Been awhile friends but the bad man is back, back with a vengeance and like the avenging spirit that was the famous Clint Eastwood role in High Plains Drifter I am getting ready to paint the town red. Red with pigs blood that is, of course in post-democracy America, in our all-seeing fascist surveillance society I speak in purely figurative terms, lest the midnight knock come and the jackboot of Homeland Security kick down my door. This is what it has come to, it’s nut-cuttin’ time, time to throw down, stand up, be counted and dispense with whatever passes for resistance in this electronically lobotomized lemming colony. Face it, things are never going to get better for the average person in Murka, the entrenched rot of corruption is too deep, can’t be easily cut out, the financial system lies in smoking ruins thanks to a gangster government and the failed political system that has facilitated it. The swine and swindlers will continue to bleed this place until there is no blood left and then it will run in the streets, likely when the fascists and their propaganda pimps begin calling for the inevitable pogroms. Any moves to somehow ameliorate the suffering, take for instance yesterday’s surprise announcement of the tapping of the oil reserves to stop the psychotic speculators and their masturbatory greed will be harshly and immediately attacked by a corporate media machine determined to keep the game rigged at all costs. Enjoy today because today is the best day that you are going to have for the rest of your lives, each subsequent day will be a gradual erosion of living standards, whatever remains of your rights and one toehold deeper into the abyss. This is the new American birthright for to be an American is to be a fat bovine creature, swaddled in stars ‘n stripes ensconced in front of the precious television that provides the sweet, sweet spike for tens of millions of addicts.

I have been away from it all for awhile, just not much inclination to write much. The ‘death’ of our Emanuel Goldstein, Osama bin Laden felt like a good place to end it all, the closing of the circle of the big lie of 9/11 that I have railed against for the past six years since I have been doing this. I certainly did consider it and did so very seriously, there are other projects that I would like to do, maybe some fiction, a book, other forms of media but the situation is too grave and there are too few fighters. I have made the journey since mid-2005 when I first started to blog, primarily to keep my sanity as those were still the worst days of the Bushreich before the abhorrent little twit was exposed as the impotent borderline retard that he always was by the wrath of nature combined with capitalist greed that was Hurricane Katrina. Bush never was quite the same after that and it was hard to believe that the peak of the fascist right-wing freak show that was the siege over the still breathing corpse of one Terri Schiavo had only occurred a few months prior. Bush and Cheney continued to cut a category five swath of destruction through the country and the world but it was slowed and the ouster of the criminally psychotic Tom DeLay from power jammed up the machine albeit briefly. It was my outrage against the right-wing scum, the traitors that manifested itself in the Republican party that drove me to raging against the machine in the first place.

I originally identified with the left (or the putrid excuse that passes for it these days), still having some idiotic and naive sort of faith in the Democratic party being able to provide some semblance of a return to normalcy were it to regain political power. While I am and always have been a registered independent I bought into the lesser of two evils meme, especially when the greater of the evils was just a notch below Satan. I broke into blogging at a number of liberal sites, quickly learning my lesson that intolerance and censorship was not the sole domain of the right when I ran afoul of the turds at Daily Kos, when it all comes down to it, and I have said this before Markos Moulitsas-Zuniga, who built a perfect mousetrip, somehow being trotted out as the voice of progressives and liberals is when it all comes down to it about as left as Stalin and his rotten blog is a cesspool of idiotic political correctness, elitism and bad writing. I was run out of there very quickly as have been many others with the ability to transcend the bullshit and think for themselves. I bounced around on a number of lesser blogs as a regular contributor, one a fairly prominent one run by a self-proclaimed Democrat who wears her party alliance on her sleeve. I had a chance to become more widely read had I hewed to just doing political attacks and screeds on Republican Nazis but early on I understood that the entire fucking system was rotten, I was too much of a renegade to be mainstream. I made other alliances, the people who I worked with were passionate and devoted but few were able to grasp the bigger picture, with the election of Obama in 2008 there was no longer that common enemy and the ‘left’, basking in their imagined triumph rapidly began to fragment into the collection of competing identity based groups that they are in order to divvy up the spoils. They did not as I warned continue to wage war against the fascists and they came to embrace the ongoing murders of civilians, brown-skinned, non-Christian ones as long as their tolerance for immorality was cloaked in humanitarian bullshit like women’s rights, they became cruise missile liberals. I officially made my split from them with my blistering goodbye entitled A Farewell to Arms: Why I Left ‘the Left’ from which I excerpt the following at length:

To HELL with the ‘left’! I am finished, done, disillusioned and over it, the divorce papers have been filed and are now finalized and I am not going back. As of this day, I will no longer allow myself to be affiliated or endorse the ‘left’ in any way, shape or form. So long folks, it was real and it was fun but in the end it was unfulfilling and dare I say, a waste of time and effort. Is this overly harsh? Perhaps it is but the break has to be made and it can no longer be put off. I assure you, this was no hasty decision but rather something that has been a slow and agonizing process, a steady drip…drip…drip.., like Chinese water torture and suddenly the mind goes, the spirit breaks and the ugly reality of the situation cannot be denied or disguised. So to all of my good friends on the left I wish you the very best but I am no longer one of you and maybe I never was, it was never dogma to me only a desire for some sort of social fairness and a fair shot but the American left being a shell of it’s former self with labor broken and the DLC corporatists having taken over the Democratic party it has been reduced to shills for the Democrats and squabbling identity groups each with an agenda that prevents any sort of unity necessary for a mass movement for real change. Sucks but that is just the way it has to be.

By choosing to focus on wedge culture war issues no matter how noble the cause may, be the ‘left’ has failed abysmally in only providing gasoline on the fire that is being ignited on the extreme right and this is going to be costly in impossible to overstate terms in the future as a new, ultra-virulent strain of cult of personality, anti-intellectual, Christian fascist vengeful malignancy percolates throughout this country. There is an ideologically driven cataclysm coming and it will have every bit the force of the Nazis, Stalinists or Khmer Rouge and the gutters will be filled with blood, the streets with violence and no guarantee of personal or family safety by the law or militarized police who will protect the wealthy and elites only while the shock troops hunt down liberals, gays and today’s Juden, the Muslims who have been so easily demonized by the Pentagon and the Zionists who seem to have reasserted an ugly but more subtle form of control with the newest blown out of proportion ‘terrorism’. The king of the Israeli fifth column in America, Senator Joseph Lieberman will soon be using his position as head of the Senate Heimat Security Committee to launch witch hunts and hold show trials which will rival those of Stalin and McCarthy and people like you and I will be accused of being ‘terrorist sympathaziers’, the propagand about white al Qaida has already been getting some mileage as the creeping cat feet of fascism march onwards. Just how important are social issues when the task of rolling back American fascism renders all else irrelevant?

Myself and others have warned about the triumphal premature celebrations in the defeat of the extreme right, electoral victories and half measures at silly centrist governance have allowed this vicious hydra to regenerate. The failure of the ‘left’ to generate the cohesiveness necessary in order to form a viable political mass movement and the embracement (no matter how tepid by some) of the corrupted Democratic party and the amateur that is Barack Obama has set up the dominoes perfectly for the perfect storm once the economic collapse finally does occur. The plethora of gay marriage iniatives in the early days of the insipid Obama administration smacked of a sort of arrogance among limousine liberals, as though the enemy had been vanquished and it was time to exact that revenge which would both terrible and satisfying in rolling back the dark ages iniatives or the Religious Right roundheads. But that focus provided cover for the rats that are the corporatists, banksters and lobbyists that rode into power tucked away inside Obama’s Trojan Horse and whose plunder and subsequent fall into public disfavor have driven Democrat and Obama’s poll ratings down faster than whaleshit sinking to the bottom of the sea and allowed the American fascists to regroup and now in the aftermath of the underwear bomber false flag, with the fear fresh anew the sheeple will tolerate ANY police state measures to protect their putrid little lives as they cower and submit.

I have a lot of friends on the left and I mean them no malice or insult in my breaking ranks, they are good people, probably better than I in that they are pure of heart and always seek to build a better society, to nurture and to foster love instead of hate. Sadly though, in the real world butterflies, zebras, moonbeams and fairy tales are just that, illusions when confronted with an enemy that recognizes no rules, decorum, compassion or fairness and when the time comes will happily leave liberals and progressives with only their eyes to cry with..if they are even that generous. You see, my friends never understood the nature of this war, and it is war and only those of staunch spirits, strong stomachs and the righteous tenacity to climb upon that wall and fight the bastards on their own terms are ultimately going to have a chance. As the ‘left’ is comprised today it can be dismissed, laughed at and generally ignored by the rotten bitches, bastards and corporations that run this system and that is exactly what Rahm Emanual, his sock puppet ‘boss’ and the rest of the establishment are doing, they are doing. Liberals and the ‘left’ have this view that ‘we are better than they are so we don’t have to stoop to their level’, but in the end they always lose.

As Nietzsche spoke of fighting monsters and warned of the abyss well it does look back but ultimately humanity is doomed to war, it is out nature and to deny that is the ultimate form of self denial. The best resistance against militarism, the police state and war is coming from the libertarian front, for example Justin Raimondo’s Antiwar.com, I also have long admired the Ron Paul movement for calls for ending the Federal Reserve although I have been more than a bit dismayed to see it so easily co-opted by the corporate teabaggers and the Dick Armey of Darkness, the Palinazis and the idiot buffoon racist Birthers and religious fanatic Birthers and so has one of the founders of the movement. There is however a good deal of misdirected but righteous anger out there that is too easily hijacked and misdirected into the fascist brigades that the ‘left’ has failed to take advantage of to bolster it’s power and rally around some sort of real cause rather than the agendas of identity groups seeking government action to redress a history of injustice.

I have always been an independent with views more compatible with the old left, the labor left and the intense focus on social issues in which the activists ignore basic economic fairness, antiwar, pro-civil liberties matters in order to waste energy tilting at windmills. Let’s face it, no matter how moral that the crusade for gay marriage may be (basically another civil rights fight to eliminate the sad fact that in 21st century America that there are still people who are treated as second class citizens and face institutionalized persecution) – it’s a loser with large demographic blocks that nothing short of a mass die out over a period of a few decades is going to resolve and while it sucks, it’s the truth, shit, millions of morons are ready to launch a civil war because the fucking President is black and until the numbers of these anachronisms are reduced America will always be defined by the hatred of the other, which of course will always be exploited for maximum political gain by fascists. The younger generations do not care about whether one is gay or straight or has a different skin color, they are far more tolerant and acceptable than their parents or grandparents but the reality is that as America is currently constituted this is a loser for the ‘left’ and energy would be better spent in fighting imperialism, economic royalism, a vast for profit prison gulag and a militarized police that is determined to keep it full.

Also, global warming (the carbon footprint is akin to a carbon jackboot stomping up and down on a human face while the speculators get richer than Midas), immigration ‘reform’ and the ugly sort of imperialist liberalism that supports more war, military spending and murder to promote pet causes such as women’s rights and other emotional based malarkey is just intolerable. The Empire is broke, women are oppressed by institutions within our own borders and the cycle of militarism will not be seriously challenged as long as there are cruise missile liberals determined to use force to be Team America global police. I saw an ugliness among too many liberals and progressives during the past summer’s Iranian uprising, the ‘Green Revolution’ not to be confused of course with ‘Green Shoots, or ‘Green Energy’ and the ‘left’s’ piling on the regime of the devil Ahmadinejad only served to reinforce the incessant neocon propaganda and Zionist right-wing warmongering that has the doomsday clock ticking towards World War III. In all liklihood, Israel will attack Iran at some point in the coming year, Obama’s infatuation with the phony war on terror will ensure that the U.S. is sucked in which will be catastrophic but now that the antiwar movement has been marginalized by the foulness that is the Democrat party, now that Cindy Sheehan has served her purpose and been unceremoniously dumped and now that the ‘left’ has once again failed to mobilize around any serious issue that has crossover appeal we are all helpless to stop it.

I will devote my energies to trying to assist whatever remains of the antiwar movement (which isn’t much after most of the larger groups were co-opted by the filthy corporatist Democrats and Raht Emanual), continue to support the abolishment (or at the least auditing) of the Federal Reserve, fight for a reigning in of excessive corporate power, rail against the abuses of civil liberties, the police state, torture and surveillance and the menace of globalization. In a sad land of ignorance and hostility that has institutionalized torture with about half the population being down with it just how long is it going to be until they actually start to torture the other half?

