The rejection of Bush lackey Harriet Miers has the mighty fascists of the religious right feeling their oats and rattling their holy sabers in anticipation of an appointment of an anti American demagogue to the right of Cotton Mather. Early word today has it that a passel of anti-constitutional judicial activists were trotted out in front of the theocratic star chamber over the weekend for an imminent announcement that would sate the bloodlust of the base and would quell the peckerwood nation uprising over the Miers debacle.

Look for the unveiling of the nominee as early as Halloween Monday as the rapidly unraveling kingdom of lies and fraudulence that is the Bush administration continues to be attacked by a suddenly awakened mainstream press over the Scooter Libby indictment and the house of cards that is the empire of bullshit threatens to collapse. I can practically hear the shrillness of wounded animal Karl Rove desperately barking orders:

“Mobilize the Base! I want the abortion clinics and gay bars stormed, I want to see rubber fetuses on pitchforks, what the fuck is wrong with you people…don’t you understand what is at stake here?”

When it is all coming apart there is nothing like whipping up the masses of ignorant activist slugs with plenty of free time on their hands for various reasons that comprise the party base of the legions of hate spewing, poisonous, regressive little toads who have been duped by megalomaniac televangelists and sleazy political operatives into supporting a party that conscripts them into a war against a phantom enemy and forces them to sell their souls as well as the very future of their children in order to wage total jihad for a cause that is the very antithesis of what Jesus Christ actually stood for. The moral rot and corruption of the Republican party is anything but a just cause and it’s message much like Hitler’s proclamation of ‘Got Mit Uns’ distorts religion in order to pander to the basest of the evils and fears of humanity so as to allow them to justify anything in the name of what they have been fraudulently sold as the will of God.

The rise of the radical religious right in America and it’s takeover of the Republican party has a been terrifying spectacle to watch, most of the population goes about their daily lives oblivious to the growing malignancy of this increasingly malignant tumor on the body of secular, democratic society and the media, fearful of mass, well organized boycotts against their sponsors won’t touch the subject with a ten foot pole. The bastardized nature of their illicit union with the sad remnants of the party of Abe Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt is as shameful as it is unholy.

And how preposterous it is for one of the world’s major religions to proclaim a mandate of superiority at the expense of others, to preach to the ignorant the gospel of providence. Does it not occur to the pathetic wretches that no one, person or religion has exclusive rights to God? The evangelical Christian movement in America uses good old fashioned jingoism and nationalism to reinforce their message of theocracy and exclusion, of hate and illusion. Christ warned about the danger of following false prophets who would be as goats among sheep as well as the ultimate fate of trees that bear bitter fruit but this does not hinder a movement indoctrinated to a particular militant translation of the gospel and scriptures

Then again, this movement is not about God, it is not about morality, it is not about Christ, it is about raw institutional power, to ever believe anything else is foolishness. A good look at the Texas Republican Party platform is a glimpse at the Mein Kampf of our modern times. It is a playbook that Karl Rove will be using almost exclusively in the coming days as he launches a scorched earth campaign to distract and deceive and chart a course out of the wilderness for the unholy administration of emperor Bush and his besieged minions. Make no mistake, these people are the enemy within and are determined to overthrow the legitimate government, re-write the constitution through legislative terrorism and judicial fanaticism and enforce their cruel extremism on all who are not members of the cult.

Rove is now massing his army for an all out assault and to hell with whatever the damage ultimately may be, then again when in the hell have the America haters on the extremist right ever cared?

‘Honor and Integrity’

The long promised restoration of honor and integrity to the White House began yesterday but as with everything else in the Orwellian years of the Bush administration it is being done inversely. Addition by subtraction is the phrase generally used and the more of the sleazeballs, slicksters and carpetbaggers who have descended upon 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue since January 2001 the more improvement there will be. The joint will be a little less smelly after resignation of I. Lewis ‘Scooter’ Libby and may his departure only be the first of many.

Despite years of meticulously choreographed media, public relations spin and propaganda so shameless that even Joseph Goebbels must be rolling in his grave the true face of the ruling junta is being exposed. The bark is slowly being peeled from the enchanted tree that houses the administration wizards, hobbits and soothsayers and exposing them all as the demonic, ugly little trolls that they truly are. The mystical spell as well as the aura of invincibility is slowly but surely eroding as the failures and outings of cronies, scam artists, ‘cheese’ peddlers and domestic despots continue to pile up, when this massive gastrointestinal infection of the entire U.S. government reaches critical mass the shit is going to be flying everywhere with terminal velocity.

Any non biased/non Republican viewer of Fitzgerald’s press conference had to come away impressed with the man’s integrity and credentials. Now here was a real prosecutor, not a snickering little smut peddler like Kenneth Starr whose long running investigations of Bill Clinton seemed to be a little bit too focused on extracting all of the really juicy and steamy details of his kinky sexual encounters out in the open, he often seemed more like a closet pervert along the lines of the infamous Anthony Comstock than just another garden variety right wing corporatist ‘christian’ goon.

Of course the Rupublicans now officially known as ‘scandal puppies’ will of course circle the wagons in an ardent defense of Libby and the other scum facing criminal trials for the very serious transgressions that they have committed. The famous lack of memory or ‘I can’t recall’ tactic will be used as it always is when the scoundrels are brought before the law. This is of course absolute bullshit and anybody who buys it is a simpleton, people who have risen to power and hold high ranking and hugely influential positions are exponentially different than the average klutz who forgets to pick up the milk on a trip to the local grocery store. These are highly intelligent people whose very innate ability to recall details have put them into the positions in which they are and it is absolutely ludicrous to invoke such a transparently phony defense, then again it usually works because it can’t be proven to be false in a court of law, a nice little loophole and yet another contradiction in a system rife with them. Do you really think that an iron fisted tyrant as anal as Dick Cheney would appoint a chief of staff with the memory of a dunkard or otherwise outright ditz? Gimme a fucking break!

The same segments of the public who march in lockstep like toy soldiers to the hypnotic drumbeat of the reactionary movement that has brought this country to her knees and who long ago were led astray by a continuous siren song of lies, distortions, demagoguery and pandering will of course buy the usual talking points and continue to blame it all on the liberals, minorities and the sixties but this time, by defending those the likes of Libby, DeLay, Frist, Noe, Rove, Robertson and the rest of the defilers they are only debasing themselves. Selling their soul for a nickel and a dime at a time while skidding down the slippery slope of denial, if as Nietsche said is true, and that those who gaze into an abyss in turn are consumed by that same abyss then many will never be able to willingly find their way though the darkness and back into light.

