Alex Jones Pimps Phony Race War

Alex Jones, the proprietor of Infowars.com, a man who I have had serious reservations over for awhile now but due to the concept of finding an occasional diamond in a mountain of manure I have largely refrainied from critcizing is over the line. Mr. Jones, an influential online radio host, documentary producer and bombastic self-purported thruth sayer despite his failure to ever call out the Texas Oil Nazis, the Koch family, the Council For Foreign Policy or the John Birch Society on his syndicated show has now began to promote a dangerous meme. I speak of the ridiculous and inflammatory jihad against the Robert Rodriguez film Machete which the morons over at Infowars are calling out as an instigation for a race war. This is what happens when those that have been subjected to dehumanization, deligitimization and demagogy over a prolonged period like Hispanics finally counterattack. The brown menace has been the bread and butter for Jones and a large portion of his listeners for years now, it is painful to have to wade through the global warming denial, whacked out and tired conspiracy theories like flouride in the water, gun grabber paranoia and the incessant race baiting on Jones’s show to hear the guests who actually have something worth a damn to say yet are shut out of saying it anywhere else.

While I have in the past defended Jones and his affiliation with a long list of CNP contributors such as Doctor Stan Monteith despite serious reservations while taking holy hell from my former allies on the left, a bunch of in denial, politically correct and feckless toads who are in their own way every bit as bad as their more virulent right-winger counterparts. Michael Ruppert, author of Crossing the Rubicon and Collapse pegs the pathetic excuse for what passes as the American left as: “…the most delusional, ineffective, and compromised political worm ball I have ever experienced, past and present” in speaking as one who has now left it for good I find little to argue with Ruppert about. The caveat though is that there are a lot of decent, good intentioned people there who remain friends despite my disagreements with them. It is my hope and opinion that ideologues will one day be able set aside their preconceived notions of a perfect society where there is no hate, a world without war and a utopian communist rule by the workers (when all that communism is is just another group of thieves, sadists and perverts using the power of the state to steal and murder) and just realize that human nature is inherently bad and that there are one hell of a lot more bad people out there who will pick the meat from their bones in a second if it suits their own needs.

Alex Jones and his operation are now exposing themselves as the wolves roving amongst the sheep despite the ongoing falsehoods of waging war against tyranny and corruption and anyone who is a listener should boycott the program over this latest shrill rhetoric. We have very serious problems in this country today regarding real concerns about a rising tide of violence that has already thanks to the demagogues on the right become a cold civil war. Jones and his more refined and famous counterpart (who he is quite obviously jealous of) Glenn Beck have done their damned level best to create a climate of hatred, fear and animosity and using the constant race-baiting black propaganda to do it. Where did all of those obscene images of the infamous Obama Joker come from? The Alex Jones show, that’s where. And this farcical and ridiculous attempt to manufacture fake outrage to fool his audience into buying the reverse psychological bullshit of the race war that he and his ilk have spent years ginning up as typical lard-assed Texan troglodytes is as beyond the pale as it is ludicrous.

The Christian white majority that has ruled this country and presided over the rapid decline and strip mining of the economy that could never have occurred without their foul stupidity, their meanness, greed and inability to turn their backs on superstition and mass murder will soon be a minority. The coming demographic shift is imminent and irreversable and pigs like Jones and his ilk would rather have blood flowing in the streets than to simply accept the inevitable and try to work towards fighting against the real tyranny – corporatism and the military industrial complex and the unwinnable, bankrupting illegal wars of destruction. It is fitting though that the white man is getting eased out, at least it is more humane this time than when they slaughtered the original indigenous inhabitants of what would come to be known as The Homeland.

Here is the new bootleg video for Robert Rodriguez’s Machete that has the right wing filth having shit hemmorhages today. Scored from this website – be forewarned the Memory Hole attendants at YouTube are flushing this wonderful little piece of film away by the second. On the heels of the Phoenix Suns brilliant in your face rebuke of Arizona’s new Naziesque ‘show your papers’ abomination of a law by showing up for last night’s NBA playoff game in LOS SUNS uniforms this is bound to send a shiver up the deformed spines of the chickenhawk phony patriots and the GOP co-opted scumbagger movement. Intersting concept for a change, let the REAL Americans start to take the fight to the fascist pigs on the right, nice to see that is finally beginning to dawn on many that the only way to deal with fascists is to destroy them.

The trailer actually came from the Rodriguez-Tarantino flick Grindhouse which was a mixed bag, Planet Terror was great but Death Proof was slow moving and a bit long although Kurt Russell’s character was outstanding, the soundtrack and the carchase was awesome but the best part of the entire thing was the Machete trailer at the beginning. Nice to see this finally being made into a full length movie and pushing back against the racist filth. Arizona is a bone dry shithole full of cactus plants, rattlesnakes crazy ass right wingers (not that there is much of a difference) and a lot of interesting rock formations but the politics are only slightly to the left of Hitler. It would be nice to see Machete going after the cowardly charlatan John McCain who made propaganda videos for the communists during Nam or Sheriff Joe Arpaio…sooner or later all of them will pick the wrong Mexican to fuck with.

The American fascist right, the scumbaggers and their ilk were even enough to make Barry Goldwater want to puke as he was revulsed at the mutation of conservatism that was birthed during the Reagan years.

The foul mouthed, weasel eyed little prick Rahm Emanuel slammed down his jackboot resoundingly on the Sunday morning bloviation circuit and decreed that there will be no prosecution of the war criminals from the Bush administration for their engaging in torture. Hell, the gangster Emanuel – a danger to America that must be reigned in – even flippantly compared this week’s release of the torture manuals as something was basically irrelevant and that the information could be found – and I shit you not…in the New York Review of Books. Here is a piece of the transcript from his ever smarmy former Clinton administration crony George Stephanopoulos’s show that shit eyes Emanuel appeared on Sunday morning:

EMANUEL: It’s kind of a — let me say this. One of the reasons the president was willing to let this information out was that already the information was out. So if they’re saying that you basically have exposed something, it’s been written. Go get the New York Review of Books. It’s there.

So the notion that somehow, we’re exposing something — it’s already been out. In fact, President Bush let — allowed — let it — allowed a lot of this information out. So the notion that somehow this all of a sudden is a game changer doesn’t take cognizance of the fact that it’s already in the system and in the public domain. Therefore, it’s not new. So the notion that that is something we’ve built in — it’s already been there.

Number two, it’s one of the key tools Al Qaida has used for recruitment. There has been a net cost to America. By changing the way America is seen in the world, which means banning this technique and practice, we have actually stopped them and prevented them from using it as a rallying cry.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Final quick question. The president has ruled out prosecutions for CIA officials who believed they were following the law. Does he believe that the officials who devised the policies should be immune from prosecution?