The ‘left’ is too fragmented and there are far too many internal squabbles to mount any sort of a counter-movement against this irrational, ignorant and mean army of darkness that is suckled at the teat of the imperialist warfare state and lives in a world of unreality fed by a lifetime of indoctrination to illusions and lies and I am getting off of that woebegone merry-go-round once and for all before it either kills me or drives me totally fucking batshit.

Loose the Rats: I remember once when I was in my early twenties, a certain restaurant that I had worked for had become so intolerable that there was a parting of the ways (mutual of course) regarding employment. Well, said restaurant naturally had a pretty high turnover rate so myself and a fellow former wage slave conspired one night over many a beer (and I must admit a bit of weed) to seek revenge against the owners. We would go in on a stealth mission and create a disturbance that would be guaran-fucking-teed to cause maximum chaos. So we went to a local pet shop and purchased two live rats which we smuggled in during peak hours in our backpacks and while we swilled a few beers in a booth in the back, ate chicken wings and were generally looked at as scum by our former co-worker wait staff we had a hard time not pissing our pants. Well, when we were finished, we paid our bills and let the rats out of the backpacks and just left the fucking place….we never knew what happened and that was the beauty of it. Maybe the rats caused a total scene and a mass evacuation and maybe business was forever wrecked for those satanic pricks who owned the goddamned place – somehow I doubt it because the damned place stayed in business. Perhaps though, the owners found the rats first before they ran off the paying customers and caused a pox of word of mouth advertising that was up there with the Bubonic Plague and changed their ways, I don’t know and shit, I really don’t know exactly were I am going with this little thread so I digress…..

Maybe the moral of the pet shop rats is that it was a shock that could have actually have been naïve enough to think that such a futile and stupid act would have changed hearts and minds but that was back in the 80’s when things were different and there was still some semblance of actual fucking sanity in this rotten shell of a country, back when it was STILL POSSIBLE to avoid the coming forced anal probes by militarized Darth Vader police goons in local shopping malls. Nothing that I was ever going to do on the left, much like loosing the rats on those miserable, skinflint, authoritarian pricks who ran that shithole of an eatery was going to do a damned thing to change anything or any body, it was just plaintive wails from planet shit directed at the choir…amen.

So to those on the ‘left’ who I have joined in battle with over the years only to realize that it is ultimately a futile struggle I say good luck and may your efforts bring fruit and some degree of satisfaction so long as they do not conflict with mine. I am going it alone from this point onward, bound by no loyalty to ideology, faction or any group, that only belongs to those who are allies the bigger fight at hand now. I would implore you who are able to transcend your past prejudices, ideals and indoctrinations to become a bit less dogmatic and much more pragmatic in reaching out to those who not only can be saved but who also are trying to break free from their own conditioning.

Granted it was a long excerpt but it pretty much expressed my feelings at the time, for better or worse I struck out on my own.  For some reason that I still can’t quite understand myself I thought that I could actually work at trying to salvage some of the wretches from the media creation that is the Tea Party, really just a collection of pissed off people with reasons to be pissed off but nowhere to go thanks to the abysmal failure of ‘the left’ in this country that was hijacked by cynical political operatives and deep-pocketed, tax chiseling plutocrats like the Koch Brothers. Being that a good amount of the pseudo-movement, other than the re-branded browshirts of the GOP base are remnants of what used to be the Ron Paul revolution, which due to the anti-interventionist, pro-civil liberties and anti-Federal Reserve stance of Dr. Paul I long had been sympathetic to despite my loathing of libertarian economic theory. I got into this thing, writing and raising hell out of the need to stop fascism at all costs so I have always been of the opinion that a progressive-libertarian alliance would be sufficient to slow the machine, there was enough common ground and the other things could be hashed out later on after the fascist cancer was cut out. I followed up “A Farewell to Arms” with another piece entitled In Defense of Joe Stack that ensured that the break with the ‘left’ would be permanent. It was about as subtle as the attack on Colonel Kurtz’s compound at the end of Apocalypse Now.

I tried to work with the disaffected and even reached out to my local Glenn Beck teabagger klavern to try to talk sense but it was useless, those people are just too far gone, to propagandized, too angry and too deeply infiltrated by the dead enders of the the Republican base and the Religious Right, there is nothing left of what used to be the Ron Paul movement, like the party itself all non-adherents to the Ayn Rand doctrine of “Fuck You I’m Rich” and the Neocon dogma of imperial conquest and the sanctimonious place on the planet for the wart on the ass of humanity that is fortress Israel any who don’t drink the Kool Aid have been ousted. So much for that Idea. I have only worked sparingly on writing over the past year and a half, largely out of a sense of total disillusion and the absence of any sort of organized resistance to the ongoing destruction of what remains of the country that I was born into.

But the lone wolf thing just doesn’t work that well, not when the economy continues to collapse, with an assist to a fanatical Republican party that will block any effort by the extremely disappointing Obama to mediate and somehow get people back to work. The GOP has long been a bastion of a certain fascism, at least since the end of World War II and the tracks of the oligarchs along with their descent into gangster capitalism through their affiliations with rescued Nazi war criminals, rogue intelligence networks, stone cold military psychopaths and organized crime are easily traceable for one who devotes a bit of time to the job. What is ongoing in America today is a textbook example of how the capitalist mafia, the CIA operates abroad, Robert Parry’s recent piece entitled The GOP’s CIA Playbook: Destabilize the Country to Sweep Back Into Power is a must read and I excerpt the following:

Modern Republicans have a simple approach to politics when they are not in the White House: Make America as ungovernable as possible by using almost any means available, from challenging the legitimacy of opponents to spreading lies and disinformation to sabotaging the economy.

Over the past four decades or so, the Republicans have simply not played by the old give-and-take rules of politics. Indeed, if one were to step back and assess this Republican approach, what you would see is something akin to how the CIA has destabilized target countries, especially those that seek to organize themselves in defiance of capitalist orthodoxy.

To stop this spread of “socialism,” nearly anything goes. Take, for example, Chile in the early 1970s when socialist President Salvador Allende won an election and took steps aimed at improving the conditions of the country’s poor.

Under the direction of President Richard Nixon and Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, the CIA was dispatched to engage in psychological warfare against Allende’s government and to make the Chilean economy “scream.”

U.S. intelligence agencies secretly sponsored Chilean news outlets, like the influential newspaper El Mercurio, and supported “populist” uprisings of truckers and housewives. On the economic front, the CIA coordinated efforts to starve the Chilean government of funds and to drive unemployment higher.

Worsening joblessness could then be spun by the CIA-financed news outlets as proof that Allende’s policies didn’t work and that the only choice for Chile was to scrap its social programs. When Allende compromised with the Right, that had the additional benefit of causing friction between him and some of his supporters who wanted even more radical change.

As Chile became increasingly ungovernable, the stage was set for the violent overthrow of Allende, the installation of a rightist dictatorship, and the imposition of “free-market” economics that directed more wealth and power to Chile’s rich and their American corporate backers.

Though the Allende case in Chile is perhaps the best known example of this intelligence strategy (because it was investigated by a Senate committee in the mid-1970s), the CIA has employed this approach frequently around the world. Sometimes the target government is removed without violence, although other times a bloody coup d’etat has been part of the mix.

Home to Roost

So, it is perhaps fitting that a comparable approach to politics would eventually come home to roost in the United States, even to the point that some of the propaganda funding comes from outside sources (think of Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s Washington Times and Australian media mogul Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp.)

Obviously, given the wealth of the American elites, the relative proportion of the propaganda funding is derived more domestically in the United States than it would be in a place like Chile (or some other unfortunate Third World country that has gotten on Washington’s bad side).

But the concept remains the same: Control as much as possible what the population gets to see and hear; create chaos for your opponent’s government, economically and politically; blame if for the mess; and establish in the minds of the voters that their only way out is to submit, that the pain will stop once your side is back in power.

Today’s Republicans have fully embraced this concept of political warfare, whereas the Democrats generally have tried to play by the old rules, acquiescing when Republicans are in office with the goal of “making government work,” even if the Republicans are setting the agenda.

Unlike the Democrats and the Left, the Republicans and the Right have prepared themselves for this battle, almost as if they are following a CIA training manual. They have invested tens of billions of dollars in a propaganda infrastructure that operates 24/7, year-round, to spot and exploit missteps by political enemies.

This vertically integrated media machine allows useful information to move quickly from a right-wing blog to talk radio to Fox News to the Wall Street Journal to conservative magazines and book publishing. Right-wing propagandists are well-trained and well-funded so they can be deployed to all manner of public outlets to hammer home the talking points.

It’s pretty simple to see that the Republican party, which IS by definition a terrorist organization is hellbent on letting it all burn, so intent are they at mobilizing their millions of haters to defend a system that quite simply is as much a failure as the Communism that they for the better part of a half-century used to justify their plunder of nations, drug trafficking and money laundering and racketeering scams. Now fully metastasized, the menace of full blown carnivorous capitalism has come home to feed, those who really run this lunatic funhouse will continue to exploit economic misery, racism and fear using their media messaging machine and Operation Gladio style entrenched stay behind network until Americans are in the streets killing each other while they continue to suck the blood from the dessicated carcass of what used to be a land of opportunity.  That day is coming, while our corporate media crawls around in the semen stained underpants of Anthony Weiner or peddles more tabloid pornography about dead children to the lemmings, electronically colonizing their brains the world is erupting outside of our borders, look at Greece, soon there will be a triggering event and the chaos will come home, progressives, liberals and non-politicized folks are going to have to make a choice, kill or be killed, it’s the law of the jungle and it has been embraced by those who run it. Plumb Mad Dog Mean: The system has failed and the day of reckoning is coming, best saddle up and get prepared lest you be destroyed by it, read some history on what happens when the thugs are unleashed. If you happen to have children ponder how you would like to see them raped in front of you, the last thing that you witness before your own murder. The armies of darkness are already connected and are awaiting their orders from their handlers on the right-wing propaganda machine, the real economic conditions continue to create misery and the always convenient scapegoats are produced.The time has come to cast aside any notions of being able to rationalize with these people because it isn’t going to happen. One could always flee the country, much like the Jews who could see the writing on the wall fled Nazi Germany before Hitler’s murder machine was operating at peak efficiency but that is expensive, prohibitive and let’s face it, the rest of the world, save the Muslim countries is under the control of the same type of elitist rich pigs that America is and the war machine is hellbent on destroying the Muslim world as surely as the American Indians were laid to waste to make room for expansionism and capitalist greed. The time to fight is now, no more fucking around, especially with the political process – it just doesn’t work!

Embracing a New Radicalism: The only way to fight back against the fascist endgame is to return to our past, prior to the “New Left” that arose out of the protest movements of the Sixties and that which to this day far too many continue to embrace despite it’s outdated model. There will be no more mass protests, the days of turning out into the streets is over, the right-wing has ensured that not only will there be no media coverage but their goons ala the scumbaggers are drooling over the prospect of being unleashed, like the Rockefellers of yore who bussed in murderous freaks to break strikes so will the front groups of Koch Industries and their ilk bus in vicious haters to bust up the hated libruls [sic]. Those who cling to a resurgence of that form of mass protest are as delusional as those who still believe that change can be affected at the ballot box, While there continue to be suckups, sycophants and self-infatuated groupies who continue to buy Brand Obama and the even worse Brand Democrat a return to the radicalism of old, rather than the sign carrying, keyboard thumping ineffective form of activism that exists on the pathetic remnants of the “professional left” today. It is not effective and shooting a few marbles from a slingshot is not going to put a dent in the Deathstar that is the American fascist capitalist infrastructure, it’s militarized police state, high-tech surveillance and disinformation machine and legions of trained activists and spokespeople. For what is needed, I would suggest listening to Chris Hedges, a man as reviled by the “professional left” and it’s venal gatekeepers like HBO’s Bill Maher and his ilk as he is by the mouth-breathing fascist droogs on the right. Hedges has always been a hero of mine and his work has continued to rise in order to address the threat that we face today. Hedges, who recently wrote a scathing book entitled The Death of the Liberal Class is taking his game to the next level, his recent work and speeches, like this one on The Myth of Human Progress are essential for those who are serious about surviving. Hedges addresses the rancid putrescence of the failed liberal establishment and doesn’t mince words:

We will be saved only with the birth of a new militant radicalism, one that defies all formal power structures including the Democratic party.

The failure of the liberal class whose role in society is designed to prevent unchecked assault by centralized power is discovering what happens when you tolerate the intolerant. Let hate speech pollute your airwaves, let corporations buy up your courts and state and federal legislative bodies, let the Christian religion be manipulated by charlatans to demonize Muslims, gays and intellectuals, discredit science, sanctify unfettered capitalism and become a source of personal enrichment, let unions wither under corporate assault, let social services and public education be gutted and stripped of funding, let Wall Street carry out fraud, deception and plunder with impunity and you roll out the welcome mat for fascism.