While Libby was the first to take the fall, make no doubt about it that he was only acting according to the will of his boss Dick Cheney. Libby and Cheney ran a slick operation in the lead up to the invasion of Iraq and along with Condoleeza Rice scared the American people shitless with apocalyptic conjecture about mushroom clouds and weapons of mass destruction. Anything to lie the United States into a costly quagmire with no end in sight that would be a boon to both the neo con ideologues and the military industrial complex who they serve. Of course Joseph Wilson became an enemy who had to be terminated with extreme prejudice when he went public to expose the lies, and by extension his wife Valerie Plame was dragged into it as the Rovian character assassination onslaught began.

Libby has more enemies and is nowhere the slick operator that Rove is, the policies that come from Cheney’s and by extension Rumsfeld’s office are far more dangerous than the domestic hatred and religion baiting that are Rove’s specialties. Cheney and company are hell bent on escalating the Iraq war and doing so as soon as possible, the grand plan of global hegemony demands it. The propaganda mills are already spinning out the standard anti-Israel threats attributed to Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the same man who a few months back was the victim of a dirty lie that he was among the hostage takers who stormed the American embassy in Tehran in 1979 that set the table for the Reagan years. This was trumpeted throughout the mainstream media in the typical yellow journalism method, the same method that downplayed the story or ignored it completely when it was debunked.

As Patrick Fitzgerald said “It’s not over” and sooner or later there will be more indictments, there is a cancer upon the White House and the disease must be treated swiftly and ruthlessly lest it continue to metastasize and become terminal.

The Shuck and Jive

It is now becoming painfully apparent that we have all been conned yet again by the masters of illusion. The fantastically talented grifters of the Bush-Rove machine are on the brink of pulling off one of their most stunning feats yet, a misdirection play that will suck the credulous piss poor cretins in the mainstream media away from yet another real story like a puppy chasing a chewtoy.

Patrick Fitzgerald will likely be forced to gasp for air in a media vacuum tomorrow when he announces his impending indictment of Scooter Libby in the Valerie Plame probe and the Meirs bait and switch along with the idiot king’s visit to the hellish, privatization ravaged swampland dominion of his brother, the ruler of the diseased penis of Florida will pull the paparazzi off to the sideshow and away from the main story once again, these people never learn…maybe some other celebrity scandal will break but the die is cast, the corporate media is far too predictable for it to be otherwise.

Rove will be able to slime off of the hook of public scrutiny after copping to a lesser charge and the wily bastard already has assembled a monster public relations team to immediately storm the deserted beaches of the American intellect with a Battle of the Bulge like desperation counter-offensive blitzkreig of scandalous attacks on the intentions of the special prosecutor, the damned liberals and all of the rest of the secular humanist god hating public, just call it ‘The Day that the Grinch Stole Fitzmas’.

The Harriet Miers nomination was of course a McGuffin from the outset, no wonder why grand ayatollah Dobson was so self assured, the theocrats were in on the secret from the get go. Would they have had it any other way? That loyalist ditz was only a diversion for the brainless media whose ‘withdrawal’ from serious consideration for the vacant O’Connor seat on the SCOTUS was fortuitously timed to divert attention form the impending announcement of the results of Patrick Fitzgerald’s investigation.

Never Forget, when you are dealing with a mystical master of bullshit like Karl Rove that you need to keep an eye out for the ‘tells’ or traits like facial expressions that a truly great hustler is able to predictably see that divulge a mark’s susceptibility to being gamed.

As the game reached it’s late stages, the ‘negotiations’ to cop to a lesser charge in turn for cooperation and testimony against others was only a strategic positioning tactic to buy time and to therefore control the contest…Bill Belichik couldn’t have done a better job at game planning. Now on the eve of the big day it is anyone’s guess as to what colossal red herring is dragged out tomorrow morning by the Bush propaganda machine but it is gonna be a whopper.

Did any of us really believe that the Christian fascist mafia would for one second let some disoriented, glorified, goofy, lesbian sycophant from Texas place her infidel hands upon the glowing chalice of the crucial swing vote that has been the zircon encrusted holy grail of the 30 + year theocratic dominionist movement?

How fucking stupid and desperate were we to grasp at this piece of bait? Pessimism?

Nah, I have just seen this same type of deal go down too many times before.

Past As Prologue

In the run up to the looming disaster for the Republican party and most specifically the criminally deranged fascists of the Bush administration, without a doubt the most repugnant collection of swindlers, charlatans, hustlers, demagogues, power-crazed perverts and outright degenerates in the two and a quarter century old history of this country I needed some inspiration for the coming polemic battles. Last night I broke out some of my books in order to re-acquaint myself with a bit of the late, great American gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson for a bit of perspective on the trials and tribulations that we all must carry as a cross across our backs in Bush’s American house of ill repute. Thompson’s chronicles of the decline and fall of Richard M. Nixon and his thug army are truly stunning in retrospect when compared to the despicable vileness and filth that now rules the country and make the Nixon gang seem like rank amateurs by comparison. Without further adieu I want to post some of the doctor’s work regarding Nixon as well as some of his last commentary regarding the reign of Emperor Bush. The similarity of the Nixon era work is striking and the names could be easily swapped out so as to appear to be ripped from today’s own sorry-assed and disgraceful chain of events that have made us all an utter mockery in the eyes of the civilized world:

“Richard Nixon has never been one of my favorite people anyway. For years I’ve regarded his existence as a monument to all the rancid genes and broken chromosones that corrupt the possibilities of the American Dream; he was a foul caricature of himself, a man with no soul, no inner convictions, with the integrity of a hyena and the style of a poison toad. The Nixon I remembered was absolutely humorless; I couldn’t imagine him laughing at anything except maybe a paraplegic who wanted to vote Democratic but couldn’t quite reach the lever on the voting machine.”

“He could shake your hand and stab you in the back at the same time.”

“Jesus! Where will it end? How low do you have to stoop in this country to be President?”

“Some people will say that words like scum and rotten are wrong for objective journalism which is true, but they miss the point. He looked so good on paper that you could almost vote for him sight unseen. He seemed so all-American, so much like Horatio Alger that he was able to slip through the cracks of objective journalism. You had to get subjective to see Nixon clearly, and the shock of recognition was often painful.”

“Innocence? It is difficult to type that word on the same page with Nixon’s name. The man was born guilty-not in the traditional Vatican sense of ‘original sin’ but in a darker and highly personalized sense that Nixon himself seems to have recognized from the very beginning.”

