I have not in my three years or so of blogging ever seen shuch shrillness, crying mommy, cyber bullying, censorship and caterwauling over assuaging the feelings of the identity based groups who have attached themselves to the gigantic hog at the feeding trough that is the Democratic party in the same spirit of their much savvier brethren in the Republican pig sty.

The carnage has been unbelievable as the surrogates of Mrs. Clinton and their angry army of post-menopausal crusaders hunt the blogosphere in packs swarming, intimidating and spreading outright lies and propaganda while enforcing pressure on blog owners and admins to stigmatize, censor and ban any who don’t use the utmost deference in planting big, wet sloppy kisses on the Queen’s ass. I have personally been a party to some of this and faced as withering an attack as anything that I ever faced when fighting the right and what made it so bizarre is that those who once were firmly aligned with those fighting to beat back the tide of American fascism are now reduced to the ‘my team vs your team’ identity based politics that the modern Democratic party milk to continue their con game in passing themselves off as any sort of legitimate opposition entity.

The most kick ass club in the bag for the legions of Hillemmings is the dreaded ‘misogynist’ card which has been dealt from the bottom of the deck most recently by that preening little British fag Elton John. ‘Sir’ John, the madman across the water is the abosolute last person who should be lecturing anybody on the finer points of gender based etiquette and lecturing Americans for their misogyny, it’s like being given an ethics lesson by Karl Rove or being taught table manners by Jeffrey Dahmer and it earned him a spot on Keith Olbermann’s Worst Person In The World list last night, jusfifiably so. We have enough problems with fanatical Zionists and the American high rolling Jews who largely back Clinton and meddling in our domestic political system and no advice from a pole smoking Englishman is necessary. Let’s face it, we have enough of our own fucking problems in retaining our national sovereignty in an increasingly hostile globalist world. Besides, the misogyny thing just doesn’t work with Mrs. Clinton no matter how much her stooges and public relations hacks want you to think so, this is a woman who is the penultimate elitist, was a high powered corporate lawyer, a Wal-Mart board member and currently a U.S. Senator so where exactly did she smack into that glass ceiling like a fly into a windshield?

The entire thing is just total horseshit and the Establishment is desperate to do anything that is possible to take out Obama and roll out the red carpet for the return of the globalist Clinton crime family. In some of the darker corners of the internet there are already sinister connections being made between Saint Barack and the dead homosexual choirmaster at Reverend Wright’s Chicago church (making it pretty evident that the pocket media continues to flail away at the Wright sideshow) that are largely being pimped by members of the Lyndon LaRouche network. The high priest of conspiracy (who occasionally does have points of some merit) has already come out in favor of Clinton and is throwing his very substantial weight behind what is going to be a coordinated smear campaign with the Rupert Murdoch/Richard Mellon Scaife media empires to savagely take down Obama when the time comes. He was only supposed to be a ringer designed to make this sham democracy look like the real thing for the rubes and buffons in idiot America but then he got bigger ideas and went off the reservation. Judging from the percolating of such slime I predict that the mother of all racist/anti-Semitic smart bombs is being put together to forever terminate the candidacy of Mr. Obama with extreme prejudice. I had this prediction result in censorship at another site that I immensely respect for it’s ability to be inclusive and open to all opinions but Clinton surrogates flooded the admins with cries of foul and it was hidden. We will see what happens and there is no fucking way in Hell that the Clintons are going to allow an usurper to that which they are entitled.

Hell, you saw what happened to Air America’s Randi Rhodes who was suspended by that faux left radio network for making reference to Mrs. Clinton and Geraldine Ferraro as “fucking whores”(at least she didn’t call them fucking fascist cunts) during a non-network sponsored appearance that exposed the ‘liberal’ network as nothing more than a propaganda arm of the corrupt Democratic party. Rhodes who had become increasingly critical of Rodham-Clinton was sold down the river much like Mike Malloy was a year or so ago by Air America and like Malloy managed to land another gig pretty quickly at Nova M Radio which is a bit more open minded when it comes to telling it like it is although I am not down with having to cough up the coin to subscribe not that I am a huge fan of the often obnoxious Rhodes anyway. Such is the state of free speech in Murka post 9/11 where every dissenter is a potential Al Qaeda member, war is peace, ignorance is knowledge and freedom is slavery.

Kind of brings back all of those fuzzy memories of the USA PATRIOT Act doesn’t it?