The liberal class and much of the left has busied itself with the toothless pursuits of inclusiveness, multi-culturalism, identity politics and tolerance.. a word Martin Luther King never used and forgot about the primacy of justice. We chatter about something called the American Dream now that the oligarchic elite have regained control of all of the levers of power that dream is being exposed as a cruel hoax and we are being shoved back into the cage. Slick public relations campaigns, the collapse of public education .. nearly a third of the country is illiterate or semi-literate…the rise of amoral politicians such as  Bill Clinton and Barack Obama who pose as liberals while selling their souls and betraying basic liberal and democratic principles for corporate money have left us largely defenseless.

The last vestiges of unionized in the public sector are reduced to protesting in states like Wisconsin for collective bargaining – in short the right to ask employers for fair working conditions. This shows how far labor and the country has deteriorated and it looks as though even this basic right to ask as well as raise money through union dues has at least for the moment been successfully revoked in Madison. The Democratic party and the remnants of organized labor steered passions in Wisconsin away from a general strike where workers should have gone to tepid attempts to recall legislators. The public debate meanwhile dominated by corporate controlled systems of information, ignores the steady impoverishment of the working class and absence of legal and regulatory mechanisms to prevent our reconfiguration into a neo-feudal society. The airwaves are saturated with good looking and charming corporate apologists. They ask us why public sector employees have benefits sneeringly called entitlements while non-unionized and working class people are denied and the argument is ingenious, it pits desperate worker against desperate worker in a mad scramble for scraps. It is of course the wrong question, why we should ask don’t working men and women have health insurance, pension plans, job protection and living wages and until we again speak in the language of open class warfare, grasping as those who went before us did, that the elite will always promote itself at our expense, we are doomed to a 21^st century serfdom. The elite with no check left on their greed and criminality are gorging on money, while they are slashing basic services, budgets for schools, fire fighters and assistance programs for children and the elderly so WE will pay for the fraud they committed when they wiped out 14 trillion dollars of housing wealth, wages and retirement savings.

Hedges is reviled by the same type of vapid, self-righteous cretins who I chose to disassociate myself from when I left ‘the left’, I refuse to be a “team player” in the “post-partisan era” and for those who would crucify one as myself on the cross of political correctness for my rhetorical flourishes – they can go and fuck themselves. I have been called everything: whack job, fascist, misogynist, Jew hater, homophobe, heretic and reactionary, coming from feckless weaklings with no stomach for the rough stuff I suppose that is a badge of honor. Being that I am now totally dispensing of all bullshit let it be known that first and foremost that I fucking hate everybody, spare me the pox of political correctness that is what drove me away from the butterflies, moonbeams, zebras and fairy tales crowd in the first place. Others should shun those who would negotiate with fascists who should be destroyed and tolerate the most intolerant in order to wear their high-hats, they would be arguing that “they are better than that” by not engaging those who wish to destroy them while they are in the cattle cars being trucked off to the gas chambers and forced labor camps.

So, it is with this that I now return to my roots, a rhetorical bomb-thrower hellbent on engaging and destroying the fascists, collateral damage be damned. Time to get plumb mad dog motherfucking mean because you don’t bring a protest sign to a knife fight.

The Big Chunks Float to the Top: The Time 100

Not that I would ever consider Time Magazine which is one of America’s preeminent mouthpieces for the status quo to be anything other than a credentialed propaganda organ but the latest issue is an abominable disgrace. The special double issue dated May 2, 2011 pays homage to the “World’s Most Influential People”, a who’s who of warmongers, fascists, lunatics, bigots, corporate stooges, media hacks and opportunistic shits that is truly astonishing to behold. While a smattering of individuals of moral character and some redeeming social value are thrown in, for example Joseph Stiglitz, one of the few economists who called the ongoing depression in advance and the besieged and soon to be murdered by the CIA or locked up in Gitmo and tortured six ways from Sunday Wikileaks founder Julian Assange they are few indeed and their inclusion among the pigs, crooks, thugs and bitches and bastards who are revered in mini hagiographies is more of a big middle finger – a true fuck you to the peasants.

This is some of the worst garbage conceivable but in a land where in true Orwellian style has collectively accepted the maxims that “freedom is slavery” and “war is peace” and the National Football League is bitching about a prolonged labor dispute that could postpone their shameless exploitation of the 9/11/2001 dead with a special tenth anniversary kickoff tribute to the American Reichstag Fire it is yet another sorry-assed example of a society that sucks and is damned proud of it.

His Highness Barack Obama – Or more precisely “Brand Obama”, “Obama.com” or “Judas Obama”. Never has one so disappointed so many in so little time. The shining beacon of transformational change to lead American out of the fetid dungeons of the Bush-Cheney torture state has proven to be even worse than his predecessors. Whether escalating the financially ruinous and immoral wars of aggression in Iraq, Afghanistan and dialing up drone strikes from afar in Pakistan the Pope of Hope is every bit the war freak and murderer that the office calls for. Obama has now thoroughly destroyed the economy to finish up the job started during the Bushreich, the appointment of Turbo Tax Timmy Geithner as a guardian to avaricious Wall Street interests and the reappointment of genocidal maniac Ben Bernanke as Federal Reserve Chairman should leave zero doubt as to whose side that Barry O. is truly on. As hardened criminals like Lloyd Blankfein of Goldman Sachs and his minions continue to loot with impunity Bernanke’s QE2 monetary policy to keep the casino going is contributing to a deadly upwards spike in food prices, fueling global unrest and ultimately starvation. One day Helicopter Ben will rank right up there with Mao, Pol Pot and Stalin when it comes to genocide by famine and Obama is down with it all. Say what you will about George W. Bush but at least he sent me $600.00. The corporate product in chief later weighs in with a piece of his own on Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords entitled “A Symbol of Civility” – quite an honor for someone who was shot in the head by a deranged gunman.

Hillary Rodham Clinton – The Secretary of State and the traveling saleswoman for U.S. imperialist policies. While much less obnoxious since the derailing of her Presidential ambitions Bubba’s better half radiated pure malevolence as she traipses the globe and ensures compliance or there will be war. Clinton along with Samantha Rice and the shrill harpy Susan Rice were instrumental in the latest unaffordable war in Libya. A few of the dubious achievements of Mrs. Rodham-Clinton was the leaked embassy cable showing that she ordered U.S. diplomats to spy on United Nations leaders (not that this didn’t occur under the Bush-Rove-Cheney Axis of Evil) and allowing retired CIA analyst Ray McGovern to be dragged away by goons and beaten up for standing up and turning his back on her during a speech where she was exalting freedom and democracy. Particularly embarrassed by the Wikileaks data dump Rodham-Clinton may personally administer the waterboarding of Julian Assange once he has been kidnapped and rendered into one of America’s secret torture black site prisons. 

John Boehner – Sadly the inclusion of Boehner, the orange-hued, chain-smoking, boozy Republican House Majority Leader is an improvement over say, Tom DeLay. While Tom of Texas was a ruthless bastard with an ideological agenda, an American Stalin who ruled with a relish for cruelty Boehner is strictly an “old school’ just plain corrupt politician. As well as a history of graft, lies and typically swinish behavior Boehner likes to go into these insanely over the top crying jags at the most opportune times. I would be hard pressed to think of a more nauseating spectacle than the unctuous fraud Bohner’s breaking into a blubbery jag of crocodile tears during any political debate nor a more hypocritical one, just think if the deposed Nancy Pelosi (who I am no fan of) would have broken down bawling and the attacks would be unrelenting.  Boehner’s act has always reminded me of that scene in the movie Used Cars where Toby the dog plays along with one of the lot lizard scams by playing dead to generate sympathy and guilt that would cause the prospective buyer to shell out money for the overpriced lemon that he would drive off the lot (the door fell off on the way out) – “that price is just too fucking high”! (I just had to slip that line in). Boner’s [sic] waterworks were right up there in terms of rank cynicism and in sneering insincerity as the tactics of any of the sleazeballs employed by the Fuchs Brothers on their competing lots and God knows in America there are ALWAYS buyers for that sort of lame horseshit – a land of suckers who breed like fucking rabbits and are ever proud to call themselves Republicans.

Paul Ryan – The neo-fascist Wisconsinite Bircher who is coming for your Medicare so that the real death panels can commence while the greedy pigs on Wall Street will be given the money to gamble with. The media fascination with the slimy little prick Ryan is just another example of just how much of a threat that the ruling class truly views the GOP co-opted Tea Party movement as. When featured in fawning front-page pieces in the Wall Street Journal the costumed clown army of pasty, fat, old white folks who are the true targets of scoundrels like Ryan and his ilk are the ultimate of useful idiots. In a true historical context the Tea Party is out protesting in FAVOR of the iron-fisted, tyranny of rule by the British Monarchy. Oh, and the homage to Ryan is written by none other than the extremist reactionary Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker who tabbed the rat-faced Ryan as “the Prophet of Republican Economics”.. you just couldn’t make shit like this up!

Charles and David Koch – After being outed as top financiers for the hostile fascist takeover of America the previously subterranean Koch Brothers have been working furiously to launch a public relations blitz for damage control. Their inclusion in the Top 100 is evidence of this but their images as some sort of misunderstood America loving patriots is about as dishonest and ridiculous as BP’s recent ad blitz featuring a parade of Louisiana residents inviting tourists to eat their contaminated shrimp.

General David Petraeus – None other than Defense Secretary Robert Gates contributed the gut-wrenching tribute to our very own General James Mattoon Scott. Nothing much needs to be said about Petraeus, the four-star bullshit artist who was pegged by his one time superior office Admiral James Fallon as an “ass-kissing little chickenshit”. King David is truly a disgrace to the uniform, for more in depth coverage see the Rolling Stone piece entitled King David’s War detailing how Petraeus cuts deals with murdering drug-lords as he promotes Surge II.

Joe Scarborough – That a guy who while a sitting congressman in Florida once had an ugly little inconvenience of a dead female intern being found in his office “morning Joe” has certainly carved out a place for himself that is very dear to the ruling elites is a textbook example of real American values.

Michelle Bachmann/Rush Limbaugh – The Minnesota moonbat Bachmann has replaced the deposed Sarah Palin as the leader of the wave of reactionary right-wing anti-intellectualism that is the equivalent of that of the Khmer Rouge and is the spokeswoman for the scumbagger mouthbreathers. The “conservatives delight” (of course there is nothing even remotely conservative about these fascists) is hailed by none other than that paragon of moral values Rush Limbaugh who claims to have “talent on loan from God” yet can’t achieve an erection without pharmaceutical assistance. While Glenn Beck was the sort of demagogue that would have made Der Sturmer proud it was the pigman whose pioneering rise as the voice of angry white male animosity poisoned the American heartland after Reagan fucked over the farmers and facilitated the early destruction of all that once made this county great. When Poppy Bush was riding high it was Limbaugh who he credited for his success, so much so that the diseased pig was invited to sleep overnight in the Lincoln Bedroom at the White Hose where he probably jacked off under the sheets.

Jamie Dimon – I have to say that I admire Time’s restraint here in honoring only one of the degenerate gamblers of Wall Street who have destroyed the economy and are still paying out millions in bonuses as the reassemble their toxic shit into more speculative instruments to finish the job. Only in America.

Arianna Huffington – Dubbed the Baroness of the blogosphere for her callous selling of her website Huffington Post (second only to the cyber den of iniquity of the great orange satan Markos Moulitsas-Zuniga’s Daily Kos as the most disingenuous and exploitative ‘liberal’ site) to corporate behemoth AOL for $315 million. You would figure that after a payday like that Der Baroness could scrounge up some change from her couch cushions to pay for the content that others contribute to the Huff Po but she exhibits the same sort of sneering sense of entitlement and disdain for those lower than her exalted status as Leona Helmsley. I must say that I consider it a badge of honor that in my six years as a blogger that I NEVER stooped to trying to get any of my work published at the Huffington Post.

Oprah Winfrey – Any serious honoring of the swine of American society would be incomplete without Oprah Inc. whose charismatic cult leader mass appeal could induce millions to eat a bowl of fresh dogshit on command. Oprah is the avatar of a colony of television lobotomized zombies who are slaves of the mind in Murka, as media critic Danny Schechter so aptly puts it “the more they watched, the less they knew”, if TV induced psychosis were a religion Oprah Winfrey would be its messiah.