EMANUEL: What he believes is, look, as you saw in that statement he wrote, and I would just take a step back. He came up with this and he worked on this for about four weeks, wrote that statement Wednesday night, after he made his decision, and dictated what he wanted to see. And Thursday morning, I saw him in the office, he was still editing it.

He believes that people in good faith were operating with the guidance they were provided. They shouldn’t be prosecuted.

STEPHANOPOULOS: What about those who devised policy?

EMANUEL: Yes, but those who devised policy, he believes that they were — should not be prosecuted either, and that’s not the place that we go — as he said in that letter, and I would really recommend people look at the full statement — not the letter, the statement — in that second paragraph, “this is not a time for retribution.” It’s time for reflection. It’s not a time to use our energy and our time in looking back and any sense of anger and retribution.

While I have been early on the record with my criticism of the incoming Obama administration (Hell, it would be the utmost in hypocrisy in not holding him to the same standards I held Bush to although the sycophantic O-bots would disagree) for what at first appeared to be a backdoor Clinton restoration. The very early escalation of the war in Afghanistan was bad enough, the ongoing capitulation to Republican Nazis out of some insane fantasy of bipartisan ship was worse, then it took an even more outrageous turn when it became apparent that the Wall Street pigs would find their troughs full of taxpayer loot under Summers and Geithner and now has become something much more dark and sinister with the refusal to restore the law and punish the torturers. I can certainly understand that slimy little cocksucker Emanuel’s reluctance to adhere to international law, his dual citizenship certainly doesn’t compel him to act in any manner that would potentially draw attention to participation of Israeli intelligence in criminal acts conducted under the blanket of the bogus war on terror. A former IDF man and son of a militant Zionist terrorist couldn’t possibly be expected to set a precedent that may legitimize international outrage over Israeli war crimes including killing babies and any sort of Obama led attempt to restore a sense of morality could come back to bite a pack of war criminals in the ass.

Now I am obliged to also note that one of those who are guilty of war crimes – at least according to the Spanish court that had considered indictments of the Bush Six is one certain filthy little neocon rat named Douglas J. Feith, a member of the Richard Perle-Bibi Netanyahu report on carving out a nice chunk of Israeli Lebensraum (never mind the brutality and body count) that was entitled A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm as well as one of the little dark elves that toiled in Cheney and Rummy’s notorious propaganda chop shop the Office Of Special Plans that lied us into the Middle East wars of aggression. Feith’s daddy, Dalk was a member of the extremist Betar youth movement that was a precursor to the Likud. It is really quite impossible to take any sort of serious look at the American human rights abuses and war atrocities of the new American century without taking into account the longtime corrosive moral degradation that comes from being the handmaiden to the rogue Zionist realm of dark and bloody oppression.

Then there was yesterday’s ridiculous and obviously planned sideshow of envoys walking out of the U.N. anti-racism conference when the ‘New Hitler’ Mahmoud Ahmadinejad dared to call that racist genocidal shithole Israel a racist state that practices genocide. As Orwell once said, “in a time of universal deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act” and god knows we sure as shit can’t handle the truth in lemming land. A further note on the dog and pony stunt at the U.N. racism conference (the exalted champion of human rights and TORTURE that is the USA was crudely bullied into not attending by the usual vermin) is that the sainted Elie Wiesel was among the leaders and who came out and called for the jailing of Ahmadinejad. In all sympathy for Wiesel, a survivor of the Nazi horrors in the death camps the constant invocation of The Holocaust as blanket justification to out Nazi the fucking Nazis in murder, torture, terror and violence is bullshit and he knows it. I certainly didn’t intend for this to be an anti-Israel rant but since I am on the topic I also would like to opine that America’s transformation into a police/torture state could never have occurred without that fascist goon colony as a blueprint. The intimidation and perception management apparatus that Israel has implemented here is something that is both wondrous to behold and monstrous at the same time. The war on terror used as a post 9/11 excuse to justify the transformation was greeted with glee by the real New Hitler Bibi Netanyu who openly stated that 9/11 was good for Israel. It has become common practice to use the Israeli model of the hyping of horror to justify even more horror and repression and with Rahm Emanuel as Batman to Obama’s Robin we haven’t seen anything yet. A Brief Interlude: In Jack’s Country

I mean, what the fuck is up with the goddamned torture by insects? That is something so macabre that it is out of a Dr. Phibes flick and would be hard to believe if not for the history of MKULTRA and other diabolical torture and mind control programs underwritten by the American taxpayer. Sick motherfuckers these neocon bastards are, I mean if there is any justice (and that is a fantasy) then the likes of David Addington, John Yoo, Douggie Feith and that Federalist Society Nazi and now Federal Judge Jay Bybee then they would be made to endure a fitting punishment: death by scaphism. I can understand if this is too much for the squeamish but it is the least that these pricks deserve:

While the filthy torturers have been allowed the ideological cover of cracking the skulls, busting the spleens and waterboarding only suspected ‘terrorists’ it will be very soon that people who are outspoken, patriotic Americans will become increasingly tempting targets for a state run amok. I have always maintained that the torture was being beta tested for the day that it will be turned on political dissidents and there is nothing on earth that will convince me otherwise.

When looking at today’s social and political trends it is fairly easy to extrapolate forward several years and when taking into consideration our new style fascist bent as well as the desire of theocrats to roll back the clock to the good old days of the Inquisition and along with an abundant supply of desperate, destitute, dumbed down, reality television addicted zombies and it could only be a matter of time until some cable televisioni network smash hit reality show will be American Torquemada where any influential government critic could become the featured guest. It would be a huge ratings pull for sweeps week.

America needs to scream now and scream loudly in unified righteous outrage in order to stop this decline into despotic barbarism. Silence only increases the chances that you will be screaming much louder if it is ever you who finds yourself strapped to the torture table.

Cultivating the Lone Nut

The meat of the matter is finally getting into the mainstream courtesy of the pimp of globalism that is the damned librul New York Times’ Thomas Friedman. In an astonishing column this week Friedman came right out and addressed the climate of viciousness and hate that certain elements of the far right are fomenting at their teabagger balls and compared it to the savage sort of societal hate that was present in God’s chosen land before Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin was murdered for daring to threaten the Zionist genocide machine with such a simpering, wimpy thing as peace. That is exactly what the jackbooted pigfuckers who march in the army of Glenn Beck and jack themselves off dry over pictures of pinhead populist Sarah Palin stand for – they want Obama to be terminated with extreme prejudice. The overflowing toilets of the teabagger insurrections are teeming with virulent racism, lunacy, desperation and moral depravity. There is sooner or later some freak that will take matters into his own hands and decide to take out Obama, count on it and it is equally likely that deep in the bowels of the national security state or more likely some private intelligence corporation that plans are already being hatched, shooters are being trained, scenarios gamed and the lone nut of choice surveilled and set up to be the patsy.