“He will be grouped along with presidents like Grant and Harding, as a corrupt and incompetent mockery of the American Dream he praised so loud in all of his speeches…not just as a ‘crook’ but so crooked that he required the help of a personal valet to screw his pants on every morning”

Regarding the 1972 GOP Convention:

“I was out there on the crowded concrete floor of the Miami Beach Convention Center in August of 1972 when that howling mob of Republican delegates confirmed Richard Nixon’s lust for another term in the White House with their constant, thunderous chant of ‘FOUR MORE YEARS! FOUR MORE YEARS! FOUR MORE YEARS! It was bad enough, just listening to that demagogic swill-but I doubt if there were more than a dozen people in Miami that week who really understood what that cheap, demented little fascist punk had in mind for his FOUR MORE YEARS. It involved the systematic destruction of everything this country claims to stand for except the rights of the rich to put saddles on the backs of the poor and use public funds to build jails for anybody who complained about it.”

“In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely.”

Regarding the Bush Era:

“There was one exact moment, in fact, when I knew for sure that Al Gore would never be President of the United States, no matter what the experts were saying and that was when the whole Bush family suddenly appeared on TV and openly scoffed at the idea of Gore winning Florida. The Media, all of them, were Liars & Dunces or treacherous whores trying to sabotage his victory. . . Here was the whole bloody Family laughing & hooting & sneering at the dumbness of the whole world on National TV. The old man was the real tip-off. The leer on his face was almost frightening. It was like looking into the eyes of a tall hyena with a living sheep in its mouth. The sheep’s fate was sealed, and so was Al Gore’s.”

“This is going to be a very expensive war, and Victory is not guaranteed— for anyone, and certainly not for anyone as baffled as George W. Bush. All he knows is that his father started the war a long time ago, and that he, the goofy child-President, has been chosen by Fate and the global Oil industry to finish it Now.”

“This blizzard of mind-warping war propaganda out of Washington is building up steam. Monday is Anthrax, Tuesday is Bankruptcy, Friday is Child-Rape, Thursday is Bomb-scares, etc., etc., etc…. If we believed all the brutal, frat-boy threats coming out of the White House, we would be dead before Sunday. It is pure and savage terrorism reminiscent of Nazi Germany.”

“The Rumsfield-Cheney axis has self-destructed right in front of our eyes, along with the once-proud Perle-Wolfowitz bund that is turning to wax. They somehow managed to blow it all, like a gang of kids on a looting spree, between January and July, or even less. It is genuinely incredible. The U.S. Treasury is empty, we are losing that stupid, fraudulent chickencrap War in Iraq, and every country in the world except a handful of Corrupt Brits despises us. We are losers, and that is the one unforgiveable sin in America.”

“Who are these Swine? These flag-sucking half-wits who get fleeced and fooled by stupid little rich kids like George Bush? ….. Whoremongers and Warmongers

The Republican Noise Machine is shifting into overdrive in order to deflect from the long rumored, soon to be coming indictments over the CIA leak case that will likely spell political doom for Wint and Kidd among others. The always reliable blowhards were blowing enormous quantities of hot air with one of the worst examples being resident Texan nut job senator Kay Bailey Nutchison who hit the bloviation circuit of the Sunday morning talk shows with a full head of steam by quoting from the latest version of the RNC damage control talking points memo on NBC’s Meet the Press.

Nutchison minimized the importance of the potential charges by proclaiming that perjury was a ‘technicality’ and not a serious crime and implied that Patrick Fitzgerald may only be bringing the ‘lesser charges to show that “two years’ of investigation was not a waste of time and dollars.” What Nutchison left out was as blatantly obvious as her spin was concocted. What she really meant is that perjury is not a serious crime unless it involves LYING ABOUT A BLOW JOB! And whatever cost that Fitzgerald’s ongoing investigation eventually clocks in at it will be a mere pittance compared to the eighty fucking million dollars that were spent on Republican sponsored witch hunts during the Clinton administration. Nutchison’s bizarre rationale even stunned longtime sycophant, Bush administration apologist and resident Meet The Press ass kisser Tim Russert who incredulously pointed out:

“But the fact is perjury or obstruction of justice is a very serious crime and Republicans certainly thought so when charges were placed against Bill Clinton before the United States Senate.”

Of course like any other asshole hypocritical Republican what Nutchison failed to mention is that she and her ilk had no such reservations over the squandering of millions of taxpayer dollars on any of the borderline treasonous attacks on Bill Clinton during his eight years in office, any of which is like spitting onto the street compared to the very grave and serious abuses of power of the Bush-Rove-Cheney-DeLay crime syndicate. Clinton was so driven to distraction that he was unable to duly execute the powers of his office in tracking down Osama Bin Laden due to the Republican invocation of the movie Wag the Dog after he ordered attacks on potential terrorist sites in 1998 which had they been successful may have prevented 9/11. The fanatically driven Republicans went to the extent of actually chanting “no war for Monica” as a rallying cry in congress and their activists soon took up the cause. A serious contradiction is that the exact people who now denounce war critics as unpatriotic and treasonous were themselves acting like a bunch of the limp wristed sissy liberals whom they selectively choose to decry when it serves their own interests. Then again, these are the same rat bastards who use religious distortion to lure their trailer trash red state constituents to the polls, illiterate legions of underemployed and undereducated peckerwoods whose numbers allow the moneychangers to run Jesus out of the temple and progressive modern educational concepts out of the public schools. And we all wonder why this nation is fucked up to the point where so many Americans are convinced that the country is headed in the wrong direction, just don’t tell the Republicans and their idiot in the White House who stubborny insists on driving around in circles without bothering to stop to ask directions, then again that is vintage strong daddy and any deviation from five years of that utter horseshit will expose the entire illusion as the phony sham that it is even to the dumbest of the dumb who are not chronic and absolute dead ender members of the GOP base.

It comes as no surprise that Nutchison is a Texan, after all, it seems as though nearly all of the purveyors of bullshit involved in the sordid influence peddling scandals connected to this administration have their roots in the Lone Star State. The capitol has become as much a den of iniquity as the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas as a result of these bogus, phony piety spouting, seriously bent, sleazy charlatans and snake oil sales associates and they should all be boiled in oil until they reach the crispiness of a chicken fried steak. In an interesting footnote a collection of several of Harriet Miers’ fawning, simplistic notes to ‘the best governor ever” are available on The Smoking Gun as well as several official documents that allegedly show here involvement in a myriad of questionable endeavors regarding the idiot king prior to his ascension to the national throne.