Marine Le Pen – Daughter of uber-fascist Jean Marie Le Pen, the French counterpart to the U.S. Republican party when it comes to anti-gay, xenophopic, hatemongering anti-Semitic politics that are the bred and butter of leaders of the international klaven of Tea Baggers.

Benjamin Netanyahu – By definition every head of state is a war criminal, Bibi, the vicious and cunning overlord of the human rights abusing rogue state Israel whose mastery of the American fifth column of Christian Zionist extremists is truly a master of war.Now revving up for another incursion into Gaza that will be greeted with cheers by devotees of Israel’s off with their heads style of diplomacy.

Joe Biden – At least the picture of the veep didn’t have him with his nose embedded up Netanyahu’s ass. The piece, written by the ultra slimy and foul mouthed political hack Rahm Emanuel exalts Biden as “America’s Counselor in Chief” for the wonderful guidance that he has provided Obama during the third Bush term (or is it Clinton’s fifth?).

Noticeably absent was the 2009 Man of the Year Ben Bernanke, Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck or the Donald for that matter…

April Fools: The Tea Party Jumps the Shark

The gaggle of angry Americans suffering from collective insanity, willful ignorance and a raw and seething fury over the audacity of a black man being elected President are being thrown under the bus by their cynical Republican saviors. It was always ludicrous to the nth degree that the assclowns, haters, perverts, greedballs and rubber fetus crowd of the Republican base could hope that a re-branding along with the hijacking of a libertarian based pro-American values movement would end up as anything but a mockery. The other day when a few hundred (a generous count from eyewitnesses accounts) pasty white fat old people, a pack of costumed loons dressed up like Captain America or in the ridiculous colonial American garb gathered in the rain to listen to the rancid Rand Paul and moonbat Michelle Bachmann wail in ginned up outrage outside of Congress that the movement had truly jumped the shark. While the majority of the cretins don’t get it yet they are as radioactive as Fukashima and as they have slowly evolved into a gross parody of themselves the only aspiring politicians still attracted to the lamentable overly hyped Astroturf uprising are egomaniacs and charlatans like newly minted champion of the Birthers that is the aggravating and slimy parasite named Donald Trump. I can hardly wait until next year when the greatest freak show on the planet will descend upon the Tampa Bay area when the Republican National Convention comes to town. It’s gonna be the biggest magnet for the deranged this area has seen since the great angry hordes descended on Pinellas Park to gang rape the brain dead living corpse that was Terri Schiavo.

The teabaggers never would have been taken seriously to begin with were not the establishment plutocrats enamored with the idea of fielding their very own Sturmabteilung to bully, intimidate, harangue and mislead as they acted to put  the post-Bush disgraced GOP back into power. The Dick Armey of Darkness was an Operation Gladio style stay-behind network to sabotage any meaningful effort at systemic reform that would potentially rollback fascist right-wing gains of the past three decades. With a corrupt media spinning ever increasingly insane demand by the scumbaggers into a wag the dog style of populist uprising the useful idiots served their purpose in returning Republicans to power in 2010. The big assists must be given to not only corporate propaganda organs like Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal, in which NO serious challenge to the power structure would ever be referred to in such reverence as the tea party but to the raw cynicism and gross fecklessness of the Obama administration which alienated the traditional Democratic party base and kept them home in droves on election day. Now that the Koch Brothers have their hand picked governors in place in numerous states where whatever remains of the regulatory structure and social safety net will be destroyed with extreme prejudice the buffoonish teabaggers are going to understand exactly what happens when such a collection of vicious goons lose their usefulness to the party leadership – just think Night of the Long Knives.

I happen to actually know several of the suckers who suddenly, after years of George W. Bush racking up the national credit card with not a peep became shrieking, talking point spewing deficit hawks, howling about how Barack Obama’s wee wee isn’t circumcised which proved he was a secret Muslim/Commie out to send forth his militant black army ACORN to enslave the good ole white working folks. They began to harp on the Kenyan anti-colonialist worldview of Obama, raved about death panels, unions and did their damned level best to pour as much money into Glenn Beck’s bank account by buying his ghostwritten tripe that subsidizes his millionaire faux populism. When I asked one about how could he possibly compare and contrast the reputed Kenyan anti-colonialism of Obama with the anti-colonial worldview of the Founding Fathers that they so like to selectively quote he got that thousand yard stare and quickly changed the subject to George Soros. One has to have somewhat of a sick sense of humor to remain sane in this rotting empire these days, were those who actually subscribed to the horseshit peddled by the Koch Brothers network of think tanks, extreme radical Christian domination of the churches and are convinced that we are engaged in a steel cage death match crusade to halt the coming of Sharia law and the Islamic caliphate not legion they would be easier to dismiss. Now that they are being peeled off of the Republican elephant’s ass like blood-sucking leeches they are only going to become more desperate. How long will it be until some freak Christian group or militia sets off a mass casualty attack here in the USA? Of course it isn’t terrorism if the white people do it, like the white supremacist yahoo who left a backpack bomb along a Martin Luther King day parade route in Spokane . The enablers of the angry white army who benefit from using them as droogs sure has zero interest in examining the threat of domestic white terrorism. But Herr Liebermann and the Irish Republican Army supporting turd Peter King preside from on high against the hated scapegoated Muslims.

Never have I seen such a credulous collection of saps in my lifetime. The teabaggers will believe anything which they hear from the payroll propagandists, haters, fifth-columnists and demonic false prophet preachers with their slime campaigns out to paint Obama as an anti-American at best and the Antichrist himself at worst. Now this may seem sick but I have this twisted little fantasy, I wish that Obama did have a huge nefarious conspiracy to rid America once and for all of Raptureheads, Teabaggers, Deathers, red state fascists and assorted outher dumbasses. I would love it if he had the balls to just give the order to round up and relocate these vicious swine to some sort of reeducation camps, if they could be saved great, do the necessary lobotomies and send them back into society to pick beans and clean toilets, the jobs that after all ‘Americans just won’t do’ according to the talking points. And if not just march them into an industrial sized Soylent Green style meatgrinder and puree their asses up into a fine pulp (omitting the children from their dead-ender loser parents of course whose removal from their lives would free them from a lifetime of willful ignorance and bible study) mix it with plenty of bean sprouts, soy sauce and water chestnuts and sell it to the Chinese as egg roll stuffing or something. Baby Trig and his football shaped head could be auctioned off on EBay to some degenarate high rolling Asian cocksuckers like the ones in Faces of Death who revel in eating fresh monkey brains directly out of the poor creature’s skull. Sadly, given the pathological nature of American corporations to trade shit and shinola back and forth it would all likely end up as 2.99 per pound sausage on a stick at your local big blue smiley Wal-Mart superstore. Christ only knows what sort of raw agricultural waste and human sewage ends up being made into coleslaw at their delis. Just don’t gas them in the camps, it may spoil the flavor of their diseased flesh that could otherwise be passed off to the Meskin’ hating Becker bottom feeders as chorizo sausage in their frozen breakfast burritos.

Of course the sheer hypocrisy has contributed much to the downfall of the teabaggers, while howling and dancing around like a bunch of buffoons waving their Gadsen flags about the evils of the deficit, the needed purity rituals to take their country back and the growth of big government they are truly full of shit. Were the teabaggers concerned about big government and the deficit they would surely call for the immediate end of the imperialism of the Military Industrial Corporate Complex which these diseased, death worshipping bumpkins just adore, hell, carpet bombing sand niggers is nearly as good as NASCAR. The big government that they denounce with bogus passion that is only outwardly projected self-loathing (deservedly) is just fine with them as long as it consists of a gargantuan police state apparatus that they can one use to round up gays, libruls [sic], Muslims and illegal immigrants. A police state that has a high tech capability to allow the bible thumping prudes and ignoramuses to spy on the private behavior of others, and the more that it is about sex the better because with the crowd there is nothing that has more clarity than the two ideas of the vengeful bloodthirsty omnipotent God and that poking Mr. Wiggly into the dirty place isn’t anything that Jesus would approve of. Which just doesn’t seem so outrageous to them when it is pederast priests and pedophile preachers doing the poking. The lack of outrage towards Wall Street also defines the scumbagger schmucks, were they anything less than the malleable dolts and dupes that they always have been they would be marching with pitchforks and torches towards the swanky headquarters of Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Citi and Bank of America and storming the barricades of the corrupt high-rolling swine responsible for the economic collapse. It is a strange dichotomy that the dumb bastards regularly rail against teachers and their weakened unions but have zero qualms about the oligarchy grinding their bones to make their bread but you just can’t put lipstick on a pig or polish a turd, the Tea Party is what it is, the dregs of American society and the product of the war against the public education system. I really makes one wonder whether the early 20th Century elite just may have been onto something when they championed eugenics (yes, Hitler actually got a good deal of his ideas from the USA) and sterilization to keep the mentally inferior from reproducing. In retrospect, just how many of these fucking flag-waving borderline retards would have been born had that idea gotten more traction in it’s time?

I will be watching with much interest to see if the Republican dog is wagged by the Tea Party tail will have the gonads to actually shut down the government this week. The orange man John Boehner is feeling the heat as the angry army is getting more restive by the day that there hasn’t been legislation to make Obama cough up his birth certificate and is backed into a corner now. Any capitulation would potentially doom this career hack and allow an ambitious little pit viper like Eric Cantor to harness the uncontrollable monster of the cultural populist uprising that has been fed by the Kochs and their ilk. The latest jagoff to overstate his importance is some nitwit from Wisconsin named Paul Ryan who yesterday rolled out a budget proposal to cut over 4 trillion from big gubmint spending over the next decade. Of course military spending is ok as are tax cuts for the rich but anything that helps the poor is of course under the ax. Ryan, like so many of these other right-wing pigfuckers looks amazingly like a Nazi, just check out some old WWII footage and you will notice that there is an amazing resemblance between nearly all of these dipshits and their historical predecessors, just slap a Colonel Klink hat on Ryan and he’d fit right in. The GOP budget, with the typical Orwellian sounding name The Path to Prosperity is being touted by the moneychanger’s gospel that is Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal, then again so was the Tea Party and all of the other frauds.

Me, I say shut it down too. Let these pasty fat haters practice what they preach and not receive their medicare and social security checks, see how popular that the Beckers find that one. Boehner, Ryan and their ilk may find out very quickly that the Tea Party platform can be easily converted into a gallows.

The teabaggers never would have been taken seriously to begin with were not the establishment plutocrats enamored with the idea of fielding their very own Sturmabteilung to bully, intimidate, harangue and mislead as they acted to put  the post-Bush disgraced GOP back into power. The Dick Armey of Darkness was an Operation Gladio style stay-behind network to sabotage any meaningful effort at systemic reform that would potentially rollback fascist right-wing gains of the past three decades. With a corrupt media spinning ever increasingly insane demand by the scumbaggers into a wag the dog style of populist uprising the useful idiots served their purpose in returning Republicans to power in 2010. The big assists must be given to not only corporate propaganda organs like Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal, in which NO serious challenge to the power structure would ever be referred to in such reverence as the tea party but to the raw cynicism and gross fecklessness of the Obama administration which alienated the traditional Democratic party base and kept them home in droves on election day. Now that the Koch Brothers have their hand picked governors in place in numerous states where whatever remains of the regulatory structure and social safety net will be destroyed with extreme prejudice the buffoonish teabaggers are going to understand exactly what happens when such a collection of vicious goons lose their usefulness to the party leadership – just think Night of the Long Knives.

I happen to actually know several of the suckers who suddenly, after years of George W. Bush racking up the national credit card with not a peep became shrieking, talking point spewing deficit hawks, howling about how Barack Obama’s wee wee isn’t circumcised which proved he was a secret Muslim/Commie out to send forth his militant black army ACORN to enslave the good ole white working folks. They began to harp on the Kenyan anti-colonialist worldview of Obama, raved about death panels, unions and did their damned level best to pour as much money into Glenn Beck’s bank account by buying his ghostwritten tripe that subsidizes his millionaire faux populism. When I asked one about how could he possibly compare and contrast the reputed Kenyan anti-colonialism of Obama with the anti-colonial worldview of the Founding Fathers that they so like to selectively quote he got that thousand yard stare and quickly changed the subject to George Soros. One has to have somewhat of a sick sense of humor to remain sane in this rotting empire these days, were those who actually subscribed to the horseshit peddled by the Koch Brothers network of think tanks, extreme radical Christian domination of the churches and are convinced that we are engaged in a steel cage death match crusade to halt the coming of Sharia law and the Islamic caliphate not legion they would be easier to dismiss. Now that they are being peeled off of the Republican elephant’s ass like blood-sucking leeches they are only going to become more desperate. How long will it be until some freak Christian group or militia sets off a mass casualty attack here in the USA? Of course it isn’t terrorism if the white people do it, like the white supremacist yahoo who left a backpack bomb along a Martin Luther King day parade route in Spokane . The enablers of the angry white army who benefit from using them as droogs sure has zero interest in examining the threat of domestic white terrorism. But Herr Liebermann and the Irish Republican Army supporting turd Peter King preside from on high against the hated scapegoated Muslims.