Friedman’s column entitled Where Did ‘We’ Go was instantly pounced on by the legions of fascist Republican maggots like house nigger Michael Steele who dismissed the writer as a “nut job”, a token stooge like Steele or Clarence Thomas are always willing to fetch the water for the massas and it is a testament towards the GOP’s long, ugly slouch towards Nazism that slugs like he can frolick in the slime trail. I was in Israel interviewing Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin just before he was assassinated in 1995. We had a beer in his office. He needed one. I remember the ugly mood in Israel then — a mood in which extreme right-wing settlers and politicians were doing all they could to delegitimize Rabin, who was committed to trading land for peace as part of the Oslo accords. They questioned his authority. They accused him of treason. They created pictures depicting him as a Nazi SS officer, and they shouted death threats at rallies. His political opponents winked at it all.

And in so doing they created a poisonous political environment that was interpreted by one right-wing Jewish nationalist as a license to kill Rabin — he must have heard, “God will be on your side” — and so he did.

Others have already remarked on this analogy, but I want to add my voice because the parallels to Israel then and America today turn my stomach: I have no problem with any of the substantive criticism of President Obama from the right or left. But something very dangerous is happening. Criticism from the far right has begun tipping over into delegitimation and creating the same kind of climate here that existed in Israel on the eve of the Rabin assassination.

What kind of madness is it that someone would create a poll on Facebook asking respondents, “Should Obama be killed?” The choices were: “No, Maybe, Yes, and Yes if he cuts my health care.” The Secret Service is now investigating. I hope they put the jerk in jail and throw away the key because this is exactly what was being done to Rabin.

I am certain that there are already Obama death pools with much money being thrown into the kitty at the right wing bund meetings that are commonplace now, this thing has just been allowed to get too far out of hand and the corporatist media has abetted it to the point that if and when Obama is assassinated then they should be charged as co-conspirators. The levels of animosity in America due to the massive thefts of the protected Wall Street looters, the ongoing fear that has seeped into every crevice since the false flag ‘terrorist’ attacks of 9/11, the ruination of lives by a corrupt political system that trancends partisanship and is hellbent on sucking the blood from the unborn children of a hopeless future and the need for a scapegoat has allowed the most sociopathic thugs to affix the horns upon the head of the Pope of Hope. When the health care ‘reform’ allows mandated extractions of more money from the poor to feed the insurance industry tapeworm with the full power of the state as the enforcer comes the roiling cauldron will boil over.

They shall be his crown of thorns when the motherfucker’s that are the bane of this society shit out the lone nut that is necessary and the official day of crucifixion finally arrives.

The sleazy, subversive campaign to incite some demented loser to actually go out and take a shot at President Obama continues. As with JFK the fascist forces that really run this country are working desperately at setting into place conditions to mount another ‘intervention’ against one who threatens their war machine, their empire, their God given ability to loot and plunder with masturbatory glee. The above Pat Oliphant cartoon is brilliant in its audacity at calling it out as it is with the filthy Rupert Murdoch’s FOX News being the chief force in instigating a dupe to start to plan an assassination (which will of course be used as cover for the REAL plot that is likely being hatched in the darkest bowels of the institutions of the shadow government now). It is all so much like those days of Camelot interruptus, the Obama Joker poster is a modern day copy of the now infamous Bircher JFK Wanted For Treason posters only updated for modern moron society by cribbing from pop culture.

The warning signs are ominous, ammunition shortages are at a record as angry white dumbasses arm themselves to the teeth for the coming race war against ACORN and Obama’s secret army and did you see…..why the nigger bastard was sitting within FEET of Moammar Qadaffi at the UN, you know, the UN, the ones who are going to carry out the implementation of the NWO, the one world government and the eugenics programs that will kill Christian white babies and rip God away from history. There is massive anger and unrest in Murka today and it’s not getting any better, each and every lie by the pundits and their whores in DC to prop up their bailed out stock market casino only exacerbates the fury as the Liliputiuns realize that trickle down economics only means that they are once again being pissed on by Gulliver.

This movement, due to the fecklessness of the left, the selling out by the Raht Emanuel wing of the Democrat party of the antiwar movement and the ongoing betrayal of labor only ensures that the victims of looter capitalism are ripe for the picking and the fascist element of this rotten empire of avarice and stinking viscera is running the harvest. I refer to my favorite blogger for a few comments on these folks, Glenn Greenwald from Glenn Beck and Left-Right Confusion:

Far more interesting than Beck himself is the increasingly futile effort to classify the protest movement to which he has connected himself. Here, too, confusion reigns. In part, this is due to the fact that these “tea party” and “9/12” protests are composed of factions with wildly divergent views about most everything. From paleoconservatives to Ron-Paul-libertarians to LaRouchians to Confederacy-loving, race-driven Southerners to Christianist social conservatives to single-issue fanatics (abortion, guns, gays) to standard Limbaugh-following, Bush-loving Republicans, these protests are an incoherent mishmash without any cohesive view other than: “Barack Obama is bad.” There are unquestionably some highly noxious elements in these groups, but they are far from homogeneous. Many of these people despised the Bush-led GOP and many of them loved it.

Add to all of that the fact that this anti-Obama sentiment is being exploited by run-of-the-mill GOP operatives who have no objective other than to undermine Democrats and return the Republicans to power — manifestly not the goal of many of the protesters — and it’s impossible to define what this movement is or what is driving it. In many ways, its leadership (both organizationally and in the media) is fundamentally at odds with the participants. How can people who cheered on the Bush/Cheney administration and who want to re-install GOP leaders in power (i.e., Fox News, Limbaugh, the right-wing blogosphere, GOP House members) possibly make common cause in any coherent way with those who are in favor of limited federal government power, reduced debt, privacy, and Constitutional protections — all the things on which the GOP relentlessly waged war for years? In one important sense, the “tea party” movement is similar to the Obama campaign for “change”: it stays sufficiently vague and unspecific to enable everyone to read into what they want, so that people with fundamentally irreconcilable views believe they’re part of the same movement.

But all that said, there are some identifiable — and plainly valid — underlying causes to these protests that are neither Republican nor Democratic, or even left or right. That’s when conventional political language ceases to be useful.

Is opposition to the Wall Street bailout (supported by both parties’ establishments) left or right? How about the view that Washington is inherently corrupt and beholden to the richest corporate interests and banks which, through lobbyist influence and vast financial contributions, own and control our political system? Is hostility towards Beltway elites liberal or conservative? Is opposition to the Surveillance State and endless expansions of federal police powers a view of liberals (who vehemently opposed such measures during the Bush era but now sometimes support or at least tolerate them) or conservatives (some of whom — the Ron Paul faction — objected just as vigorously, and naturally oppose such things regardless of who is in power as transgressions of the proper limits of government)? Liberals during the Bush era continuously complained about the doubling of the national debt, a central concern of many of these “tea party” protesters. Is the belief that Washington politicians are destroying the economic security of the middle class, while the rich grow richer, a liberal or conservative view? Opposition to endless wars and bankruptcy-inducing imperial policy generally finds as much expression among certain quarters on the Right as it does on the Left.