Speaking of Junior Bush, he is getting more than a little bit testy these days according to Dan Froomkin’s Washington Post blog:

Thomas M. DeFrank writes in a New York Daily News cover story: “Facing the darkest days of his presidency, President Bush is frustrated, sometimes angry and even bitter, his associates say.

“The specter of losing [Karl] Rove, his only truly irreplaceable assistant, lies at the heart of Bush’s distress. But a string of political reversals, including growing opposition to the Iraq war, Hurricane Katrina’s aftermath and Harriet Miers’ bungled Supreme Court nomination, have also exacted a personal toll.

“Presidential advisers and friends say Bush is a mass of contradictions: cheerful and serene, peevish and melancholy, occasionally lapsing into what he once derided as the ‘blame game.’ . . .

” ‘The President is just unhappy in general and casting blame all about,’ said one Bush insider. ‘Andy [Card, the chief of staff] gets his share. Karl gets his share. Even [Vice President] Cheney gets his share. And the press gets a big share.’

“The vice president remains Bush’s most trusted political confidant. Even so, the Daily News has learned Bush has told associates Cheney was overly involved in intelligence issues in the runup to the Iraq war that have been seized on by Bush critics.

“Bush is so dismayed that ‘the only person escaping blame is the President himself,’ said a sympathetic official, who delicately termed such self-exoneration ‘illogical.’ ”


WELL, JUST FUCK HIM!

Poor George, now that the free ride is over and the rats are either gnawing on each other or looking for seats on the nearest lifeboat, he reverts to the petulant, privileged little pissant that he has always been, only this time daddy is not coming to the rescue, especially not after Brent Scowcroft’s blistering comments in this week’s edition of the New yorker Magazine. Boy George is on his own now, left to sink or swim with the reactionary, short sighted, morally deficient and ideologically blinded hole in the wall gang that he has surrounded himself with: Good luck! Sympathy is in short supply in these dark and dreary days and hopefully the entire bunch will soon be going down, going down to Chinatown and we will soon be able to piss on the political graves of these bargain basement, tinhorn revolutionaries who tried to usurp the very foundations of American democracy for their own degenerate reasons just as was done over three decades ago when Nixon and his Nazis stepped over the line. In a functional democracy every so often a good cleansing enema needs to be administered to the scoundrels entrusted with overseeing the institutions that are responsible for the welfare of the general public and there is no better time to give the rubber bulb a good hard squeeze than right now. With any luck at all Dick Cheney will be under such immense pressure that he finally experiences a true Fred Sanford moment and his Frankenstein monster of a patched together heart will finally explode once and for all, therefore ridding the planet of the malignantly evil, human embodiment of the military industrial complex. If Dick kicks it would certainly save a lot of explaining regarding the trumped up evidence leading to the war in Iraq, the no bid contracts awarded to Haliburton and KBR among others, a true accounting of the nefarious behind the scenes machinations of the most intimate inner circle of the neo con cabal as well as the real story of exactly what in the fuck happened that led to the events of 9/11/01 and the massive cover up in the aftermath, most importantly being exactly what was Cheney’s role while president numb nuts was reading ‘My Pet Goat’ and then flown around the country and kept out of the loop while Cheney called the shots from his own secret command center. The death of such an integral figure wouldn’t exactly be without precedent either, who knows what evil lurked in the mind of former CIA director Bill Casey regarding the illegal activities of the Reagan administration when he took his dirt nap in 1987, after all dead men tell no tales.

And Finally: The Pentagon is dusting off the macabre just in time for Halloween. Yes, the Viet Nam era body count is returning. The more that they try to spin that the Iraq meatgrinder bears no resemblence to a certain conflict in Indochina the more that they make it a truism.

As Captain Willard so eloquently put it in Apocalypse Now:

An Abysmal Standard:

The latest right wing spin being disseminated into the public sphere as a defense for the recent exposure of the GOP mob is a focus group tested, think tank approved bit of folderol called ‘the criminalization of politics’ and is an all too typical blame the liberals blanket defense for the coming storm of indictments that is going to shine a long needed light into the Republican cockroach nest. There is a piece appearing in op ed sections across the fruited plain penned by neoconservative pimp and resident Weekly Standard shithack William Kristol. The big push is on to feed this into the zeitgeist as soon as possible and it is likely to dominate every right wing propaganda organ’s agenda for at least the next week. Why any respectable newspaper would see fit to run anything that has its genesis in a Rupert Murdoch publication is beyond me and my so called liberal hometown paper had it prominently featured this very morning, then again just how liberal can a paper be when it routinely features columns by such fascist mouthpieces as Charles Krauthaumer and George Will? The Standard of course was the main source of information for Clinton conspiracy theorists obsessed with the alleged murder of Vince Foster, Hillary’s secret lesbian orgies in the White House basement and the miniature crack pipes that adorned the Clinton Christmas tree. Could it be that the so called criminalization of politics is directly related to the awful truth that so many of our politicians are actually engaged in criminal activity?

Leeching onto the Gipper:

In an effort to revive his rapidly sinking credibility and reverse disastrous poll ratings the idiot king, on a recent trip to California attempted to link himself to beloved cultural icon Ronald Reagan in a public relations appearance so blatantly shameless that not even Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger could stomach showing up. George W. Bush invoked The Gipper in comparing the stuggle against communism with his own phony war on terror. It wasn’t the first time that Junior has tried to latch onto Reagan, the media created father figure of the 1980’s and the idol of a nation infatuated with television and movie stars and the fantasy worlds which they inhabit. After the senile old bastard finally kicked the bucket last summer Bush hovered over his carcass as it laid in state in Washington like some ghoulish vampire, seeking to somehow show that he was the rightful heir to the mythical Reagan ‘legacy’. The reverse happened instead, given the orgy of overexposure and exploitation that was the meticulously choreographed weeklong funeral wistful comparisons to the former B movie actor who became the country’s most famous and overrated cowboy, GWB was actually diminished by direct comparison to the larger than life figure that the image masters had created in Reagan. The entire week of wall to wall coverage was of such a surrealist nature that it would have been better suited for some totalitarian state where the public pays a final farewell to a despotic ruler the likes of Joseph Stalin, it was eerie and bizarre and all the product of a radical movement seeking to push a revisionist history of the beloved Gipper as some sort of iconic father figure on a par with George Washington.