Never have I seen such a credulous collection of saps in my lifetime. The teabaggers will believe anything which they hear from the payroll propagandists, haters, fifth-columnists and demonic false prophet preachers with their slime campaigns out to paint Obama as an anti-American at best and the Antichrist himself at worst. Now this may seem sick but I have this twisted little fantasy, I wish that Obama did have a huge nefarious conspiracy to rid America once and for all of Raptureheads, Teabaggers, Deathers, red state fascists and assorted outher dumbasses. I would love it if he had the balls to just give the order to round up and relocate these vicious swine to some sort of reeducation camps, if they could be saved great, do the necessary lobotomies and send them back into society to pick beans and clean toilets, the jobs that after all ‘Americans just won’t do’ according to the talking points. And if not just march them into an industrial sized Soylent Green style meatgrinder and puree their asses up into a fine pulp (omitting the children from their dead-ender loser parents of course whose removal from their lives would free them from a lifetime of willful ignorance and bible study) mix it with plenty of bean sprouts, soy sauce and water chestnuts and sell it to the Chinese as egg roll stuffing or something. Baby Trig Palin and his football shaped head could be auctioned off on EBay to some high-rolling degenarate  Asian cocksuckers like the ones in Faces of Death who revel in eating fresh monkey brains directly out of the poor creature’s skull. Sadly, given the pathological nature of American corporations to trade shit and shinola back and forth it would all likely end up as 2.99 per pound sausage on a stick at your local big blue smiley Wal-Mart superstore. Christ only knows what sort of raw agricultural waste and human sewage ends up being made into coleslaw at their delis. Just don’t gas them in the camps, it may spoil the flavor of their diseased flesh that could otherwise be passed off to the Meskin’ hating Becker bottom feeders as chorizo sausage in their frozen breakfast burritos.

Of course the sheer hypocrisy has contributed much to the downfall of the teabaggers, while howling and dancing around like a bunch of buffoons waving their Gadsen flags about the evils of the deficit, the needed purity rituals to take their country back and the growth of big government they are truly full of shit. Were the teabaggers concerned about big government and the deficit they would surely call for the immediate end of the imperialism of the Military Industrial Corporate Complex which these diseased, death worshipping bumpkins just adore, hell, carpet bombing sand niggers is nearly as good as NASCAR. The big government that they denounce with bogus passion that is only outwardly projected self-loathing (deservedly) is just fine with them as long as it consists of a gargantuan police state apparatus that they can one use to round up gays, libruls [sic], Muslims and illegal immigrants. A police state that has a high tech capability to allow the bible thumping prudes and ignoramuses to spy on the private behavior of others, and the more that it is about sex the better because with the crowd there is nothing that has more clarity than the two ideas of the vengeful bloodthirsty omnipotent God and that poking Mr. Wiggly into the dirty place isn’t anything that Jesus would approve of. Which just doesn’t seem so outrageous to them when it is pederast priests and pedophile preachers doing the poking. The lack of outrage towards Wall Street also defines the scumbagger schmucks, were they anything less than the malleable dolts and dupes that they always have been they would be marching with pitchforks and torches towards the swanky headquarters of Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Citi and Bank of America and storming the barricades of the corrupt high-rolling swine responsible for the economic collapse. It is a strange dichotomy that the dumb bastards regularly rail against teachers and their weakened unions but have zero qualms about the oligarchy grinding their bones to make their bread but you just can’t put lipstick on a pig or polish a turd, the Tea Party is what it is, the dregs of American society and the product of the war against the public education system. I really makes one wonder whether the early 20th Century elite just may have been onto something when they championed eugenics (yes, Hitler actually got a good deal of his ideas from the USA) and sterilization to keep the mentally inferior from reproducing. In retrospect, just how many of these fucking flag-waving borderline retards would have been born had that idea gotten more traction in it’s time?

I will be watching with much interest to see if the Republican dog is wagged by the Tea Party tail will have the gonads to actually shut down the government this week. The orange man John Boehner is feeling the heat as the angry army is getting more restive by the day that there hasn’t been legislation to make Obama cough up his birth certificate and is backed into a corner now. Any capitulation would potentially doom this career hack and allow an ambitious little pit viper like Eric Cantor to harness the uncontrollable monster of the cultural populist uprising that has been fed by the Kochs and their ilk. The latest jagoff to overstate his importance is some nitwit from Wisconsin named Paul Ryan who yesterday rolled out a budget proposal to cut over 4 trillion from big gubmint spending over the next decade. Of course military spending is ok as are tax cuts for the rich but anything that helps the poor is of course under the ax. Ryan, like so many of these other right-wing pigfuckers looks amazingly like a Nazi, just check out some old WWII footage and you will notice that there is an amazing resemblance between nearly all of these dipshits and their historical predecessors, just slap a Colonel Klink hat on Ryan and he’d fit right in. The GOP budget, with the typical Orwellian sounding name The Path to Prosperity is being touted by the moneychanger’s gospel that is Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal, then again so was the Tea Party and all of the other frauds.

Me, I say shut it down too. Let these pasty fat haters practice what they preach and not receive their medicare and social security checks, see how popular that the Beckers find that one. Boehner, Ryan and their ilk may find out very quickly that the Tea Party platform can be easily converted into a gallows.

Fourth of July on the Great American Lemming Farm

Greetings to all you fellow prisoners trapped amongst the world’s largest lemming colony as the ship of fools continues to take on water, oily water that is.  Encho checking in, been ahwile since I have had the motivation to put anything out but as the man once sang, “the times they are a changing”. It’s been a nice form of hiatus and semi-retirement but given the sad state of affairs I feel that it’s time to get off of the bench and back into the game. I felt that a perfect time to relaunch would be flag-suckers weekend, the fetid stench of the hot air that will be belched out by Becked up faux patriots screwing up their misdirected outrage at the war criminal Obama government for all of the wrong reasons is in the air. The Fourth of July always brings out the biggest turds in the cesspool where they desecrate their beloved stars and stripes by wrapping their corpulent and idiotic carcasses in cheap Chinese made clothing adorned with it, overloading their red, white and blue picnic plates with potato salad, beans and fatty meats and flying it in front of profit starved retail outlets to lure the already maxed out consumers (Jesus, what an inhuman term) into their emporiums of marked-up, sweatshop produced wares. The Fourth has taken on an especially loathsome and menacing nature in 2010 that has been metastasizing like a cancer through this sickened society since the American Reichstag fire of September 11, 2001 and has confirmed for all time the words of Sinclair Lewis about fascism being delivered wrapped in the flag. The Teabaggers will be out in force this weekend, armed to the teeth and plotting their revolution or to those who are knowledgable of history their American Gladio. They will bray for the blood of the hated Muslims, Commies and Libruls [sic] in between stuffing food into their rancid pieholes, belching beer and singing God Bless America. That much is a given.

Yes, my friends, I have been away far too long and much has gone on that I have not been on record about, the one thing in Der Heimat that is consistent is the decline, the descent into morbid obesity, indolence, wrath and just plain dumbness has if anything since that helicopter hauled away George W. Bush like so much garbage only gained momentum. By now we can all see that Barack Obama is a fraud, an amateur, a pussy and a man in over his head. In the abysmal failure to use a substantial Democratic Congressional majority to produce anything even remotely resembling meaningful change OBushma will go down as one of history’s greatest fuckups, with a full head of steam coming out of the 2008 election, a nation hungering for a new direction after the ruination of the Bushreich and a world desperate for the United States to once again become a moral (more accurately a less trenchant bully) example the inexperienced usurper blew it. With the appoint of the sleazy operator Rahm Emanuel as the new Chief of Staff it was apparent early on that in reality, all that really happened is that the great whorehouse at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue was a bit of cosmetic cleaning and a new shingle that said “UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT”, the fucking would of course go on as it always does in the land of fuck you I got mine.

WAGING THE GOOD WAR FOR THE RIGHT REASONS

Obama’s regime has been an abject catastrophe, to such a degree that even a return of Bush and Cheney would be an improvement. In short order the feckless Obama administration and the even more pathetic Harry Reid led Senate were terrorized into capitulation by mobs of FOX sponsored teabagger brownshirts that descended enmasse to shriek incoherently at town hall meetings to ensure that any sort of health care reform would be D.O.A. The final bill was a mockery, a thinly concealed bailout of the rapacious insurance ghouls and the mandate by the state to use government power to force busted out Americans to purchase shitty overpriced coverage from the same diseased pigfuckers responsible for the worst health care system in the industrialized world. Obama followed up that gem with his escalation of the long since lost Afghanistan occupation, getting suckered into that murderous, money sucking black hole under the ludicrous premise that it was the “good war”. With the recently ugly cashiering of General Stanley McChrystal, Obama’s own hand-picked assassin over comments made in a Rolling Stone magazine expose that put a bug up the Commander in Chief’s ass for reasons that I am still unable to figure out after reading the damned thing twice the damned war has so obviously been lost that even an assclown like RNC Chairman Michael Steele is able to slime out from under whatever lesbian bondage club’s bar that he has been hiding under and calling out Obama for this growing mega-clusterfuck that is truthfully his war of choice. Obama is nothing more than Lyndon Baines Johnson without the progressive social agenda and the Afghanistan disaster will be his Waterloo.

Back to the McChrystal firing. I realize that Stan da Man is a murderer, a hired thug and actively participated in the coverup of the murder ot Pat Tillman (if not carrying out the command of the assassination of the man who would prove to be a very embarassing voice against the wars were he allowed to return home) for which he should have been busted down to buck private and sent to Leavenworth over, however, the entire uproar over the Rolling Stone piece has a funny smell to it. Notice how nearly all of the establishment pundits and assorted press plants, mockingbirds and highly paid propagandist shithacks were universally down with it, it was something much more serious than mocking the morons running the war, including Joe “Bite Me” Biden, Bibi’s personal footstool. McChrystal’s guys were pretty much spot on from what I read but the most serious transgressions would appear to be that McChrystal had dialed down the rules of engagement in order to keep the civilian death toll down. Not popular with our trigger happy little green ‘heroes’ who want blood, most specifically the blood of Muslims given the presence of so many murderous ‘Christian’ fascist fanatics in the U.S. military to fight the new crusades. I seem to recall from back when I was running with the phonies on the ‘left’ that there was a lot of weeping and gnashing of the teeth tht General McChrystal was GASP an ascetic zealot but it would seem like the Rolling Stone article blows that little piece of agitprop away as so much horseshit, were he an ascetic he wouldn’t be getting fucking shitfaced drunk and then cutting loose in the presence of a reporter who was not on the official dole. According to some sources he banned FOX News from his headquarters, a cardinal sin for the drooling war freak neocons and according to another story was a flaming librul [sic] who was tolerant towards gays.  McChrystal also criticized the use of mercenaries, a big no-no in the third term of the Bush administration, especially when Blackwater/Xe just scored a big contract to conduct their unaccountable black ops duties in Afghanistan. It would seem like all of this would already had the general on the shitlist but the unspeakable blasphemy that the war was lost is what I truly suspect ultimately did him in. McChrystal was on record as referring to the territory of Marjah as a “bleeding ulcer”, eerily similar to remarks made by former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev who called Afghanistan a “bleeding wound” as it became increasingly apparent that it was sticking a fork in the ass of his Empire.