It’s a pity that the ones who are out there who could be swayed into joining a REAL populist movement that in any sane society would be dragging Wall Street bankers from their ivory towers and hanging them in the streets is so easily co-opted by demagogues and their well paid stooges. In America after multiple coup d’etats (the Kennedy assassination, 9/11), the creation of the National Security State to serve as an enforcer for the oligarchy and the gutting of the real left, the labor left, the socialist left we have allowed the piss reeking miscreants of the extreme right to drag out their soapboxes and lay the ground work for the coming civil war. American will be killing American in order to distract and protect the money power, the gutters will be filled with blood and the looting spree will be completed come hell or high water.

The pigs in Pittsburgh at the G20 have implemented a state of lockdown in the Iron Fist City, even if they were inclined to do so you won’t see a teabagger or Becker within a hundred miles of this gathering of globalists protected by a military lockdown. No, they are too busy out hoarding bullets and plotting to take down the Manchurian Candidate, goddammit…..can’t anybody even unnerstan that he ain’t one of us????? As General Stan McChrystal has his intransigence printed on the front page of the Washington Post to prevent the pulling out of the already lost and phony war in Afghanistan by this latest administration it brings to mind the animosity festering in that den of war criminals, The Pentagon that has haunted the building like a malevolent spirit since that Communist Kennedy bailed out on the Bay of Pigs and caved in to Kruschev.

Now late August in his month of blistering hatred, Ted Kennedy goes in the ground tomorrow, by Sunday the Blue Dogs will be lining up to piss on his grave. The vicious offensive by Astroturf groups that was spliced together with neo Confederates, white supremacists, domestic terrorists like Randall Terry and full blown American Nazis on health care town hall meetings has been an astounding success in driving a spike through any meaningful sort of health care reform. The deals have been cut, the propagandists have earned every penny of their millions for serving as a protection racket for the elite, the public option is dead and the entire sordid mess is soon to be administered last rites. It’s been a month of foulness that hangs heavy in the air, you can breath it in, smell the growing anger, the hate is so thick that it seeps into your pores. Soylent Green is made out of grandma, death panels, eugenics, Stalinism in stars and stripes, they are going to abort the babies and Obama will enslave the white race in labor camps where they will work to pay slave reparations. Were Herr Hitler and Herr Goebbels alive today they would marvel at how much more sophisticated and refined that their model has evolved and developed, God and Glenn Beck willing there will soon be pogroms in the streets, blood in the gutters and then librul huntin’ season will be announced from on high by that doped up and batshit crazy fat man in the EIB Network bunker who brags about having talent on loan from the almighty yet who can’t get an erection without pharmaceutical assistance.

When the definitive account of the decline and fall of the American civilization is one day put together by a future historian it will no doubt include much on how a large segment of a country was driven mad by a decades long saturation bombing of fascist indoctrination and swill peddled by Republican party operatives and hate mongers who were able to convince a certain authority worshipping demographic block to foreswear their own economic self-interests and become shock troops for a corrupt and amoral overclass. The values of propaganda and mind control to socially engineer the masses really gained traction with the ideas of Edward Bernays, the overly ambitious nephew of Sigmund Freud who curried favor with the looter class and became their most influential mind molder. I would refer readers to Adam Curtis’ excellent documentary for the BBC The Century of the Self, and please pass it around. Bernays would go on to be a very good teacher of the technique to none other than Joseph Goebbels who was a huge fan and a model as were many early industrialists and eugenicists to the various leaders of the Nazi regime however that is a story for another time. The control of the American mind was critical for the long slouch into outright fascism and nobody did it better than those who demonized the communists in order to terrorize the populace into support for the illegal wars of conquest and imperialism.

With the end of WW II presenting a great opportunity for the hated New Deal programs of the class traitor Roosevelt the CIA was formed as the enforcement arm of Wall Street and would engage in secret wars both abroad and at home against the very concept of a liberal, egalitarian and just society. The efforts would result in the smashing of the real American left under the jackboot of McCarthyism and the nurturing of a mean spirited, exceptionalist, white nationalist creed as embodied by John Wayne, Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan and which would one day metastasize into the culture of right-wing sewage that has 2009 America on the brink of a hot civil war. I am not going to go into the history of all of this now as I choose to leave it for another day, the only intention of my even mentioning it was for context. The level of hostility, racism, gay baiting, red baiting and insurrection pimping has reached an apex during this August as a result of the health care town hall invasions by outraged mobs, many of the attackers are the same detestable losers who flocked to Sarah Palin rallies last fall to call for Barack Obama’s assassination and rail against his secret Muslim background and purported plan to grab the guns and annihilate the white race.

But I digress…

Nowhere have the swine on the right been more vindictive than in manufacturing phantoms, in distorting reality and filtering it through their fully owned media prism to discredit the feckless opposition, the Vichy Democrats of Harry Reid who now no longer has to defend his failure to get anything done with a 60 seat majority now that Ted Kennedy is dead. Awash in the electronic vomit of the last few days when every cowardly fascist bitch and bastard has been flogging the corpse of the last Kennedy brother is a very sleazy little psyop, the exact type that these pigs are notable for. Earlier this week, the office of the Colorado Democratic Party headquarters in Denver was vandalized and certain elements of the liberal and progressive community onine were too quick (this time anyway) in shooting from the hip and blaming it on right-wing animals of the sort who have been raging across the country ala the Sturmabteilung. Not that similar acts aren’t the fault of the Republican brownshirts (note the defacement of this sign by vandals and any good cop knows that whenever a crime occurs that the first place to look for the perp is with the usual suspects) but this time the bloggers and others were wrong. Dead wrong and the well oiled machine that is the fascist fifth column was ready to pounce and declare it a false flag operation undertaken by the left to discredit their goon squads….as if there were any honor amongst those assclowns.

The putrid belching of right-wing outrage over the recent vandalizing of the Denver Democratic Party headquarters is stunning in both its mendacity and organization, you see, nobody plays the outraged victim card better than the fascist Republicans. There are no bigger tyrants when they are in power and no bigger crybabies when they are not, the entire movement is nothing more than a cacaphony of contrived grievances against a sweeping liberal conspiracy that does not now and never has existed. It was of absolutely no help though then that progressives were quick to label the breaking of the windows as another escalation of right-wing mayhem, one radio host Bob Kincaid even went so far as to invoke Kristallnacht.

Not that this sort of action in the climate that has been created by a party that long ago ceased to represent America and embraced a new fascism didn’t have tea baggers and town hall terrorists written all over it but the facts must be considered no matter that a pattern is repeated. To Kincaid’s credit he fully understands the dangerous nature of the foul shock troops of corporate America, he is an activist in the hot zone fighting the battle against mountaintop removal and this video is indicative of the sort of meanness that can be conjured up when moneyed interests are threatened. But this time he and the others were wrong and the full force of the fascists was ready to pounce and to seize the day to invoke their own bogeymen and phantoms of the mythical far left, just like they did in Seattle during the WTO protests back in ’99. The truth is that anything even remotely to the left of the right-center must be destroyed and destroyed with extreme prejudice.