Activists the likes of Grover Norquist have long been backing the Reagan Legacy Project which has a goal of renaming as many taxpayer funded buildings and roads after Reagan as possible, recent efforts to have him replace the hated FDR on the dime faded away from public view but the behind the scenes push is still on. I would half expect to see an effort to have his smiling visage chiseled into Mount Rushmore any day now as desperate neoliberals, free market fanatics and domestic fascists seek to keep their movement going despite the anchorlike drag of the Bush administration’s recent implosion. If Bush really wanted to pay homage to Reagan as well as to reinvigorate his sagging popularity he would launch a federally funded mandate to both explore and expand stem cell research rather than pander to the regressive theocrats and rubber fetus crowd that comprise his base by threatening to veto any such attempts.

Life Imitates Art:

The first thought that flashed through my mind when seeing the Tom DeLay booking photo in which the most corrupt man in the history of the American congress grinned like a perverse little cherub was just how much that he reminded me of Amon Goth, the demonic Nazi portrayed by Ralph Fiennes in the movie Schindler’s List. At the end when Goth was being hanged for his crimes against humanity he cracked a similar smile, proclaimed “Heil Hitler” and then the hangman’s noose cinched tight around his neck as the gallows doors opened and performed the deed of launching his blackened and irredeemable soul on a high speed, downward trajectory into Hell. DeLay may have been able to cheat the Democrats out of a perfect mugshot to be used against him but his days of cheating the hangman are coming to a close.

Holy Welfare Batman:

With the infusion of money given to the radical Christian political movement resulting in the construction of so many multi-million dollar mega churches popping up with the regularity of warts across the land isn’t it due time to rethink their tax exempt status? Now that churches are increasingly becoming wholly owned subsidiaries of the GOP why exactly are they allowed to duck paying their fair share of the tax burden? Next to wealthy tax cheats and corporations that have offshore mailing addresses while continuing to do business in the U.S. the so called evangelical houses of worship are the biggest chiselers in America and a drag on the deficit due to their failure to pay taxes, an astonishing contradiction to those who supposedly decry the evils of the welfare state and who are often the ones more dependent on the federal dole than any. Then again hypocrisy is nothing new to evangelicals who gather in large flocks and as usual have an interesting and selective interpretation of the words of Jesus Christ:

“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Am I the only one who has thought that the utterly diabolical menace of the figures in the rogue Bush administration is so blatantly foul that they are more like caricatures from a James Bond movie? Well that movie would have to be the 1971 offering in the long running series Diamonds are Forever. There couldn’t be a more perfect pair of evildoers than Karl Rove and ‘Scooter’ Libby and there isn’t a more perfect resemblance to an on screen diabolic duo than to Mr. Wint and Mr. Kidd, assassins in the employ of arch villain and longtime Bond nemesis Ernest Stavro Blofeld who is a dead ringer for none other than Dick Cheney himself. Blofeld is the head of the international espionage organization S.P.E.C.T.R.E which could just as easily be the P.N.A.C. or the Project for A New American Century.

Former Iraqi strongman and Bush family nemesis Saddam Hussein’s trial officially began the other day and the man who used to be the iron fisted despot aka the next Hitler for U.S. public relations purposes stood in the dock to face trumped up charges over his role in the 1982 Dujail massacre. What a kangaroo court.

Heresy?

Don’t even go there, I will never be one to defend Hussein for the myriad of heinous crimes committed during his reign of terror and torture, he is every bit a king bastard international criminal who is fully deserving of his coming tenure in Hell, a very warm place where he will certainly have plenty of time to get reacquainted with company from current and former U.S. administrations but wasn’t he our thug at one time? Saddam once had such mainstream appeal that he was actually presented with the key to the city of Detroit in 1980, a typical repug response would be to blame it on Jimmy Carter since it happened during his administration but the truth is that he was a very useful friend to both strong daddy Reagan and wimp daddy Bush until he fucked up big time by boasting that he had enough WMD’s to “make fire to eat up half of Israel”(Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz and their Likud cronies likely had a collective aneurysm) and then decided to invade Kuwait and perch his army on the Saudi border which placed him in the same persona non grata status with the Bushes and their ilk as another former thug who had outlived his usefulness: Manuel Noreiga.

Uncle Saddam was A-OK with those whose opinions and policies counted as long as he was waging war against the Iran of Ayatollah Ruhollah Kohmeini during the eighties and providing a bulwark against the rise of Islamic fundamentalism in the region, a militant theocratic movement which threatened both Israel and the ruling house of Saud (who incidentally use radical religious dogma to pit the poverty stricken masses of Saudi Arabia against the Great Satan of the west in order to divert their attention from the corruption of the ruling regime, much the same way that the current Republican party does in the U.S.). Hussein was armed to the teeth by the Reagan administration who subverted the normal congressional process by filtering munitions and military hardware through all too willing regimes in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Egypt. Craig Unger’s great book House of Bush, House of Saud takes a good look at the creation of the ‘new Hitler’ as well as the creation of Osama Bin Forgotten and the strange, symbiotic relationship between the Saudi Royal family and the Bush American dynasty.

The problem is that Saddam being charged with the wrong crime so as to obfuscate the facts and conceal the complicity of the United Stages and most specifically Reagan – Bush Sr. administration figures who facilitated his rise to power and the acquisition of his military weaponry. Why not put Hussein on trial for gassing his own people, after all it was repeatedly used as one of the primary reasons for invading Iraq in the first place? Could it be because of when the incident actually occurred: 1988? Hussein was actually gassing the Iranians years prior to the infamous incident, in 1983 Donald Rumsfeld (yes THAT Donald Rumsfeld) was sent on a mission as a special emissary on behalf of the Gipper to allegedly confront Saddam over the usage of the chemicals but the arms kept flowing into Iraq. Saddam and the United States were as snug as bugs in a rug until he went off of the reservation and invaded Kuwait, threatening the Bush family friendly Saudi Royal family and then it became necessary to take him out.

It is like charging Jeffrey Dahmer for jaywalking on the way to his fifteenth victim’s house while ignoring the far more serious offenses of murder and cannibalism.

It is very clear that the object is purely to convict and execute Hussein as quickly as possible so as to avoid any testimony that would be embarrassing to current administration figures and U.S. corporations.

Who sold Hussein the chemicals necessary to produce the gas and the helicopters from which it was dropped?

And the mass graves? They are filled with the bodies of those who were slaughtered in the aftermath of the first Gulf war when daddy incited Iraqis to revolt and then cut and ran.