ENTER GENERAL WINSTON WOLF

Are we any smarter than the Russians who never recovered from their disastrous Afghan misadventures? It would seem not with Obushma now having to turn to the sainted General David Petraeus to engineer a similar propaganda campaign to the now famous SURGE that turned the Iraq debacle from chicken shit into chicken salad in the eyes of the chronically misinformend and celebrity infatuated American sheeple. We may not be any smarter but thanks to the cancer that is American Capitalism we sure as fuck are more greedy than those damned godless Commies were. Not only has a recent New York Times ‘scoop’ revealed that the hills of Afghanistan are just filled with trillions of dollars of untapped mineral resources that the unscrupulous pigs who have stripmined the industrial capacity of America and eliminated countless millioins of jobs through labor arbitrage to third world shitholes but there is always the hidden agenda of the opium crops. Anyone who is at least somewhat competent in geopolitics fully knows that the U.S. of A has long been involved in the international narcotics trade. The Wall Street banks especially love drug profits and there is no way of being to accurately estimate the amount of drug money that is laundered through the same fiend-filled shithouses that the Obama administration just bailed out with trillions in U.S. taxpayer dollars that could have been better utilized in creating jobs for the poor schmucks at the bottom of the trickle-down economics outhouse hole but it is a lot. I will save that ugly, convoluted, dangerous and sordid tale for a future time but suffice it to say, the laundering of drug money through the big banks during the recent collapse in the massive ponzi scheme saved the bacon of the banksters. So Petraeus is now sent to Afghanistan, has already gone on record as saying that he is going to change the rules of engagement in order to allow for the implementation of the “kill em all and let God sort ’em out” American style of combat which will allow him to retain his media created heroic image and stick the final dagger into the back of the pathetically overmatched Obama in the process. Perhaps even wrapping it all up to return to glory and worship back here in Der Heimat in time to run against the Pope of Hope in 2012. The neocons are betting on it already, the Republicans already having ridden the co-opted Tea Party lightning to the point where the exoskeleton will be shed leaving the racist maggots to tear each other to shreds and for the leader of the New American Century to emergy like a chrysalis from the cocoon. IS THIS A GREAT COUNTRY OR WHAT?

But enough about the lost war in Afghanistan, we here in between the shining seas have other wars to worry about that have more urgency. I primarily refer to the lopsided class war during which the state uses the full power of the militarized police to ensure that the upwardly redistribution of wealth continues. The ballyhooed Wall Street/Financial Reform bill is nothing more than a rotten, rigged and borderline criminal defense of the big banks whose Gordon Gekko worship and chronic gambler mentality have effecively nuked the entire global economy. What will remain of this travesty by the time that the bumbling boob Obama finally signs it will be the proverbial band aid on the sucking chest wound. The derivatives casinos will continue to hum along, there will be only the illusion of any sort of change that helps the average peasants and the stage is being set for the last catastrophic economic blowup of all time. The next one will be where the pigs retreat into their stocked and heavily fortified compounds, install a buffer zone of militarized police and private security thugs and then let the poor dumb bastard rabble rip each other’s throats out in what will be something of a cross between The Road Warrior and the savage battle for the last can of Milwaukee’s Best at a teabagger July 4th bund rally. The end is coming people and you all would do best to prepare yourselves for it by stocking up with canned food, water, batteries and guns with plenty of ammo. You are going to need to hunker down and try to survive while the less prepared are out beating each other into pulp with whatever they can find to use as a bludgeon. Do you really think that the average American asshole is cognizant enough of anything on any sort of a level where they are able to comprehend the implications of a Malthusian level catastrophe? Shit, during my time away from blogging the primary topics of conversation and news coverage all were about the exhuming and raping the corpse of poor Natalee Holloway with the story of some Dutch degenerate named Joran Van Der Sloot. It’s what works here in Murka, keep the monkeys fascinated with these idiotic lurid scandals while the entire fucking world collapses. Next up, Van Der Sloot will be trotted out on CNN, FOX and MSNBC as the latest suspect in the long-running Jon Benet Ramsey child murder case…that is if the shameless sequel to the great Clinton blowjob inquisitions involving the alleged semen stains of Al Gore doesn’t swallow them whole. So take my advice, these stupid bitches and bastards likely don’t have enough food in their refrigerators to get them through half a week let alone a prolonged collapse in the social structure. Food, Guns and Ammo….you will thank me for this advice one day. 

RULE #1: THINGS CAN ALWAYS GET WORSE

Lastly, since I have already been rambling on extensively today I will keep it short I am going to keep with the cheery news in that the speed of the collapse could be escalated. I speak of the colossal environmental disaster in the Gulf of Mexico courtesy of British Petroleum with a big assist to our corrupt American style of Capitalism that continues to worsen by the day. There is really no accurate way to assess the magnitude of this catastrophe, the media is only being given bits and pieces of the bad news – not that the suckers of the corporate and government elite would bother to report the fucking truth anyway. This is going to be a long term, life-altering event and there has been little to no mention of what is going to happen when one or two hurricanes roar into the gulf, pick up all of the toxic goo and deliver it inlands with 120 + mph winds and a massive storm surge. Think that New Orleans was devastated by Hurricane Katrina (ok, it was the chronic inability of anyone to build a modern levee system that magnified the damage) just wait until a heavily populated area is not only torn to bits by a savage storm but all of the property, vegetation, roads and other infrastructure, personal property, vehicles and animals wake up covered in oil sludge and deadly chemicals. That is coming and that is what the government is NOT telling anybody about. I don’t blame this all on Obama though, the gutting of the environmental protections began long before he found himself enscsonced upon the throne. Sure he has dicked aroud by coddling the corporations and his decision to not only retain corrupt officials (see Tim Dickinson’s great Rolling Stone article The Spill, The Scandal and the President) and playing nice with BP, probably due to the fact that they are a huge supplier of fuel to the Imperial U.S. military but at least he isn’t practically sucking the cocks of BP executives like the fascist Republican assholes in Congress are doing, retrograde goons the likes of Joe Barton of Texas (where else?) but it is still another massive fuckup on his watch.

JESUS LOVES YOU BUT EVERYONE ELSE THINKS YOU’RE AN ASSHOLE

So what now? I seriously considered wallking away from all of this shit forever for a good while because as I mentioned once before there is a chronic inability in America to hear the truth. The whole shittin’ shebang is all going to collapse anyway no matter what I do. I am pushing 50 now and given my lifestyle over the years have at best and realistically (optimistically too) around 25-30 years left on planet shit. I have no kids so I really don’t give a rat’s ass about anything other than getting out of here before the worst hits, just run out the clock you know. But I just can’t, damned as I may try to just stop caring, not that I am any great lover of humanity or anything, truthfully, I really dislike most people, they are stupid, selfish, mean-spirited and vain, they are believers in the most ridiculous things. Things like serious change, peace and justice in our time, that America is a great nation, exceptional and unlike every other empire in history that murdered, enslaved, pillaged and stole the resources of those of lesser strength, superstitious hogwash like the bible and worst of all faith in the wondrous economic system that is American Capitalism. I do not suffer fools kindly and Christ knows that I am seriously outnumbered by them. A grim sort of resignation is what I have and a serious case of revulsion and outright contempt for the majority of Americans. I can proudly say that I am ashamed to be an American so all of the flag swaddled, Becked up fucksticks can go out and gorge themselves on potato salad and patriotic nonsense this weekend, they deserve each other.

In closing I would like to bring attention to a man who is a modern day prophet, a writer extraordinaire and who has more compassion and wisdom in his little toenail than any randomly chosen 5 tons of junk food fed, obese and terminally fucked Americans. I speak of the great Joe Bageant and his tour de force essay that he just published entitled Live From Planet Norte. This is essential reading to all of use who are awake and aware. It has a poetic quality to it as does most of Joe’s stuff but it’s the closing that nails it and I will excerpt a short piece of the essay here – however do yourselves a favor and go read it at Joe’s place, and his other stuff too, it will help you make some sense out of all of this.

Turn off your mind, relax and float down stream

Informed and globally conscious people are sickened, heartbroken by the spectral truth. But to use the same Neal Cassady quote for the second time this year: “To have seen a specter is not everything.”

In fact, it even has a good side. Transformation. Once you honestly accept what you have seen, you are changed, released from the previous stress and fear. Like so many feared experiences, it is its own psychodynamic, and is about “coming out the other side” of the experience. Accepting such a truth — especially for pathologically optimistic, cheer stressed Americans — shatters many painfully held illusions. The chief one is that we are the animating force behind all significant change, and that the massive damage we do is “progress”). In their place grows a new inner awareness. Although it does not conform to any popular definition as such, the easiest way to describe it is “spiritual,” Who in these times, you may ask, believes in the spirit as an animating force of mankind? My answer is: Those who can be still enough to see that spirit moving.

With it comes the awareness and acceptance of forces far more powerful than our puny anthropocentric illusions of planetary authority. We can arrive at this understanding by way of thinking, logic and reason. The mind is a cumbersome and inefficient way to go about escaping traps you build with your mind, but yes, it can be done. Most educated people in this science worshipping age prefer the convoluted path of logic and rational exercise, over calmly opening one’s eyes and heart to the world before us, as wiser men have done for thousands of years.

There is more worthwhile in those two and a half paragraphs than others can write in volumes. You go Joe!

The recent swarm attack against Dennis Kucinich by phony liberal organizations like MoveOn.org for his holdout on the insurance industry windfall that is your new national healthcare ‘reform’ bill was evidence of the purge of heretics from the Rahm Emanuel corporate co-opted ‘left’. I am certain that everyone reading anything that I do has been subjected to some form of censorship, banning, troll-rating or comment hiding at what are cynically foisted off as free speech oriented liberal/progressive or for that matter inclusive independent blogs for being critical of our God chosen very special friends in Israel, that goes with the territory. It is pretty commonly understood that the genocidal Zionists have for years recruited operatives to blogswarm, bully and tar as anti-Semitic those who dare to shine the light on human rights abuses, war crimes and atrocities that should have the Israeli leaders in the dock at the Hague, that is just something that has to be dealt with when blogging. As my old southern buddy Mikey used to say “if you’re going to play in NASCAR you should expect to get more than a few dings” but the siege has often resulted in the even more chilling self-censorship in the fear that ANY conversation regarding Israel and the Palestinians is verboten. Take for example a place called Docudharma where I have occasionally posted, to venture into calling out Zionist aggression in any way, shape or form will nearly instantaneously have one ostracized. I single DD out because I have witnessed it there, it was a spinoff from Markos Moulitsas-Zuniga’s (who is as left wing as Stalin) Daily Kos which is notorious for the policing of cynics, skeptics, doubters and above all else – critics of Israel.

But I digress…

The creeping menace of liberal/progressive blog censorship has hit me again this week, I only bring this up because it was over at OpEd News, a forum that I have been a regular at for years, have contributed articles to and have commented on many. It was always an open forum albeit since it gets a good deal of exposure there needed to be a bit of discretion used in using certain terms which is an understandable tradeoff for the exposure that an article could get due to the crossover appeal of OEN – my series on Main Core, PROMIS and the Shadow Government as well as some things that I did on 9/11 received attention elsewhere due to OEN.

This week though, I ran afoul of the censors for a comment that I had posted on a Rob Kall article entitled: Will Supreme Court Kill the Obama Health Care Reform Plan? which addressed the possibility that the fascist John Roberts and his Federalist Society and Opus Dei cronies would in activist fashion overturn Obamacare in much the way that they inistalled George W. Bush in the White House by oveturning a Gore victory in 2000. I posted a sardonic reply suggesting a bumper sticker slogan of “Hang The Robes” which turned into an extended flame war with a traveler who in his third reply or so admitted to being a Birther. The thing was ultimately flagged and deleted by one of OEN’s Daily Kos styled ‘editiors’ in charge of selecting what to flush down the memory hole. I certainly wasn’t advocating the murder of federal judges, just their impeachment but a scumbagger got his star-spangled panties in a bunch and enough of them cried when confronted with someone who didn’t roll over for their brownshirt bullying. I would have posted the entire thread but it’s been disappeared so I have to settle with the my final response:

After all of your embarrassing and disgusting rabble rousing you still went down in defeat to a bill that is horrible across the board and a giveaway to the parasitical insurance industry. Thanks to you schmucks we are ALL screwed but the big money boys are laughing all the way to the bank on your easily exploited gullibility AGAIN!

That is what you get for allowing yourselves to be used as human penis extensions for hard core Republican swine like Newt Gingrich and Dick Armey.

My advice to you is to forget about the Birther fantasies and get a life along with the rest of your moonbat buddies.

Now the whole thing was pretty mild, certainly not the high octane Encho rants that have been launched elswhere but the fascist bullies and the jelly-spined OEN editors succeeded in getting the comment and all subsequent comments removed. Again, this is but one example of what is going on right now and it’s alarming because it is occurring in forums where free speech had at one time been sanctified….and this isn’t the only time of late that I have been stomped on by administrators who decided that towing the line, not offending those who lack the intestinal fortitude to realize that we are at war, a cold civil war that could turn hot at any moment given the Republican Gladio droogs of the teabagger movement – which is becoming violent in a similar way that the Sturmabteilung did all those years ago. Maybe this is just a personal bug up my ass, it sure bothers me though because now is the time when we must become more vocal, more angry, more passionate in denouncing the fascist takeover of America.