The vandalism of the Denver Democrat office as it turns out was allegedly done by a transgender activist who blogs under the name Ariel Attack and who happened to work on helping to get Democrats elected back during the election. Now I do not know this particular activist, I had never even heard of her until this shitstorm in a teapot was whipped up by the GOP operatives so I am not going to attempt to speculate on motives (especially since this has not been decided in a court of law as to whether Ariel Attack even did it) other than to note that the LGBT community has a right to be angry over the betrayal by the Obama administration, a long slow stab in the back that began when that filthy, bigoted pig of a false prophet Rick Warren was invited to give the invocation during Obama’s coronation. That sort of thing really is a slap in the face to a group whose support was instumental until they were discarded.

As one who has been a member of the antiwar movement I totally understand being sold out by Democrats and there is a growing unrest out there that the Obama White House is desperately trying to quash lest a full blown revolt of the base occur. On reading this story I must say that some of the comments from the virulent rats on the right on what Ariel Attack is going to face in jail – especially rape and their masturbatory glee at transcribing their sick fantasies makes me disgusted to be an American. In this society it has become acceptable that our overfilled, for profit prison gulags have rape rooms every bit the equal of the big bad Saddam’s and our national obsession with punishment and torture are shameful in a civilized society. As Dostoyevsky once wrote “The degree of civilization in a society can be judged by entering its prisons” and we live in a land were brutality, rape and institutionalized sadism are the standards.

Of course the pigman weighed in with his offering to dittohead dope addicts on the so called false flag, mocking Ariel Attack: “Now, I don’t know if this was an addadictomy transgender or a chopadickoffamy transgender”. I must admit that I find the Republican, Birther, Deather, Teabagger, dead ender obsession with dicks to be rather mystifying in that their hatred of gays, lesbians and transgender Americans is so strident as to influence others to commit acts of violence (like Matthew Sheppard’s sadistic killers), dare I say that it’s positively Freudian and there are actual studies that back me up. I am sure that everyone remembers the days of the great Ken Starr blowjob inquisition when the the ultimate goal of the freaks was NOT to impeach and remove Clinton but to get him to drop trou in court and show Mr. Wiggley because after all, the unimpeachable testimony of that trailer park slut Paula Jones had vividly described Bubba’s member in lurid detail as being somehow deformed or otherwise ‘unique’. It’s ironic that so many of them end up becoming so warped by self loathing directed outwardly that when it finally finds an outlet it is in child molestation, violence and the lurid and sleazy extramarital affairs that they so denounce from their pulpits and bund halls. Jesus didn’t talk much about sex, could be that was all left behind in the early years of his mysterious life before he appeared as if beamed down from outer space in his thirties and threatening the corrupt moneychangers. He did however have much to say about hypocrites though and there is a serious hypocrisy in the morbid belief that when Jesus V.2 does come back to wreak his vengeance that a lot of holy rollers will be flying through they skies dirty nasty nekkid to their great reward.

He is thrice-divorced (so much for the sanctity of marriage), not only was doctor shopping and eating mass quantities of Vicodin and Oxycontin but sent his maid out to score for him (so much for the railing against crackheads) is a die hard racist (a necessity to be a Repiglican) and was busted along with the freaks who were responsible for giving us Jack Bauer (America’s favorite Nazi) coming back from the notorious sex tourist mecca in the Dominican Republic with an illegal bottle of Viagra in his luggage (was he fucking little boys or little girls?) that were it not for the rigged courts would have resulted in his drug violation being revoked and his sweaty, corpulent ass being thrown in prison where he belongs. Oh and the big patriotic man was also a draft dodger like so many of the other Republican chickenshits, he got out because he had a cyst on his ass and it’s long since crawled up his spinal column into his cranium where it set up shop.

Other than Limbaugh the pigman, the August anarchy in the town halls has been facilitated by the rest of the corporate protection racket payroll cable television Nazis and groups like the uber lobbyist tax chiseler Dick Armey’s Orwellian sounding Freedomworks. There is of course the immensely popular Glenn Beck, an increasingly unstable babbling rabble-rouser who seems to have the most effect on the average American half-wit. His FOX program is a masterpiece theatre of how to destabilize a country from within by inciting an angry army of heavily armed fifth columnists. Beck is an interesting case, he was plucked from obscurity out of the Tampa Bay market where he specialized in emceeing ‘big eater contests’ to be the moonfaced spokesman for post 9/11 fascism. In an interesting side story he is a former alcoholic whose family has a history of mental disorders including multiple suicides (trivia tidbit: Karl Rove’s mother also killed herself, driving out to the edge of the desert and gassing herself in a car) so I it would hardly be too awfully surprising if Herr Beck does the full Howard Beale and actually blows his brains out on the air someday – it would like the exploding head in Scanners and would go fucking viral on You Tube! With any luck he can induce his cult following to do likewise, it’d be the greatest mass suicide since Jonestown and would go one hell of a a long ways towards getting our national rat infestation problem under control.

Michelle Maglalang (aka Malkin) is another of the more hideous inciters of violence and even has a brand new book Culture of Corruption that is rocketing up the charts courtesy of the same reich wing bulk buying that lands every other amateurish version of Mein Kampf on the bestseller list (hint – look for the little dagger) where it is given away to dangerous freaks like David Adkisson who then go out and kill liberals. Maglalang became known for her support of U.S. internment camps for Muslims in the aftermath of the Big Wedding and like the rest of the house propagandists plays to the fears of the brown menace in railing against illegal immigration. Ironic in that she was at one time the subject of rumors (never substantiated) on the internet that actually accused her of being an anchor baby herself. Hell, I was in the Philippines a few times back during my Navy days, for all that I know I could be her daddy.

I could continue naming names but why bother? They are all diseased and punched out with cookie cutters from the same rolled slab of shit. All that I can say is that once they have their little revolution courtesy of the secessionists and plotters to take over the government that show up at the town halls looking like the deranged assholes that they are and order is restored that all the propagandists will be herded up by whoever is left and made to stand in the dock just like Julius Streicher did at Nuremberg.