Just when the ghoulish milking of the rapidly cooling gobdobblers of that prematurely deceased sow Anna Nicole Smith had slowed down a bit from the 24/7 circus maximus coverage that drowned out the spiraling Iraqi carnage, rumors war with Iran, the Scooter Libby trial, the sudden case of puppy love that Republican Senators (and that slimy little prick Joe Lieberman) had acquired for the filibuster and the ongoing needless sacrifice of more young Americans we had a winner as America’s next big thing. And even better yet, a story that would have the cowardly lemmings shitting in their pants. The premature demise of the American Goddess of the gauche only served as a warning as to the potential dangers of a bad diet, a neurotic personality, promiscuity, drug abuse and the consequences of a relentless quest to suck the poisoned cock of celebrity (to paraphrase crime writer James Ellroy) but a story that had the potential to once again put the awesome might of the Republican fear machine back online.

Not only did the Salt Lake City shopping mall shootings dominate the media coverage for several days, courtesy the flock of well-placed mockingbirds but the shooter was a Muslim to boot! Talk about the fear pimps hitting the fucking jackpot! If the hysterical overreaction to the Aqua Teen Hunger Force lite-brite style finger flipping boxes that practically closed down the entire fucking city of Boston a few weeks back made a mockery of the quivering leg-pissing culture of anger and anxiety that is so prevalent post 9/11 wasteland of Amerika then the Trolley Square Mall killing spree has propagandists in Der Heimat nearly pissing their own pants in sheer delight. The war on terror can once again be exploited because there are Muslims running wild and the may be coming soon to a mall near you! Be afraid…be very afraid!

The right-wing side of the blogosphere is aflame with anti-Muslim sentiment to begin with and the fact that the killer, a troubled 18 year old Bosnian refugee fits nicely into the Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, Michelle Maladong and the rest of the reactionary fascist scum’s convenient catch all profile for ‘terrorists’ and is only going to contribute further to the irrational persecution of all Muslims by the roving army of ignorant shitheads that are an indigenous species in this tragically fucked up country. Muslims have been systematically demonized and viewed with wariness and suspicion as potential sleeper cell members ever since the twin towers went down and the electronic media thugs jump onto every opportunity to incite the pathologically xenophobic knuckle draggers who can’t be fucking bothered to educate themselves in the culture of others in any other manner than turning on FOX or Rush Limbaugh. These bastards won’t be satisfied until they are able to incite mass pogroms and there is blood running in the streets, much like their ideological cousins: Hitler’s brownshirts.

Decades of Hollywood propaganda have successfully imbedded the image of the Arab male as a swarthy, foaming at the mouth, sneaky, America hating savage and therefore the image is all too easily conjured forth whenever the government decides that it becomes necessary to use as a tool for manufacturing consent. The recent rolling out of the insipid slogan of Islamofascism serves to perfectly illustrates this strategy. I came across an extremely interesting little book awhile back called American Terminator which examines the affects of movies in shaping and reinforcing the basis for a mythical American exceptionalism and its desire for empire. The following passage is from that book which I strongly recommend to everybody with an interest in just how celluloid serves as a delivery device that is very useful in the indoctrination process.

Fear is essential: ‘Be afraid, be very afraid’ is the American condition. The ruthlessly authoritarian Republican party has a history of using imagery and insinuation to spread the necessary fear that allows them to hold power. Blacks, gays, liberals, strong and successful women and hippies have all served as important segments of society that the GOP can scapegoat but there is nothing like the constant free-floating dread that a mysterious foreign enemy can evoke and when the Soviet Union disintegrated so did the Republican ability to exploit fear and loathing on a grand scale. That was until 9/11 and the fear of terrorism became their ultimate talisman.I would strongly recommend that any who have not had an opportunity to see Adam Curtis’ outstanding 3 part BBC documentary The Power of Nightmares to do so. It is a stunningly powerful piece that dares to pull back the curtain on the great bogus War on Terror and to call into question its very legitimacy. It will never be shown in this country as long as the neocon elitists need their bogeyman to justify their wars and their elimination of civil liberties but it is available on the internet for download at Internet Archive among other sites.