The Israeli influenced neo con cabal was intent on global hegemony and the map to world domination began in Baghdad. Of course it was an easy sell to the king dunce because Hussein was the man who at one time ‘tried to kill my dad’. The entire dog and pony show of Hussein’s sham trial isn’t exactly winning hearts and minds from those in Iraq wistful for the days of his rule. Let’s face it, the so called liberators have become every bit the cruel torturers that Saddam’s thugs were and the infrastructure was functional, there was electricity and running water and jobs for Iraqis and not Haliburton and Bechtel contractors seeking to plunder the U.S. treasury under the guise of no bid reconstruction contracts. Edgy soldiers patrol the streets, Pentagon backed mercenaries conduct black ops with absolutely no oversight or accountability for their criminal conduct. Iraq is being bled by corporations who have friends in high places like Dick Cheney who continues to profit handsomely from increases in the value of Haliburton stock. The mockery of Hussein’s trial has actually contributed to a worsening situation in Iraq and it is about to get even bloodier now that one of his defense attorneys was kidnapped and murdered yesterday. Throw in the dubious results of the constitutional vote earlier in the week and the disenfranchisement of Sunnis, the swirling rumors of fraud and the ongoing bombing with the ‘collateral damage’ of dead civilians and there is quite obviously no end in sight for the carnage and clusterfuck despite Condi’s cheery proclamations and the administration spin targeting suckers and pollyannas.

Hussein was his feisty self, proclaiming innocence as well as stating that he was still the president of Iraq, who better than he to realize the illegitimacy of being the chief player in a rigged game.

Iraq is a disaster, the deficit is a catastrophe, our government is slowly being exposed as every bit as treacherous, corrupt and morally bankrupt as Hussein’s with new revelations and indictments popping up nearly every day now. The growing realization that our entire foreign policy has been hijacked by a cabal of madmen led by Cheney and Rumsfeld who concocted plans for empire in private and used lies, media brainwashing and intimidation to force them off on the public is beginning to take hold as is the fact that the lunatics are running the asylum in this country. Lunatics whose ascendancy was years in the making, stoked by operatives fanning the flames of domestic religious hatred and southern bigotry, they demonized Bill Clinton to set the stage for the 2000 coup consummated by a fraudulent election and a politicized supreme court. Bill Clinton received the costliest blow job in world history, we will all be paying very dearly for it for the remainder of our lives.

DEMOCRACY ARRIVES IN IRAQ *

The long heralded and much ballyhooed vote on the Iraqi constitution was held over the weekend and the flacks and shills promptly hit the Sunday morning talking head shows determined to mount a full frontal public relations offensive. Top neo-con acolyte one of George W. Bush’s two mommies (Karen ‘Razor Face’ Hughes is the other) Condi Rice praised the day as though it were the second coming of Christ. The woman who despite taking a run at Imelda Marcos as reigning shoe queen of the planet Earth poo pooed any 2008 presidential aspirations was in rare form, invoking an Ollie North style hitch in her voice while repeatedly while spinning like a top and throwing out administration talking points in machine gun fashion.

The insurgency was in it’s final throes once again, and Condi was both resplendent and ascendant, looking like the bomb and sharing NBC sycophant Tim Russert’s stage with Louis ‘don’t blame me’ Freeh who was pimping his new book while slamming Bill Clinton much to the delight of right wingers everywhere. Rice extolled the virtues of democracy at gunpoint in praising the Iraqi balloting and trying to shore up Dubya’s rapidly shrinking image even though a passage could alienate some factions and push the country onward towards more violence and quite possibly a long predicted civil war. Condi also subtly beat the war bongos for a future action against Syria, the next expansion of the bogus war on terror on the neo-con hit list. We had all better hope that the Fitzgerald probe brings down Dick ‘Dr. Evil’ Cheney himself or we may soon find ourselves in yet another escalating quagmire ala Viet Nam after the bombing of Cambodia upped the ante on the war. The phantom menace of Zarqawi will likely soon be spotted again, perhaps even in connection with another bogus domestic terror threat like today’s closing of Baltimore tunnels, the next few days could see a flurry of announcements of impending doom to keep the fear levels jacked on high and to distract from the dilemma of an announcement of indictments against Dick Cheney’s toadie Scooter Libby and others. Another hurricane (a media favorite) will also suck away coverage so be vigilant of stories that will pass under the radar and hit the internet and this blog whenever possible for the real scoop and analysis that Americans deserve.

The disaster that is Iraq is both a continuing embarrassment for ‘the war president’ and a drain on both the natural treasury and our young who will soon have to be sent in increasing numbers to serve as cannon fodder in the pursuit of the Kingdom of Heaven. The news from Iraq is managed beyond comprehension to allow only the positive spin to emerge unscathed from the filtering process, mainstream media outlets are tired of the downer of listing the daily explosions, assassinations and attacks on U.S. troops and are complicit in downplaying the coverage. What information that we do get on Iraq is so watered down with spin as to make it useless. King George’s hideously phony teleconference on Thursday set up the running of the flacks, the news that the entire thing was an act of make believe elicited outrage albeit only temporarily among the press and by Friday it was pretty much forgotten by all but the Bushies.

In a timely piece of retaliation, Armed Forces Radio reneged on a previous agreement to broadcast one hour of the radio show of moderate DLC mouthpiece Ed Schultz as a counterpoint to their saturation of right wing propagandist filth that the troops are subjected to while they get blown into bloody chunks while purportedly fighting for the rights of the Iraqi people to dissent and speak freely without being dipped in acid or tortured by a maniacal dictator. Such are the trivial contradictions in the most surrealist of American times. Shultz openly criticized the mockery of a teleconference between King George and ten meticulously screened military officers who were coached by Pentagon P.R. hack Alison Barber who personally called Schultz’s show with the news that he had been reclassified persona non grata. That is called censorship and has no place in a functional democracy and needs to be strongly condemned by all.

The results may end up playing very differently in Baghdad than they do in Washington, the locals are unlikely to accept an obvious U.S. backed effort at the same time that our national guard is occupying their country. More likely the results will be questioned if not held in outright contempt by a people more sophisticated than ours and one who at least familiar in passing to the shoddy record of the neo-cons and the Bush administration when it comes to free and fair elections, most notably in 2000 Florida, 2004 Ohio and the democracy by Diebold that has allowed such a radical faction to retain a vise like grip on American power for the past five years and breaking news as I am going to post this is already indicating that there are allegations of voter fraud.