The right wing slime machine has now chosen as a target the blog Queers Against Obama since it is easy pickings and panders to the vilest homophobic derangement of the red state fascist base. In another alarming sign of the coming crackdown on free speech and classifying of blogs as anarchist, terrorist or subversive it is this blog, where Ariel Attack happened to be a regular that is being targeted as an example. Hell, I’m going to go on the record here that I have spoken to the founder of Queers Against Obama on several occasions on an internet radio show that I am a regular on, he also happens to post on a few blogs that I frequent and I can attest that he does not seem to be any sort of threat to anyone. He’s just a pissed off activist who is able to see through Obama’s phony bullshit act and as with many gay people who were used and abused by this latest flim flam man and then thrown under the bus when the votes were no longer needed. Far from the wild revolutionary anarchist hellbent on the violent over throw of the government (unlike Beck’s psychotic minions) that the blogswarmers and reich wing media are trying to sell as their latest painted up fake devil. He is actually a very well educated individual which makes it two strikes against from the degenerate fascist right scum.

The blog, much like my own blogs and many others maintained by those of us who are more activist and choose to rage against the machine rather than line up to eat shit behind the rest of the lemmings certainly has incendiary rhetoric but let’s just get a little perspective here – we are pretty much voices in the wilderness, too small to be even bothered with until the vicious right-wing ratfuckers need to make an example of someone. The schoolyard bully mentality of the fascist right (along with the co-opted O Bots on the pathetic excuse that passes for the left) is dangerously predatory, stupid and relentless – I would suspect that the malodorous gray goo that is the brain of a pederast functions the same way. I would advise those of use who are renegades to take a stand against the savage attacks against QAO because as the great wisdom dispensed by Pastor Niemöller during the most pitch black of days in late 1930’s Germany:

The reason that we find ourselves today in a decaying society ravaged by terminal sloth, dumbness and a need for scapegoats is in no small part the fault of a media that long ago abrogated it’s constitutional responsibility to ensure that an informed populace would serve as a necessary check on systemic corruption. When news became a for profit commodity the charlatans, cheats and schemers saw an opportunity to exploit and in turning the media into a 24/7 sleaze machine populated by big haired bimbos with thousand yard stares reciting nonsense off of teleprompters and vicious demagogues and hate mongers like Limbaugh and his ilk.

Whatever happened in Denver and why, while it is being spun by the fascist noisemakers who have turned August into a roiling cauldron of filth and hate is more of an illustration at just how much that the Obama administration has betrayed the party base. While the GOP and conniving swine like Newt Gingrich give their knuckle dragging base nothing but shovels of bloody red meat and then send them forth to harangue, disrupt and threaten the democratic process by descending on health care town hall meetings like flesh eating zombies the new ‘liberal’ Obama administration under the stewardship of Raht Emanuel is happy to use the base to mobilize to win elections but when the rubber meets the road it’s nothing but more of the same catering to corporate interests and finance industry plunderers. I would also like to note that Cindy Sheehan has been protesting at Martha’s Vineyard against the wars that Obama has not only inherited but escalated. To this point there is absolutely zero media coverage, stunning when you consider the back of camera fitted vultures that were present at George W. Bush’s Crawford dude ranch.

The growing anger towards the Obama administration is understandable with liberals and progressives, specifically the GBLT community, organized labor, civil libertarians and especially the antiwar movement. For a man who ran promising change the only change has been chump change, once again we’ve been had by a silver-tongued devil preaching renewal, no surprise given Obama’s stated admiration of Ronald Reagan, the ultimate product as president….that was until November 2008. The great Australian journalist and filmmaker John Pilger summed it up perfectly in his piece Obama’s 100 days – the mad men did well from which I excerpt:

In fact, he had repeatedly backed Bush’s warmongering and its congressional funding. Many Americans also believed he was the heir to Martin Luther King’s legacy of anti-colonialism. Yet if Obama had a theme at all, apart from the vacuous “Change you can believe in”, it was the renewal of America as a dominant, avaricious bully. “We will be the most powerful,” he often declared.

Perhaps the Obama brand’s most effective advertising was supplied free of charge by those journalists who, as courtiers of a rapacious system, promote shining knights. They depoliticised him, spinning his platitudinous speeches as “adroit literary creations, rich, like those Doric columns, with allusion…” (Charlotte Higgins in the Guardian). The San Francisco Chronicle columnist Mark Morford wrote: “Many spiritually advanced people I know… identify Obama as a Lightworker, that rare kind of attuned being who… can actually help usher in a new way of being on the planet.”

Since our reality television show president entered the White House the absence of any sort of meaningful change has been stunning, the audacity of the one who preached hope and is now exposed as just another snake oil salesman blindsided many of those who worked so hard to ensure that he would be the man to turn the page on the horrors of the Bush-Cheney era. The marketing campaign that washed the Pope of Hope into power as is now apparent just more of the same high-powered public relations and image making that corporate America has so successfully utilized for so long to sell us all crap that we didn’t need for money that we didn’t have. It was magnificent in that it relied so heavily on the votes of uninformed youth who were neither well informed nor politically active and who would just one time go out and do their civic duty in punching the ticket of the Michael Jordan of the new American century. They would then go back to their video games, their bling-bling and their blissfully ignorant lives. The great moderate middle, having exorcised the devil Bush could then shuffle back into their prostrate positions in front of their televisions and go back to sleep again.

The betrayals continue to mount even as the ongoing fascist plot to overthrow the legitimately (although deceptively) elected government continue to breed operatives like cockroaches. The Obamessiah has succeeded in leading his Wall Street masters to the promised land of milk and honey and is going back to shepherd the insurance industry racketeers.

How dare anybody expect a few crumbs be scattered in front of their miserable hovels on the way.

Breaking news of the latest right-winger incited to commit acts of violence in support of the most virulent political party since the Nazis. A Kansas abortion doctor was gunned down in cold blood today in a Wichita, Kansas church, just another example of how these religious fanatics that dare to call themselves Christians would make Jesus puke were he return to earth tomorrow – then the same bastards would crucify his liberal ass. Here we have yet another example of the sort of mayhem that unstable, armed-to-the teeth freaks are capable of when their buttons are pushed by the malignant filth the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and the rest of the house propagandists for the American fascist state. Nothing is sacred to these miscreants, murdering their whole families and then committing suicide is commonplace, the same houses of worship that they claim to be places of sanctity are now legitimate shooting galleries, shit some lunatic right-winger not long ago dressed up as Santa Claus and massacred a houseful of former relatives including children. A terminally diseased political philosophy breeds this type of scum and they should all be subject to euthanasia for the good of society. Even more despicable is the way that the corporate media play right into it, giving credibility to the cowardly rhetoric of reverse discrimination that has been bandied about by the red-assed right. Perhaps the worst aspect of what appears to be a long and drawn out melodrama by the titans of truth who brought us all the O.J. Simpson circus, Michael Jackson’s ongoing saga over a flurry of allegations of pedophilia, Natalee Holloway, Jon Benet and the amazing adventures of Laci and the fetus is that a career reprobate like Newton LeRoy Gingrich is given one ounce of credibility. Gingrich is a fiend, a serial adulterer, a liar, a cheat, a pathological degenerate with the psychological makeup of a pederast and a charlatan whose Herculean ego is the embodiment of short man syndrome.