Then there is the latest Al-Qaida video. Is it just me or has anybody else noticed the different spellings of this most terrifying of all terrorist organizations in the mainstream media: Al-Qaida, Al Qaeda etc….just what the fuck is it or are these all different organizations altogether and we have been jerked around by a ruthlessly efficient propaganda machine for all these years? I can’t believe that such an on-message coordinated media machine would be so incompetent as to consistently botch the spelling unless it is deliberate. And take note that the word “Holocaust” has been inserted into this latest injection of mass propaganda for it’s sheer emotional value as well as a conflation with the comments of George W. Bush’s ideological soulmate Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

This word has been popping up with increasing frequency as of late with the doomsday clock ticking towards our rendevous with infamy and a nuclear attack on Iran.Never has the fear been so pervasive than it is today and never has an American political party been so cynical, amoral and coldly manipulative in playing to the most base of instincts to retain their iron fisted authoritarianism as the neocon Bush administration. Our airports have already been transformed into fortresses of fear and checkpoints, bag searches, racial profiling, metal detectors, dogs and heavily armed security goon squads are coming very soon to a mall near you. Fear is their ace in the hole and as Herr Goering himself once so succinctly put it “It works the same in any country”.

Rove’s Tingler

One of my all time favorite horror movies is William Castle’s 1959 classic The Tingler starring the great Vincent Price. The Tingler is a large, ugly centipede like creature that lives inside a victim’s body as a parasite and grows larger as it is fed by fear, attaching itself to the spinal cord. The Tingler literally becomes stronger as the fear level is ratcheted up. The studio even had a promo gimmick where at the end of the flick when the creature is on the loose in a theatre that certain seats in the real theatre had electric devices implanted that would then activate for an additional scare value to moviegoers.

Karl Rove has his own Tingler and it’s name is 9/11, ready to be loosed upon the American subconscious at any time and on days like today with the breaking up of the latest and greatest alleged terrorist plot (and one day after the national release of Oliver Stone’s World Trade Center – what wonderful serendiptiy or was it just another convenient coincidence?) this time ten planes departing from Britain to blow up while traveling to various U.S. destinations. Whether legitimate or another phony, overhyped conspiracy designed to invoke fear like the Miami ‘Cornrow Qaeda’ and their ridiculous plot to blow up the Sears Tower in Chicago the timing of this media fed monstrosity is suspect to say the least. According to an article on the website of the London Guardian Bush’s ‘poodle’ Tony Blair had reportedly informed our hallowed king of the coming crackdown on the plotters as early as Sunday. “Yo Blair”…Thanks for the assist….again.

The terrorists have obviously become more sophisticated since dipshit loser Richard Reid tried to light his shoes on fire and this time they were allegedly going to use a liquid explosive that was cleverly concealed in a sports drink bottle. Der Department of Homeland Security honcho that is the Boo Radley lookalike Michael Chertoff (the same guy who only a bit less than a year ago presided over the monumental fuckup in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina which was briefly an American outrage until the new season of American Idol premiered) flew into action announcing our first ever national RED ALERT terror warning and babbling on incoherently that it was ‘Suggestive of an al-Qaida plot’ despite having at the time no official linkage from the Brits who did the actual police work. In Chertoff’s case this was just likely more of the same idiotic incompetence that has marked his tenure but it served the purpose of sending an alert to the Rove psychological SWAT team that immediately flew into action to work on pounding out the talking points that could once again elevate George W. Bush to stature of the man that stood on top of the rubble of the WTC with a bullhorn while the smell of rotting flesh hung in the New York City air mingling with the fetid musk of Rove’s own ambition.

Airports went into full panic mode. Any sane society would have used far more discretion in putting the out the news but in the empire that is Bushland they just threw the bloody chunks of meat into the feeding pit prior to dusk when full spectrum dominance of the news cycle for at least 24 hours and with any luck the entire weekend would be ensured. The renewed push for the latest re-launch of 9/11 would completely blow away any serious coverage of the civil war in Iraq, the Israeli murdering of Palestinian children with American bombs, the growing hissing sound coming from the housing bubble and the smackdown of DLC kingpin Joe Lieberman by the increasingly aggressive bloggers who are kicking the living fuck out of the MSM cocktail party pundits. Flights were cancelled, airports are jammed with stranded travelers and all liquids and gels are being confiscated from passengers. Note to Rush Limbaugh, you had better chuck that tube of KY Jelly into a wastebasket before passing through security if you plan on visiting the Dominican Republic again this week in order to have sex with poverty stricken third world persons forced into prostitution. Another ugly public incident may dethrone you from being the self- proclaimed champion of values with “talent on loan from God” that you would probably gladly swap for the ability to get an erection without the little blue pill.