Of course in an effort to spread ‘democracy’ by force U.S. forces conducted a bombing raid on ‘suspected militants’, at least 39 civilians are reportedly a part of the body count, women and children are only collateral damage to the neo con death cult and their bid for a holy empire for American Jesus.

Round and Round It Goes, Where it stops Nobody Knows.

The OZ Metaphor

In Frank Rich’s New York Times Sunday column a few weeks back he made a great analogy to a long beloved movie in describing King George in the aftermath of the Katrina Debacle.

“ONCE Toto parts the curtain, the Wizard of Oz can never be the wizard again. He is forever Professor Marvel, blowhard and snake-oil salesman. Hurricane Katrina, which is likely to endure in the American psyche as long as L.Frank Baum’s mythic tornado, has similarly unmasked George W. Bush.”

Nothing could be closer to the truth, Oz the Great and Terrible is now no more and Bush has finally been exposed for the utterly perverse fraud that he has always been, a mockery of a leader created by a cadre of party activists, image masters, script writers, fear mongers, Jesus juice drinkers and degenerate tax cheats. Now that the curtain has finally been opened it is apparent through his plummeting poll numbers that the myth has been laid bare and the ‘war president’ is nothing more than a melding of Forrest Gump and Elmer Gantry as channeled by P.T. Barnum.

As for the Wizard of Oz metaphor regarding this most dishonest and fictitious of political periods it is both wonderfully and shamefully true. To borrow from another famous fairy tale we have gone through the looking glass and down the rabbit hole which may or may not inevitably prove to be a grave but that is for the future to reveal.

Rich pegged it dead on with the GWB-Wizard analogy and here are some more that I would like to add:

The Cowardly Lion: The craven Democrats of course.

The Tin Man: I know that this is a deviation from the intent of the original story but the truly heartless individuals are in the Republican party, the biggest gathering of ruthless bastards in U. S. history and a group so mean spirited that as the Alice Cooper song goes ‘they’d poison a blind man’s dog and steal his cane’.

The Scarecrow: When looking for the brainless you could not ask for a better example than the television addicted, uninformed and easily misled American people, the biggest collection of assorted suckers this side of the Tootsie Pop factory.

The Wicked Witch: The conflicted and supremely evil Boy Genius who with any luck is about to have a date with destiny and a bucket of water hurled by Patrick Fitzgerald.

The Yellow Brick Road: A great metaphor for the primrose path to ruin that the country has been led down by the Bush administration, the Neo Cons, the free market zealots and the Religious Right.

The Winged Monkeys: Republican toady activists and their cronies in the corporate media.

Myself, I just want to click my heels three times and wish that I could go home to the country that I used to live in again, unfortunately it no longer exists having been swept away by the tornado of 2001.

Fight The Future

Progressives have little chance to overcome the momentum of the takeover, having been asleep at the wheel over the past three decades while the extremist right wing built their empire of hate and disinformation is far too big of an obstacle to overcome in any short period minus some catastrophic and galvanizing effect. It is going to take an event like a reverse 9-11, perhaps a massive stock market crash, oil supply disruption or financial crisis leading to a depression would do it but would even something as drastic as that push obese and stupid Americans to get their asses off of the sofas and to but down the tv remotes and engage in democracy? Hurricane Katrina was a start as far as taking a bit of the sheen off of the Bush halo but the gross racketeering of the Tom DeLay congress continues unabated despite his recent indictment on money laundering charges. DeLay, the greasy little Ratso Rizzo lookalike that he is, is like an evil vampire and in order to finish him and to break the spell of the politburo style rule of his morally corrupt Christo-fascist acolytes in the House he must not only have a stake driven through his heart but his head needs to be cut off and his mouth stuffed with garlic and then burned, the ashes buried in a hermetically sealed lead canister, encased in a reinforced concrete block and dumped in the middle of the Arctic Ocean. The always wimpy House Dems, after being rolled again by the DeLay machine last week were left chanting shame, shame, shame just like Gomer Pyle who looks like Rambo compared to the spineless losers in congress.

Progressives, which is what liberals now have to reinvent themselves as after the word liberal was demonized by years of incessant propaganda that has effectively rendered it as a dirty and vile word (very much like the word Juden was in 1930’s Germany) don’t have the time to fight a long term battle against the reactionary right wing, the damage that has already been inflicted will likely never be reversed in our lifetime, the lies are too much a part of the zeitgeist and the bile too infectious. Too much ground has already been ceded, there is no infrastructure in place and no leadership, and none dare call a spade a spade with the exception of Howard Dean who has been turned into a cartoon by the right wing media machine and will be crushed by the corrupt leadership of the Democratic Party if he begins to gain any momentum at all in running the DNC as a grass roots organization independent of beltway influence and corporate money.

Another fatal flaw is that liberals/progressives are through their own nature far too passive and compromise oriented to have any sort of a fighting chance against the extremists in the Republican fascist ranks who are relentlessly cruel and driven, unless they grow a spine and do it soon they will have two choices: conform or be crushed. Progressives don’t have the time nor the resources to fight a 30 + year battle for reclaiming the discourse, the enemy is entrenched too deeply. They are also too ideological and just plain mean, being that it is a fight against reactionary lunatics, every minute wasted adds to the count of the dead, the soon to be dead or otherwise doomed, the body bags are being filled daily (although the mainstream media pays no attention) through our ill conceived foreign misadventure and there are future wars in the planning stages as the neo cons look to expand their influence despite setbacks, both Syria and Iran are in Cheney and Rummy’s wet dreams. There are dead men and women walking all across America today and they don’t even realize it, one day it will be they who are taking hostile fire and being blown apart by IED’s in the holy crusade against Islam.

The true hope for the future is for a new movement to emerge, a movement comprised of those true patriots who are as mad as hell and are not going to take it any more, who are willing to get down and dirty with the fascists on their own level and duel in the trenches for those principles that are our birthright as Americans and which are being stolen from us by fanatical global gangsters like the Bushes and their ilk. This movement is going to have to compromise on some issues that are sure losers which have been attached like millstones to the necks of liberals for far too long now. Quite simply put, the defense of abortion and gay marriage must go, they have been far too effective at mobilizing the feeble minded into a bigoted, Christo zombie fascist army intent on backing the globalists who are robbing the country blind in their quest for a one world government and religion. These are not rational people, their version of Jesus Christ has no use for the poor and downtrodden, ignores the sins of wealth, turns worship into idolatry and is bent on fiery vengeance, they are the sort who will put their children to bed every night cold and starving so that they are able to wage cultural warfare on liberalism, science and free thought. By dropping the defense of these issues or at least minimizing their importance it will defuse some of the energy of the reactionary machine and allow for some of its members who are not too far gone or absorbed into the cult to be peeled off and to see the true enemy which is the ufettered free markets that have risen to dominance in the post Reagan years. In exchange for a compromise on these two issues a populist movement needs to be formed with the ultimate goal of destroying the global corporate agenda and returning power to the people. Yesterday on Meet the Press Pat Buchanan stated that George W. Bush does not want to overturn Roe v. Wade, of course he doesn’t, it would take away their biggest weapon in the ‘culture war’. It is quite a commentary on the state of present day America when a flame thrower like Buchanan speaks more sense than the average co-opted politicians.