Truth Has Fallen and Taken Liberty With It

There was a time when the pen was mightier than the sword. That was a time when people believed in truth and regarded truth as an independent power and not as an auxiliary for government, class, race, ideological, personal, or financial interest.

Today Americans are ruled by propaganda. Americans have little regard for truth, little access to it, and little ability to recognize it.

Truth is an unwelcome entity. It is disturbing. It is off limits. Those who speak it run the risk of being branded “anti-American,” “anti-semite” or “conspiracy theorist.”

Truth is an inconvenience for government and for the interest groups whose campaign contributions control government.

Truth is an inconvenience for prosecutors who want convictions, not the discovery of innocence or guilt.

Truth is inconvenient for ideologues.

Today many whose goal once was the discovery of truth are now paid handsomely to hide it. “Free market economists” are paid to sell offshoring to the American people. High-productivity, high value-added American jobs are denigrated as dirty, old industrial jobs. Relicts from long ago, we are best shed of them. Their place has been taken by “the New Economy,” a mythical economy that allegedly consists of high-tech white collar jobs in which Americans innovate and finance activities that occur offshore. All Americans need in order to participate in this “new economy” are finance degrees from Ivy League universities, and then they will work on Wall Street at million dollar jobs.

Economists who were once respectable took money to contribute to this myth of “the New Economy.”

And not only economists sell their souls for filthy lucre. Recently we have had reports of medical doctors who, for money, have published in peer-reviewed journals concocted “studies” that hype this or that new medicine produced by pharmaceutical companies that paid for the “studies.”

The Council of Europe is investigating the drug companies’ role in hyping a false swine flu pandemic in order to gain billions of dollars in sales of the vaccine.

The media helped the US military hype its recent Marja offensive in Afghanistan, describing Marja as a city of 80,000 under Taliban control. It turns out that Marja is not urban but a collection of village farms.

And there is the global warming scandal, in which NGOs. the UN, and the nuclear industry colluded in concocting a doomsday scenario in order to create profit in pollution.

Wherever one looks, truth has fallen to money.

Wherever money is insufficient to bury the truth, ignorance, propaganda, and short memories finish the job.

I remember when, following CIA director William Colby’s testimony before the Church Committee in the mid-1970s, presidents Gerald Ford and Ronald Reagan issued executive orders preventing the CIA and U.S. black-op groups from assassinating foreign leaders. In 2010 the US Congress was told by Dennis Blair, head of national intelligence, that the US now assassinates its own citizens in addition to foreign leaders.

When Blair told the House Intelligence Committee that US citizens no longer needed to be arrested, charged, tried, and convicted of a capital crime, just murdered on suspicion alone of being a “threat,” he wasn’t impeached. No investigation pursued. Nothing happened. There was no Church Committee. In the mid-1970s the CIA got into trouble for plots to kill Castro. Today it is American citizens who are on the hit list. Whatever objections there might be don’t carry any weight. No one in government is in any trouble over the assassination of U.S. citizens by the U.S. government.

As an economist, I am astonished that the American economics profession has no awareness whatsoever that the U.S. economy has been destroyed by the offshoring of U.S. GDP to overseas countries. U.S. corporations, in pursuit of absolute advantage or lowest labor costs and maximum CEO “performance bonuses,” have moved the production of goods and services marketed to Americans to China, India, and elsewhere abroad. When I read economists describe offshoring as free trade based on comparative advantage, I realize that there is no intelligence or integrity in the American economics profession.

Intelligence and integrity have been purchased by money. The transnational or global U.S. corporations pay multi-million dollar compensation packages to top managers, who achieve these “performance awards” by replacing U.S. labor with foreign labor. While Washington worries about “the Muslim threat,” Wall Street, U.S. corporations and “free market” shills destroy the U.S. economy and the prospects of tens of millions of Americans.

Americans, or most of them, have proved to be putty in the hands of the police state.

Americans have bought into the government’s claim that security requires the suspension of civil liberties and accountable government. Astonishingly, Americans, or most of them, believe that civil liberties, such as habeas corpus and due process, protect “terrorists,” and not themselves. Many also believe that the Constitution is a tired old document that prevents government from exercising the kind of police state powers necessary to keep Americans safe and free.

Most Americans are unlikely to hear from anyone who would tell them any different.

I was associate editor and columnist for the Wall Street Journal. I was Business Week’s first outside columnist, a position I held for 15 years. I was columnist for a decade for Scripps Howard News Service, carried in 300 newspapers. I was a columnist for the Washington Times and for newspapers in France and Italy and for a magazine in Germany. I was a contributor to the New York Times and a regular feature in the Los Angeles Times. Today I cannot publish in, or appear on, the American “mainstream media.”

For the last six years I have been banned from the “mainstream media.” My last column in the New York Times appeared in January, 2004, coauthored with Democratic U.S. Senator Charles Schumer representing New York. We addressed the offshoring of U.S. jobs. Our op-ed article produced a conference at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. and live coverage by C-Span. A debate was launched. No such thing could happen today.

For years I was a mainstay at the Washington Times, producing credibility for the Moony newspaper as a Business Week columnist, former Wall Street Journal editor, and former Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Treasury. But when I began criticizing Bush’s wars of aggression, the order came down to Mary Lou Forbes to cancel my column.

The American corporate media does not serve the truth. It serves the government and the interest groups that empower the government.

America’s fate was sealed when the public and the anti-war movement bought the government’s 9/11 conspiracy theory. The government’s account of 9/11 is contradicted by much evidence. Nevertheless, this defining event of our time, which has launched the US on interminable wars of aggression and a domestic police state, is a taboo topic for investigation in the media. It is pointless to complain of war and a police state when one accepts the premise upon which they are based.

These trillion dollar wars have created financing problems for Washington’s deficits and threaten the U.S. dollar’s role as world reserve currency. The wars and the pressure that the budget deficits put on the dollar’s value have put Social Security and Medicare on the chopping block. Former Goldman Sachs chairman and U.S. Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson is after these protections for the elderly. Fed chairman Bernanke is also after them. The Republicans are after them as well. These protections are called “entitlements” as if they are some sort of welfare that people have not paid for in payroll taxes all their working lives.

With over 21 per cent unemployment as measured by the methodology of 1980, with American jobs, GDP, and technology having been given to China and India, with war being Washington’s greatest commitment, with the dollar over-burdened with debt, with civil liberty sacrificed to the “war on terror,” the liberty and prosperity of the American people have been thrown into the trash bin of history.

The militarism of the U.S. and Israeli states, and Wall Street and corporate greed, will now run their course. As the pen is censored and its might extinguished, I am signing off.

Joe Stack, a Rising Tide and a Restless Oligarchy

There is something in the air in America, something very big is happening. With the already lame duck Barack Obama administration having done more to delegitimize the myth that the government is there to serve the people and that the Bush years were but an aberration. Now after the Wall Street bailouts and the continuing exporting of American jobs to juice corporate profits, the undermining of serious health care reform and the escalation of both wars and the police state an extremely ominous undercurrent is rippling through the land and while still in the early stages it has the establishment terrified and circling the wagons.

The weekly column by Frank Rich of the damned librul [sic] New York Times is one of the first things that I read every Sunday morning and today’s offering is a mish-mash of conflation, myths and propaganda designed of course to protect the establishment. The piece, mockingly entitled The Axis of the Obsessed and Deranged starts off with the foreboding two paragraphs which I excerpt:

No one knows what history will make of the present — least of all journalists, who can at best write history’s sloppy first draft. But if I were to place an incautious bet on which political event will prove the most significant of February 2010, I wouldn’t choose the kabuki health care summit that generated all the ink and 24/7 cable chatter in Washington. I’d put my money instead on the murder-suicide of Andrew Joseph Stack III, the tax protester who flew a plane into an office building housing Internal Revenue Service employees in Austin, Tex., on Feb. 18. It was a flare with the dark afterlife of an omen.

What made that kamikaze mission eventful was less the deranged act itself than the curious reaction of politicians on the right who gave it a pass — or, worse, flirted with condoning it. Stack was a lone madman, and it would be both glib and inaccurate to call him a card-carrying Tea Partier or a “Tea Party terrorist.” But he did leave behind a manifesto whose frothing anti-government, anti-tax rage overlaps with some of those marching under the Tea Party banner. That rant inspired like-minded Americans to create instant Facebook shrines to his martyrdom. Soon enough, some cowed politicians, including the newly minted Tea Party hero Scott Brown, were publicly empathizing with Stack’s credo — rather than risk crossing the most unforgiving brigade in their base.

First off, I don’t really think that you can fairly lump all of the teabaggers into one group quite so easily, for example Glenn Beck, Ron Paul and Sarah Palin. Ron Paul is a consistently principled man who has done more to stand against the imperialist gangster state in the last several years than anyone elso other than maybe Dennis Kucinich who is much easier marginalized than Paul. Glenn Beck is a half batshit crazy multimillionaire former shock jock turned FOX propagandist and the faction of the Tea Party that he represents are largely igoramuses, racists and useful idiots who lack the principles of Ron Paul. Mega-star Sarah Palin is largely a creation of the Weekly Standard/Commentary crowd and has already come out to herd the teabaggers to the GOP and has the allure to reinvigorate the ‘Christian’ fascists of the Religous Right whose militant shocktroops served the Bush administration and the Republican party so well until the disastrous overreach of the Terry Schaivo debacle followed by the exposure of Ted Haggard’s secret life and the death of Jerry Falwell.

Hell, I guess you can count me in with the anti-government types now that the government no longer exists as an entity to maintain infrastructure, act in the common good and maintain a level playing field but instead has been hijacked and weaponized against the people as we can see in the police state that is being built. Any government that has become that poisoned really has to go in my opinion, the path that was taken after JFK’s execution has led us here and we can thank the internet for allowing those of use who are awake to rage against the machine. But the internet is soon going bye-bye, at least in its current incarnation and it will as usual be under the guise of protecting the sheeple from those big bad terrorists that are in actuality running our own government and have been doing so for a good long time now. I know of many liberals and progressives who are slowly starting to lose their idea of a big benevolent government and coming to the belated realization that in 2010 the government IS the enemy.

Per Rich’s column I also see the John Birch Society being dragged out again. The JBS has quite often been mentioned these days as a painted up fake devil. MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann, when not doing his moronic falsetto imitations of his opposite numbers on FOX and horseface Rachel Maddow have both been going after the JBS for months. I would not be understating it in saying the Birchers have been getting more free publicity from the comedians and corporate hacks on what passes for the liberal media than they have in decades, I would not be surprised if their membership numbers are up as well. Now as I have mentioned before, I have worked at times with the JBS in fighting intrusions on civil liberties which seem to scantly bother either the teabaggers who were nowhere to be found during the worst years of the Bushreich or the bleeding heart types whose great crusade in these times of tyranny, endless war and economic devastation seems to be forcing gay marriage initatives down the throats of a populace that just isn’t quite evolved enough to swallow it therefore only feeding the freaks on the extreme right more bloody red meat. But really, the JBS, while there are many things where I disagree with them are actually far more liberal than the Obama administration on civil liberties issues so perhaps therein lies the need to demonize them. God knows that we can’t have what was stripped away in the aftermath of the American Reichstag Fire by Bush and Cheney restored.

As for quoting off of anything from the Southern Poverty Law Center I would take that very warily. It is only natural for skeptics to question the agenda of the institution (just as that of the ADL) as any sort of a really legitimate source of information. They too are masters at conflation and depend on the presence of demons to exist, the more demons the better. The piece by Frank Rich in a prominent paper that builds on a previous New York Times Tea Party story by David Barstow entitled Tea Party Lights Fuse for Rebellion on Right that conjures up the specter of Timothy McVeigh shows that they are going to be conducting a witch hunt across the internet and chances are a good deal of the people who come to this site and many, many others are going to be the prey.

As I recall, the Tea Party actually began with the 9/11 Truth movement and then also the Ron Paul people, it was only after Obama’s election that the establishment hacks like Rick Santelli, Wall Street pimp and the insipid multi-millionaire Beck hijacked it with Republican backing. Now I would also suspect a certain level of hard-line Zionist infiltration like the laughably transparent Birthers (leader Orly Taitz is yet another Israeli right-wing shill) to discredit Obama for not nuking Tehran, you could see that when Sarah Palin appeared in Nashville for the high-roller version of the National Tea Party Convention wearing that Israeli flag pin and later said that Obama could be reelected were he to attack Iran. I know the way the Israelis operate and there is no way that they are not stirring the pot with at least the Beckers and Palinazis with lot of assistance from the American neocon propagandists but those useful idiots aren’t the ones that scare the bejesus out of the greedy swine who run this place.