The utterly worthless sacks of shit in Congress sought to redeem themselves for their most pathetic tenure during which only coming to the rescue of poor Terri Schiavo was a sufficient reason for them to move with any sense of urgency interrupted their vacations today to run for the nearest cameras in front of which they would issue their rhetoric and sanctimonious statements in well prepared sound bytes. They pandered and pontificated and waved the flag tarring each other as traitors or terrorist collaborators and thanking God and Karl Rove for the fortuitously timely change of subjects with the all out terrorism onslaught by the Republicans, the oligarchy and their state controlled media today as they sought to regain the initiative.

Now call me a cynic but I just watched the movie V For Vendetta over the weekend and this is amazingly similar to the rhetoric of the fascist chancellor Adam Sutler as his repressive rule was beginning to crumble under the inconvenient truths that facilitate totalitarianism:

“I want this country to realize that we stand on the edge of oblivion. I want everyone to remember why they need us!”

Incidentally I hope that all free thinking Americans will see this movie now that it is on DVD, it’s a good sign that it was selling like hotcakes at my local Wal Mart last week.

We have come a long way since 9/11 and today is unequivocal proof of just how far so. Now nothing even has to fucking blow up in order to cause a mass panic, a sensationalist media spectacle and an opportunity for politicians and pundits alike to make hay. The pathetically timorous, fearful, sheeplike drones who watch far too much television revert to their basest primal instincts of cowering in abject horror, quivering and whimpering for protection from their strong daddy leader. The bewildered herd are no more capable of controlling their innermost dread than Pavlov’s dogs were able to keep from salivating when they heard their master’s bells.

Rove has this down to a science now and his fat ass is atop the bell tower pulling the cords with all of his might.

One more thing about ‘The Tingler’ the host could kill it by screaming and releasing the FEAR once and for all and therefore destroying the destructive parasitical creature.

Yesterday’s appearance of Al Quaeda honcho Ayman Al-Zawahiri (Robin to Bin Laden’s Batman) in a yet to be authenticated video clip aired on Al Jazeera had all of the usual trademarks: the backdrop of rock cave or canyon, Islamic fundamentalist religious garb, an assault weapon at his side as a prop and fortuitous timing. The clip just happened to pop up at a time when the Bush administration hydra was regenerating, riding high coming off of a week of fawning mainstream press coverage over the pork laden horsetrading of a corrupt one party legislature that brutally rammed through Bush priority legislation including gun industry friendly immunity from product liability, baseball steroidgate news, resurgent missing Aruba teen coverage, giant panda bear news and space shuttle stories that completely knocked traitors Karl Rove and Scooter Libby out of the headlines. Now suddenly more bad news from Bush’s war threatened to slow the momentum. American marines in Iraq were becoming corpses in an increasingly bloody quagmire. 44 officially announced dead in the last 10 days was taking a bit of the bloom off of the chaff blossom that King George disappeared into on his way to yet another extended vacation on the phony Crawford, TX ranch where he spends more time on the taxpayer dole than any other chief executive in history.

Enter Al-Zawahiri. These Quaeda dudes just happen to pop up at the darndest of times, all fortuitously beneficial to periods of public discontent with the administration or ugly news that it considers inconvenient to the political agenda. Didn’t Osama himself just happen to emerge from the batcave looking tanned and rested only four days prior to last years election? Such coincidence may cause people to talk. Dubya was certainly using the occasion to talk, albeit mostly in a rambling and unintelligible manner (which he typically does whenever not reading from a teleprompter or taking audio cues from a back mounted communication device) from Crawford Ranch where he launched into a belicose diatribe to remind Americans that we are in a war to the death with the terrorists, after all, these are the guys who attacked us on 9-11 because they hate our prosperous lifestyle and the egalatarian democratic system in which we live. Strong Daddy, the protector was back!