The proclivity of Gingrich to rebuild his political career from the ashes of embarrassment and failure in a Nixonian fashion has been spayed across cable television ‘news’ and the rapidly collapsing under the weight of their own bullshit newspaper industry is an affront to the intelligence of America. Whoops, better strike that last comment, considering that we live in a burgeoning idiocracy were trash TV is king and the lepers bathe in the electronic stream of foulness as though they were lepers swimming in the waters of Lourdes I certainly don’t mean to give the average American moron too much credit. Gingrich calls Sotomayer a “Latina woman racist”. What the fuck? Can’t we just flush down this rotten turd once and for all? What a horse’s ass! Knowing the laws, I would never call for the assassination of a public figure but were I to be a Republican that has no such qualms about these things I would love to see that phony hairpiece that adorns Gingrich’s pathologically horny, conniving, demon-infested dome nailed to a fencepost someplace – feed the body to the pigs, who the fuck really cares as long as he is gone. He can usually be located in a FOX ‘News” studio – a target rich environment for anyone who may be sincere about cleaning up America and downsizing the fascist quotient. If I were to win Powerball this weekend there would certainly be less worthy things to use the money for than posting a bounty on that little douchebag, normally you can just call the Orkin man when the rats are massing but eliminating a world class, anti-American swine with a soapbox as dangerous as this would take some serious coin. The foul mouthed, weasel eyed little prick Rahm Emanuel slammed down his jackboot resoundingly on the Sunday morning bloviation circuit and decreed that there will be no prosecution of the war criminals from the Bush administration for their engaging in torture. Hell, the gangster Emanuel – a danger to America that must be reigned in – even flippantly compared this week’s release of the torture manuals as something was basically irrelevant and that the information could be found – and I shit you not…in the New York Review of Books. Here is a piece of the transcript from his ever smarmy former Clinton administration crony George Stephanopoulos’s show that shit eyes Emanuel appeared on Sunday morning:

EMANUEL: It’s kind of a — let me say this. One of the reasons the president was willing to let this information out was that already the information was out. So if they’re saying that you basically have exposed something, it’s been written. Go get the New York Review of Books. It’s there.

So the notion that somehow, we’re exposing something — it’s already been out. In fact, President Bush let — allowed — let it — allowed a lot of this information out. So the notion that somehow this all of a sudden is a game changer doesn’t take cognizance of the fact that it’s already in the system and in the public domain. Therefore, it’s not new. So the notion that that is something we’ve built in — it’s already been there.

Number two, it’s one of the key tools Al Qaida has used for recruitment. There has been a net cost to America. By changing the way America is seen in the world, which means banning this technique and practice, we have actually stopped them and prevented them from using it as a rallying cry.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Final quick question. The president has ruled out prosecutions for CIA officials who believed they were following the law. Does he believe that the officials who devised the policies should be immune from prosecution?

EMANUEL: What he believes is, look, as you saw in that statement he wrote, and I would just take a step back. He came up with this and he worked on this for about four weeks, wrote that statement Wednesday night, after he made his decision, and dictated what he wanted to see. And Thursday morning, I saw him in the office, he was still editing it.

He believes that people in good faith were operating with the guidance they were provided. They shouldn’t be prosecuted.

STEPHANOPOULOS: What about those who devised policy?

EMANUEL: Yes, but those who devised policy, he believes that they were — should not be prosecuted either, and that’s not the place that we go — as he said in that letter, and I would really recommend people look at the full statement — not the letter, the statement — in that second paragraph, “this is not a time for retribution.” It’s time for reflection. It’s not a time to use our energy and our time in looking back and any sense of anger and retribution.

While I have been early on the record with my criticism of the incoming Obama administration (Hell, it would be the utmost in hypocrisy in not holding him to the same standards I held Bush to although the sycophantic O-bots would disagree) for what at first appeared to be a backdoor Clinton restoration. The very early escalation of the war in Afghanistan was bad enough, the ongoing capitulation to Republican Nazis out of some insane fantasy of bipartisan ship was worse, then it took an even more outrageous turn when it became apparent that the Wall Street pigs would find their troughs full of taxpayer loot under Summers and Geithner and now has become something much more dark and sinister with the refusal to restore the law and punish the torturers. I can certainly understand that slimy little cocksucker Emanuel’s reluctance to adhere to international law, his dual citizenship certainly doesn’t compel him to act in any manner that would potentially draw attention to participation of Israeli intelligence in criminal acts conducted under the blanket of the bogus war on terror. It is really quite impossible to take any sort of serious look at the American human rights abuses and war atrocities of the new American century without taking into account the longtime corrosive moral degradation that comes from being the handmaiden to the rogue Zionist realm of dark and bloody oppression.

As Orwell once said, “in a time of universal deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act” and god knows we sure as shit can’t handle the truth in lemming land. A further note on the dog and pony stunt at the U.N. racism conference (the exalted champion of human rights and TORTURE that is the USA was crudely bullied into not attending by the usual vermin) is that the sainted Elie Wiesel was among the leaders and who came out and called for the jailing of Ahmadinejad. In all sympathy for Wiesel, a survivor of the Nazi horrors in the death camps the constant invocation of The Holocaust as blanket justification to out Nazi the fucking Nazis in murder, torture, terror and violence is bullshit and he knows it. Having been fleeced by Bernie Madoff it is sad to see the Nobel Peace Prize laureate having to stoop to such cheapjack publicity stunts, were it not so dangerous to world peace it would be pitful.

I certainly didn’t intend for this to be an anti-Israel rant but since I am on the topic I also would like to opine that America’s transformation into a police/torture state could never have occurred without that fascist goon colony as a blueprint. The intimidation and perception management apparatus that Israel has implemented here is something that is both wondrous to behold and monstrous at the same time. The war on terror used as a post 9/11 excuse to justify the transformation was greeted with glee by the real New Hitler Bibi Netanyu who openly stated that 9/11 was good for Israel. It has become common practice to use the Israeli model of the hyping of horror to justify even more horror and repression and with Rahm Emanuel as Batman to Obama’s Robin we haven’t seen anything yet. A Brief Interlude: In Jack’s Country

I mean, what the fuck is up with the goddamned torture by insects? That is something so macabre that it is out of a Dr. Phibes flick and would be hard to believe if not for the history of MKULTRA and other diabolical torture and mind control programs underwritten by the American taxpayer. Sick motherfuckers these neocon bastards are, I mean if there is any justice (and that is a fantasy) then the likes of David Addington, John Yoo, Douggie Feith and that Federalist Society Nazi and now Federal Judge Jay Bybee then they would be made to endure a fitting punishment: death by scaphism. I can understand if this is too much for the squeamish but it is the least that these pricks deserve:

Scaphism, also known as the boats, was an ancient Persian method of execution designed to inflict torturous death. The name comes from the Greek word skaphe, meaning “scooped (or hollowed) out”.