Rich and the rest of the elite establishment seem to be extremely scared of the actions of Joe Stack who flew his plane into an IRS office. Now I am neither a right winger nor a teabagger but I did read the Stack ‘manifesto’ and it had a contempt for the entire rotten system as a whole and could not be easily stuffed into any pre configured cartoon character. I even wrote a piece called In Defense of Joe Stack where I condemned the use of violence but agreed with the anti establishment message. There is undeniably a growing sense of anger in America and with the left being pretty much a non-factor in directing the rage towards serious and constructive change it creates a vacuum which unfortunately has filled up with some of the worst type of miscreant that this country has to offer….along with a lot of others who just have nowhere else to go and are being used as human shields.

The fear of a Joe Stack whose grievances transcend the traditional left vs right paradigm by not only calling out the IRS but the the rancid piece of crap that is the national health care system, the crony capitalist government and closes with a line out of the Communist Manifesto sends shivers up the spines the real rulers of this country. The one thing about what Rich refers to as an inchoate movement is that it could very easily evolve into something that is a serious threat to the looters and blood barters and their tax the hell out of the rest of us to build their police state, fund their illegal wars and enrich their criminal buddies on Wall Street.

The thing about the guy killed in the IRS office, Vernon Hunter is also something that has been making the rounds a good deal lately, kind of reminds me the sort of raw cynicism when during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions was trolling the wreckage looking for a corpse that could bolster the case for the estate tax to protect multimillionaire chiselers. I had more than a few of the corpse humpers and ambulance chasers attack my piece on Stack over what was in essence collateral damage.

Maybe it makes me a bad person because I could give a rat’s ass about the guy who got killed in the building, just like the people who got blown up in 9/11 (I pretty much share Ward Churchill’s sentiment about the Little Eichmanns) whose deaths at the hand of the shadow government justified a new century of raw tyranny because in a way we are all guilty of participation in this monstrous system. Hell, I could get killed in my damned car on the way to or from work every day, I always had this problem with the big contradiction of the average American life being worth more than the brown and non-Christian women and children who have our tax dollar funded bombs dropped on them. Americans have a peculiar reverence for life, the trainer that got killed by the whale at Sea World is practically causing a national outpouring of mourning but how many people were eradicated by U.S. drone strikes, bombs gone off target or people who are dying right here in the good ole US of A due to poverty, starvation and lack of health care?

So basically the IRS is a representative form of a larger tyranny and Joe Stack happened to strike a blow against it , we can argue all day about ideology but when it all comes down to it there are only two life forms in America post 9/11, vampires and cattle. I do find it more than a bit cynical that the ‘left’ is canonizing poor Vernon as some kind of national victim in order to try to affix the ‘terrorist’ label that is used so often as a bludgeon against them by the fascist elements of the right. Failed crusades have a way of wearing people down especially when the pigs who run the system only care about who is yoking the slaves and delivering them to the man.

Rich seems to be keeping alive a certain storyline that is going to be used in order to justify Cass Sunstein style infiltrations, more police state measures (maybe even naked boy scanners in shopping malls) and a demonizing of many law abiding American citizens who are inadvertently being sucked into groups of potentially violent individuals including racist white supremacists that the GOP and the neocons have used as shock troops in the Tea Party Movement.

I believe that if it were cleaned up with a lot of the scum sent packing, Glenn Beck turned off and more of an anti-establishment, anti-war, anti-Wall Street and pro-restoration of civil liberties along the lines of a Ron Paul only with an acceptance of angry progressives and liberals who don’t drink the FOX fascist Kool Aid that the Tea Party Movement could become a formidable threat to the whole corrupt system.

Which is of course why it must be seen by a populace growing madder by the minute as nothing more than through a lens of demonizing the more ostentatious and vile elements.

A Happy Holiday Hosing to All

Christmas is coming and it will be a sad occasion in the tent cities and other homeless shelters that are a result of the mammoth, sans lube ass fucking delivered by the American oligarchy and it’s whores like that vile corrupt little bastard Joe Lieberman in D.C., Wall Street bagman Barack Obama has delivered a veritable sleighful of same old shit instead of the change that was promised, the worn and threadbare stockings are going to be as empty as his campaign promises and the souls of Wall Street bankers. In yet another of the craven cave-ins by the Vichy DemocRAT party the shit pit Senate commanded by one former Nevada Gaming Commissioner Harry Reid has gutted any sort of health care ‘reform’ short of arming the insurance parasites and empowering them to force the financially doomed to buy protection money, considering Harry’s rumored affiliation with organized crime is it really any surprise that it came to this? Yesterday it was Lansky Lieberman’s baseball bat strike to the kneecaps that killed the new 55 year old age lowering for Medicare eligibility (which would satisfy my personal needs – fuck everyone else and the public option too…I am going native in the land of ‘fuck you I got mine) and today it’s smacking down the importation of pharmaceuticals from Canada. Bring out the leeches! Oh, don’t bother, they’re already here.

So we once again arrive at the ‘most wonderful time of the year’, the right-wing freaks are again shrieking about the phony librul [sic] War on Christmas, this time plumbing the depths of the deranged mind of peckerwoods, Beckers and Palinazis with the ludicrous claim that phony librul Obama had scheduled his presidential address on December 1st to preempt that great American traditional holiday treat A Charlie Brown Christmas. This latest upchucking of fascist media bile even tops the typical Yuletide green vomit spew of Bill O’Reilly and the rest of the FOX Nazis, it seems to me that for one thing Obama was giving the speech to announce the escalation of the war in Afghanistan and we all know that war and murdering Muslim babies is as beloved to the savage chickenhawk cowards on the right as Grandma’s sweet potato pie and secondly wasn’t one of the big themes of A Charlie Brown Christmas the creeping commercialism that had taken over Christmas to begin with? I mean here in the near fully evolved Capitalist shithole of dog eat dog Murka Santa and the retailers, credit card companies and Madison Avenue pimps long ago triumphed over Jesus who has played second banana to the jolly fat man in the red suit for decades now. Gotta give it to the right wing freaks, their sense of history is as distorted as ever and it’s just more piss in the egg nog for everyone else.

So anyway, I want to throw out a few Christmas thoughts before my annual holiday hiatus from blogging (I will return after the first of the year) and foremost I want to give a nice big thank you to Citibank’s top flesh eating buzzard Vikram ‘the bandit’ Pandit. Your government subsidized den of usury and iniquity sent me out a nice little statement on my credit cards (which I had for year and NEVER missed a payment date on) that announced that I could either choose to keep your little plastic devil cards and agree to a 30 + percent interest rate or opt-out by a specified date and keep my old terms. So you little pigfucker, I would like to thank you from myself, my family and my friends for all of the great swag that I have run up in the last few weeks on Citi’s dole and I still have nine more shopping days to go, just under 2,000 left (can you say PARTY TIME) of available credit and thirteen more days until the opt out deadline. I would strongly encourage every other American who is on to the scam to do likewise. It’s a way to boost the economy by buying shit during the season and to shaft you sleazy pricks on the back end.

And if there is anything I hate more than the very concept of Christmas and what it has mutated into in Capitalist America – malls full of morons, political operatives using the season to pander to the angry white fuckwads who have been deprived of it all for their entire pathetic lives, having to be nice to people who you ordinarily would sooner rip their throats out, relatives straight out of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation – it is the inconvenient little truth that it’s not even Jesus’s birthday, it is an arbitrary date plucked from the ass of the Roman Emperor Constantine in something like the Fourth Century, don’t tell that to the Palinazi zombies though. You see my friends, Christmas is bullshit, it has been eaten alive by Santa Claus and same pus filled, four-flushing scumbags who are arbitrarily altering the rules on credit card accounts in the aftermath of their bloodsucking feast at the taxpayer trough. It’s all phony and here in Chumpland the suckers eat it up.

And one of the most hypocritical and dishonest aspects of the holiday season is having to pretend to like people who are complete assholes, ignoramuses, blowhards, bigots and the worst of them all: Republicans. A wasted night, usually on a Saturday when there are the NCAA football conference championship games on and spent amidst a gaggle of boring, self-centered idiots who know nothing of history, economics, civics or a concept of what really goes on in the world that is more advanced than the cartoon bullshit that passes for the news in this rotting empire. I must qualify my disdain for these parties in that I do make a distinction between family gatherings and parties with close friends rather than co-workers or the even more dreadful spouse’s co-workers. These affairs are intolerable, the music sucks, the company is bad and often times since they are pot luck events the food is even worse.

A particularly embarrassing and rather disgusting experience that has haunted me for quite awhile comes to mind. One year despite knowing better I allowed myself to be dragged to a Christmas party despite having a gastrointestinal virus (not a good thing for those who suffer from the dreaded I.B.S. to begin with. Now at this party there were about thirty people crammed into a smallish two bedroom suburban house with one and a half bathrooms. Now when the beer and booze are flowing at these sort of soirees there is always a wait for the use of the facilities as the evening goes on. Now combine the aforementioned gastrointestinal virus, I.B.S. and some food that is served (I believe that it was some sort of dip that did it) are a seriously problematic combination. Now when you take into consideration the long lines to use the john, the perfect storm comes together, a category four bowel storm to put it more precisely.

By the time that I painfully winded my way down the hallway, doubled over in agony and feeling like the alien was gestating inside of me I was able to make it inside the bathroom. My pants were already down before the door was fully closed and I just managed to park upon the porcelain a split second before what felt like three cubic feet of volcanic mud erupted from my ass at terminal velocity. I know that this is pretty gross but now comes the truly horrifying part. The shitstorm was so fierce that it flew up the back of the throne and soaked the synthetic fur cover of the toilet seat. So now in addition to having a hallway full of angry revelers about to piss in their pants ready to break down the door it was necessary to work very quickly to wash out the toilet cover – unfortunately it was the half bath so the sink was the only place available. The best that I could do was to get the festive Christmas red and white fur toilet seat cover back to more of a maroon and beige and then still half dripping back onto the lid which I propped up again and slithered away hoping that nobody would make the connection and blame me for it. Then I immediately got into my car without saying goodbye and drove like hell away from the scene of the crime.

Now before anybody gets a really negative idea about my character I must admit that I made the whole thing up but you get the point. I did however attend a party once where a lady from the office got so shitfaced that she passed out on the boss’s bed and then once the room started spinning out of control vomited a malodorous mess of jungle juice punch, egg nog and half-digested mini-meatballs and little smokies all over what looked to be a very expensive white fur comforter. Since I loathed both of them I laughed so hard that I nearly really did shit my pants.

If there is a silver lining to the coming economic collapse it is that the caterwauling little monsters at the mall will no longer be able to get everything that they want because daddy and mommy’s plastic is maxed out once and for all. This country has been submerged in shit largely because of the ignorant toxic waste generation who were children during the Reagan years along with their greedy, self-indulgent, boorish materialism who have for too long been taught that ignorance is a virtue and who have been weaned suckling at the tit of instant gratification. For the first time in these little spoiled brat’s lives they are going to finally learn the meaning of the word NO because after the dismal results for this holiday season are announced there will be more store and restaurant closures, commercial property defaults and millions of additional lost jobs as corporations continue to cut deeper to the bone with no further vision than the quarterly earnings statement. The corporations who rigged the system to monopolize America are now going to have to deal with something entirely new – a beggared population who can’t afford a pack of fucking ramen noodles let alone the must have junk and gadgetry that all children ages 3 to 70 with an available line of credit have become accustomed to. I really hope that the coming hardship and era of austerity will make better people of the average American (and this starts with the children) ‘consumer’ (I hate that term, it’s so fucking dehumanizing) as they are forced to live within their means and to enjoy the simple things in life. Hell, my grandparents and their generation survived a depression, fought a world war, were civically active and well informed and managed to create the most advanced and wealthy society in modern history before the baby boomers and Generation Reagan fucked it all up.

So you happy hosed Murkans this is it for this morning’s rant and for the rat bastard plague year of 2010 when even the illusion of being fucked with a smile was shattered. HO HO HO and may your holiday be bright.

ps: During a visit to my local Borders on last week’s Citibank sponsored shopping spree I was a bit aghast to see a pyramid built out of hundreds of Glenn Beck’s ghostwritten hunk of asswipe Arguing With Idiots (you know, the one with Dear Leader on the cover in a fucking East German Stasi uniform) along with smaller displays of Sarah Palin’s ghostwritten tome and for good measure another nice display of Glenn Beck’s Christmas Sweater book (a straightjacket would be far more appropriate). Borders and the rest of the retailers should just do the right thing and donate all of that overpriced, moronic drivel to the poor so that they can burn something in their fireplaces for heat this winter.