Recent terror attacks in London and Egypt had the administration frantically trying to find an Al Quaeda connection, anything to resuscitate the specter of terror that has worked so well in using as a bludgeon of the American spirit so as to impose their radical fascist doctrine upon society, as Herr Goering said, “It works the same in any country”. The Bushie ship was taking on water due to the exposure of Rove, Libby and still to be named others in the treasonous Plame outing and terrorism has always been the ace in the hole to be played as the ultimate trump card at the most critical moment. The Al-Zawahiri video, while lacking the ability to send the nation into a much desired total lockdown where dissent would be quashed through extreme enforcement of the USAPATRIOT act certainly buys a bit of time for a workable strategy to be mapped out to distract attention for the looting of the treasury, the gutting of the constitution, the ascent of the ruling class and the rise of the theocracy.

Perhaps one day history will look upon the criminal Bush administration for its infamous crowning achievement, turning the United States of America (formerly known as the land of the free and home of the brave) into a nation of quivering, quaking, craven cowards and flag waving leg pissers. A free floating dread is maintained by melding entertainment with propaganda as evident by the popular FOX series 24 where there is always a loose nuke or other WMD in the hands of Islamic extremists seeking to destroy the American way of life. Phantom menaces the like of the all powerul Al-Zarquawi plot to turn the Iraq charnel pit into a staging ground for a war against ‘democracy’ drawing ‘terrorists’ from across the middle east to wage jihad against U.S. forces (giving the right wing media another great canard: we are fighting them over there so we don’t have to fight them here) and to pull off daring escapes the likes of which belong in cliffhanger action movies just as his imminent capture looms, and he is free to loose his malevolence another day. I am increasingly suspicious that the dreaded Al-Zarquawi does not even exist and is just another ficticious super villian created by pentagon propaganda mills bent on peddling their illicit war to tv nation as though it another season of 24.

These days people jump at shadows and see ‘terrorists’ seeking to destroy the holy sanctimony of the American way of life in every dark skinned person and facilitators of the enemy in every citizenwho dares to question the morality of Bush’s war or the fanatic zeal of his rubber stamp congress and bureaucrats who seek to repudiate over two hundred years of constitutional freedoms. These are freedoms that have been paid for on the installment plan by each generation whose young died in a foreign war, shedding their precious blood for ‘democracy’. Now for political expedience and the advancement of a fascist agenda the sacrifices of the brave ones are not only ignored but in an ultimate disgrace to their legacy, are cynically used by those usurpers of democracy who cower behind the stars and stripes and use bill of rights as a shield from which to launch attacks on others seeking to utilize their own civil liberties by standing up to the domestic terrorists in our own government and corporate America who relentlessly attack the patriotism of those questioniong any that are not a part of their particular militant status quo, be it the elitists at the top of the oligarchy, the Wall Street investment bankers, the insane, doomsday cult ‘christian’ fundamentalists or the corporate masters of energy and the military industrial complex.

Americans have for the most part been brainwashed by incessant nationalist propaganda distributed by a compliant state controlled media, rendered ignorant by those seeking to misrepresent our national history and heritage, pitted against each other so the uber-capitalists and free market fanatics can continue to wage relentless class warfare against the working people through the exportation of our jobs to low cost third world cesspools for the maximization of shareholder wealth, mortgage the future of our children by amassing unprecedented levels of foreign debt, money that will one day have to be paid back at a time when the scoundrels who have used abortion and gay marriage as a ruse to dupe people into putting their children to bed cold and hungry in order to empower those who would seek to further lay waste to the prosperity for all that was at one time, not long ago an American birthright. These people have crippled what was once the American Dream, a concept that is now on life support, they are coming to pull the plug now, hiding under the guise of phantoms and seeking to exploit FEAR in order to finish the job.

Nothing is a more useful tool than fear. Fear will distract the American sheeple from both the increasingly unpopular move to defraud the public on our nation’s longtime, successful retirement programs as well as from the news that Video News Releases (VNR’s) which are slickly produced pieces of advocacy ads produced by public relations firms that resemble actual news broadcasts are being utilized with increasing frequency by the criminally dishonest Bush administration in foisting their radical agenda off on a terrified and dumbed down public and that the usage of these slick infomercials have been decried by the GAO (Government Accounting Office) as the misuse of taxpayer dollars to fund illicit propaganda which is prohibited. If Tom Ridge’s kindergarten level homeland security color threat level chart were still in use it would likely be blinking red today.

Goering was right. It is our national shame that the GOP party strategists are so cynical and ruthlessly calculating that they freely use the techiques of his Nazi regime’s playbook and nothing is more shameful than a populace that is so ignorant of history and terrifed of the present that they allow it to happen.