As last spring’s Republican intervention in the Terri Schiavo case showed, we no longer as a nation can expect a fair system of law to be applied, if the decisions of the courts and the states don’t happen to agree with the ruling elite their lacky legislature will just pass frivolous and damaging laws to throw a case into the court of an activist judge who will rule favorably for the corporate-religious backed extremists . The ascendancy of apple cheeked All-American Boy John Roberts, a Trojan horse zealot to Chief Justice with no opposition whatsoever will prove to be one of the most disastrous events in terms of individual rights in the history of the nation. There is still another seat on the bench in play and given the overt hostility towards Harriet Miers it is only a matter of time until a real reactionary replaces her even of the administration’s asses are on the line. The rabid dogs of the base demand bloody red meat and her appointment will not sate the hunger of those whose idea of a perfect jurist is Alabama lunatic Roy Moore, his display of the graven image of the marble replica of the Ten Commandments is paid more reverence by the fundamentalists than to Moses himself descending down the mountain. Soon the courts will offer no protection and the extremists will then set about dismantling all social progress of the last century, that has always been the plan with these people and it is soon going to be a reality despite its immersion in the materialist, celebrity, tv fog of a culture that obscures their true intentions. Cut dependence on Middle Eastern oil, open Anwar and the Florida coastline to drilling and exploration but in return for this there must be a move to conserve, mandated fuel efficiency standards and increased money toward alternative fuel development programs.

Stop our involvement in foreign wars and severely limit foreign aid for military usage, this only serves to fuel the military industrial complex that Eisenhower warned of and is embodied by the likes of Dick Cheney and his ilk.

Return jobs to America and stop the outsourcing. Buy American, lessen the demand for cheap foreign products and start supporting small business instead of corporations.

Emphasize the teaching of history and civics, this will allow for the scoundrels to be kept out of government.

Stop the absurd war against science being conducted by the extreme religious right, this is only destroying the ability of this country to be competitive with others who are not blinded by religious dogma. Intelligent design is another pr marketing phrase designed to mask the regressive theocratic theory of creationism.

Religious compromise to an extent; if a large percentage of the nation happens to be of the devout Christian faith so be it, but if they are going to use the bible as the guiding force for their daily lives then let it be the entire book. There needs to be an emphasis placed on those issues that Christ cared about the most being compassion for the poor, love for your fellow man, tolerance and preaching about the evils of money and power that corrupt our souls as well as our human existence. With the GOP’s expulsion of the true message of Christ from Christianity a great religion has been hijacked by televangelists who are nothing more than kingmakers for a corrupt and bellicose domestic fascist regime and a global corporate elite. Where are the voices of the religous left, after all, Jesus was a liberal and was crucified by the same type of bastards who now falsely use his name to advance their most unholy and decidedly un Christlike of agenda.

Most importantly, in trying to win back some semblance of power and to slow the total and catastrophic slide into a fascist theocratic police state it is of the utmost importance to shed any naïve or otherwise idealistic ideas of reaching compromise through civil means. When you are fighting an army of bastards you have to become the biggest king bastard of them all and to not only utilize their own tactics in regaining power put to jack up the level of intensity. The thing about the extreme right is that in most cases they have a glass jaw and no stomach for a fair fight, they play a great offense but no defense. To use an analogy that can be understood by sports fans the extreme right is very much like the NFL’s St. Louis Rams of several years back when they were the media’s much ballyhooed ‘greatest show on turf’. The Rams had a dazzling offense that caught the rest of the league completely off guard and left them in shock and awe as every game turned into a high scoring track meet as the Rams rang up points in record fashion, winning convincingly by lopsided scores on most weekends. However, once coaches became aware that the Rams actually had virtually no defense these games became closer, albeit still high scoring in most instances but the gap began to be closed. Soon, teams like the Tampa Buccaneers and New England Patriots exposed the Rams for the phony smoke and mirrors show that they were by actually busting their fleet footed receivers in the mouth and making them pay physically for every catch, delivering punishment even in losing games, soon their innovative and much feared offense was exposed as a unit that was scared of it’s own shadow. When the going got tough, thusly unveiling a poorly coached team that was a media created juggernaut and lacked that intestinal fortitude to throw down when the other team upped their intensity and the Rams haven’t won jack shit of any value since 1999. This is exactly the sort of characteristic that the radical right has and it is time for somebody to start administering the forearm shivers and cheap shots that will put the fear of god into their front running activists.

Be prepared to fight a guerilla war, they have the money and the power so it is impossible to compete on a level playing field, their infrastructure needs to be infiltrated and destroyed wherever and whenever possible. As Mao Tse-tung once said “Give me just two or three men in a village, and I will take the village.” Go forth and join the churches, education boards and other civic organizations and represent.

Recruiting and training: EDUCATE– people are not informed and are being led into ruin by the propaganda of the corporate media, the neo cons and the theocrats. The silent majority is a docile but slumbering giant that needs to be awakened to the truth.

Dissemination of the message should be done at the cognitive level of a fourth grader, remember, this is the bumper sticker mentality and American attention spans are fleeting.

Utilize subliminal or deceptive messaging wherever possible when it comes to distorting your opponent’s initiatives, turn their own tactics back upon them, after all the truth is on our side.

It is imperative to both the future of this country as well as to the entire world that change begins to take place and take place immediately. The Republican party is at this moment vulnerable to a counter attack but it must be massive and unrelenting, work that the DLC wants no part of, they have already cut their own deals and are determined to carry the standard of Hillary Clinton and the rest of the war mongers and corporate appeasers who would only be representative of the same iron fist only wrapped in a velvet glove.

As per Ghandi: “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win”. It’s high time to start taking the fight to the bastards and stop playing defense. It is a losing strategy in a time when the cost of losing grows exponentially with each passing day.