This system is being preserved because despite whatever the new frontman for the empire might say to the contrary it is imperative that the ability to torture remain as one of the most kick ass clubs in the bag. While the filthy torturers have been allowed the ideological cover of cracking the skulls, busting the spleens and waterboarding only suspected ‘terrorists’ it will be very soon that people who are outspoken, patriotic Americans will become increasingly tempting targets for a state run amok. I have always maintained that the torture was being beta tested for the day that it will be turned on political dissidents and there is nothing on earth that will convince me otherwise.

When looking at today’s social and political trends it is fairly easy to extrapolate forward several years and when taking into consideration our new style fascist bent as well as the desire of theocrats to roll back the clock to the good old days of the Inquisition and along with an abundant supply of desperate, destitute, dumbed down, reality television addicted zombies and it could only be a matter of time until some cable televisioni network smash hit reality show will be American Torquemada where any influential government critic could become the featured guest. It would be a huge ratings pull for sweeps week.

America needs to scream now and scream loudly in unified righteous outrage in order to stop this decline into despotic barbarism. Silence only increases the chances that you will be screaming much louder if it is ever you who finds yourself strapped to the torture table.

Larry H. Miller, owner of the NBA’s Utah Jazz or more appropriately ‘team choke’ who also owns the once modestly named Larry H. Miller Megaplex is throwing down the gauntlet in true western style by refusing to allow the movie Brokeback Mountain from being shown at his theatre. The now renamed The Megaplex 17 at Jordan Commons is the grand Mormon Temple of Salt Lake City theatres and Miller now has a new claim to fame other than his frequent psychotic courtside tirades at his long underachieving team, opponents, referrees and fans. The theatre has violated the distributor’s agreement and outraged mainstream tolerant America by pulling director Ang Lee’s gay cowboy film from being screened. Cheapjack, jackbooted, little fuckstick fascist tyrants the likes of Miller are all too commonplace in George W. Bush’s America where spying and censorship are rapidly replacing mom and apple pie as national staples.

Gayle Ruzicka, president of the ultra conservative Utah Eagle Forum, a spinoff of the national reactionary organization of big haired nutball Phyllis Schlaffly (who has a personal axe to grind with gays given that her own son has a proclivity for swallowing the pork sword) lamely tried to turn it into an issue during an appearance on DLC shill Ed Schultz’s nationally syndicated radio show by defending Miller’s ban to outrage over the movies inclusion of adultery being a bad example and against the holy institution of marriage which is held in such high regard in Utah that some men have more wives than one. Ruzicka and Miller’s use of the good ole GOP chestnut of defense of marriage is as inept as Karl Malone’s defense of Michael Jordan in the NBA Finals when the Jazz gagged against the Chicago Bulls.

Any arguments based on so called ‘moral values’ are just more of the same biased, radical religious right horseshit only served up at a higher altitude. Despite the ban of Brokeback Mountain due to alleged concerns over the content and it’s effect on children, Miller had no problem whatsoever featuring the ultra kinky sadistic gore opus Hostel which despite a script featuring numerous intense scenes of graphic dismemberment as well as sadomasochistic bloody torture performed for the perverse sexual gratification of the wealthy elicited no similar outrage. What a great metaphor for the year of our lord 2006 where the rich are free to ruthlessly fuck and utterly destroy those who are trapped below them in the pecking order in an era of government sanctioned class warfare and perhaps that is the point that director Eli Roth and promoter Quentin Tarantino sought to make but it’s still a sick and exploitative goddamned film to show to morons whose cognitive abilities are barely of a sufficient level to allow them to understand the hidden moral messages of Road Runner cartoons. But then again, that’s the way that it always is with these Republican hypocrites isn’t it? A blow job in the White House is a national emergency while the cruel, sexually depraved torture of prisoners at Abu Ghraib Prison was greeted with a collective ho hum and described by some right wing propagandists as something no more serious than fraternity hazing and good ole boys just blowing off steam just like the fun loving types who tortured and murdered Matthew Shepard and Emmitt Till.

In the state of Utah it is a more than a bit ironic that gay bashing and discriminatory tactics are used to allegedly preserve the sanctity of the institution of marriage, after all this is the state were the partaking of the favors of multiple wives which would fall under any loose definition of sexually deviant behavior elsewhere is deemed to be acceptable and therefore is just another one of the great paradoxes of modern American society. Let’s see, the Mormon church denounces homosexuality but has branches that openly advocate and practice polygamy which is just another word for perversion, group sex and wife swapping. How conveniently contradictory that a love story between two men is taboo but that a man who just happens to engage in a wild orgy with his six wives who happen to be bi-sexual would be greeted with….nothing. There has always been a double standard regarding celluloid homosexual relationships when they involve lesbians.

Drawing raves from critics, Brokeback Mountain is an extremely well made film that is often described as a tender and tragic love story that just happens to feature two gay men who just happen to be cowboys, its biggest crime other than the portrayal of the normalcy and deeply human qualities of the characters is that it just happens to be anathema to the very core of a right wing strategy rooted in the systematic institutionalized scapegoating and degrading dehumanization of gays that is so necessary to the fulfillment of their ultimate end game. A guy named Hitler once made gay baiting a staple during the early days of the Nazi indoctrination of the German people, it would serve as a stepping stone on the way to the elimination of other more predominant and deeply hated groups once a precedent had been set, attacks on homosexuals were but one step down a road that led ultimately to the death camps, the wholesale slaughter of millions as well as the ruination of a nation and the damnation of its soul.

Gay people should not be objects of loathing nor targets of opportunistic political parties with fascist agendas. They are our co-workers, our friends and our family members and not convenient scapegoats who should be marginalized, targeted by hate crimes, organized pogroms or government sanctioned discrimination. The anti-gay bigotry that is used so deftly by the Republican party and New Christian Right is just another chapter in the long and sordid history of using a mutually shared trait to deprive a group of people of their human dignity.

What could be more threatening to the very kernel of the American frontier mystique that was built on the macho free riding, laconic, ass kicking cowboy archetype than a movie that smashes that mythic persona? Brokeback Mountain is seen by many of the denial based professional haters on the right as the most bitter assault on the phony John Wayne image of the USA yet as well as the biggest insult to American frontier mythology since Ozzy Osborne took a leak on the Alamo. Portraying cowboys as ruthless murders of Indian women and children may be borderline heresy to the great American concept of Manifest Destiny but to even dare to suggest that the same cowboys who butcher red people during the day just may be partaking in a bit of mutually consensual man on man sexual activity in those covered wagons during cold and lonely nights on the trail is outright apostasy.

The whole American western mythology ethos is being shaken to it’s very roots by Brokeback Mountain which may not be a bad thing in a country where the four horsemen of the apocalypse have for too long been swaggering about the world while dispensing summary justice frontier style and they look suspiciously similar to John Wayne, George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan and the Marlboro Man.
